We purchased a wooden bed from bedstar after 8 months the center support broke, we were asked to send pictures of the break. Customer support replied. The breakage is not covered in the warranty as you did not install anti slip Matt's under the legs as stated on our website. Well I have trolled the website and this must be written in the smallest of small print. So Im just warning anyone be careful with this company as in my opinion the warranty is not worth the ink.

Dodgy. Poor customer service. Dodgy courier service. Only contact number is an 0844, which constantly disconnects when you are on hold and charges each time. It took over 12 calls to connect with a person, also charging £40 to cancel an order as they are too late in delivering it out for us.

TAKE DELIVERY OF ONLY HALF A BED BASE & THE MATTRESS & THEN HAVE TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR FOR ANOTHER THREE NIGHTS UNTIL IT IS FOUND!!! DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE - HARDLY NEXT DAY DELIVERY & THANKFUL MY DISABLED HUSBAND WASN'T HERE - HE WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ACCESS FLOOR LEVEL FOR 3 NIGHTS!!! MATTRESS PROTECTOR AS COMPENSATION CAN BE SHOVED WHERE THE SUN DOESNT SHINE!

AVOID, AVOID,AVOID ! They don’t answer the phone, hang up on you, don’t deliver on time. We ordered a £1200 mattress which is like concrete and they don’t want to know . TRUELY AWFUL CUTOMER SERVICE.

Husband just returned from hospital after 6 weeks , urgently needed new mattress . Ordered Medium/Firm Giltedge £1199 on Friday 22nd Feb , no emails to confirm next day delivery . After numerous attempts to call them , cut off constantly , advised delivery would be Tuesday 26th . Email received Tuesday Morning to say delivery would NOT be attempted as my order was damaged . Again numerous attempts to call them , each option you select cuts you off unless you are lucky . Eventually received our mattress and it is absolutely horrendous , rock solid ! After three sleepless nights I emailed them to advise we would like a replacement and basically we have been told NO as the mattress has been used . This mattress is most definitely not medium firm as advertised. We are now £1200 out of pocket and are about to order another mattress . Disgusting customer service DO NOT USE !!!!

3 beds delivered on 2 dates, apparently the supplier’s mistake, with no prior notice and, on the first occasion no-one at home to sign and no notified safe place, this was the courier’s mistake we were told. All this after paying £30 delivery charge on account of our postcode. Customer service say they cannot refund the delivery charge so we have been doubly penalised for our Scottish postcode. We find it most unsatisfactory that Bedstar themselves accept no blame for this shambles.

Bedstar and their pathetic customer service !! Ordered a Julian Bowen bed last May for a next day delivery and guess what they sent me half s bed with missing parts. Raised concerns to customer service and with pathetic service they sent me the other half or so what they claim. Finally had somebody to assemble the bed only to realise I’m missing a side rail and the legs. Called the customer service again only to be repeatedly told I ordered a bed last May and they can’t help me. Please avoid bedstar like a plague is all I would say.

Awful, awful, awful company to deal with - would never buy from them again. Rude customer service - they slammed the phone down on me and never responded to my complaint. Paid for delivery but didn’t know where my order was, they couldn’t care where my order was and it costs £’s to call their customer service as it’s 0844 number! Avoid - it has been the worst and most stressful experience dealing with this company.

Ordered an Oak Bed from Bedstar, took day off to accept delivery, and got a walnut bed instead. Not much help from Customer services, fill in the forms (not our fault, its the supplier???) Most reputable companies take responsibility for their errors.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They sent us a bed costing 1100£ which had missing parts to fix the bed together! When contacted I was told it was not there problem and that I would have to email the supplier! The mattress was also folded in half and clearly states on the mattress not be folded or bent! The rudest customer service I have ever dealt with! We are currently trying to get our money back which is proving to be hard work! My partner is also heavily pregnant with no bed to sleep on but once again they said this isn’t there problem! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

The worst experience I have ever had. Not only did they deliver my bed in two separate shipments, they failed to collect my old bed for re-cycling. When I called customer service, I was told by Rachel to read the terms and conditions. Then when the second shipment arrived- the bed frame/base, it was the wrong colour, pink and blue instead of all grey Having disassembled my old bed for collection, and because they delivered the wrong bed, I have nothing to sleep on this evening. Totally unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Now I am waiting for them to collect the wrong delivery and deliver what I ordered. Customer service is an alien concept to Bedstar.

Ordering was straight forward and we were given a delivery date and a approximate time and so we dismantled our old bed that morning in anticipation of the new one arriving...unfortunately only the mattress and one box out of 3 arrived, the courier said he wasn't sure why but they would be in touch. I must have tried calling BEDSTAR about 15 times that day and continued calling for days afterwards to no avail... no one answered, they also to date (almost 3 weeks ago) have still not replied to my email. I then called the courier who said they were not sure where the rest of the bed was. We slept on the floor for over a week until the rest of the boxes were delivered, no explanation and no contact from BEDSTAR. Customer service and after sales service is poor to say the least.

Purchased a Birlea bed from retailer Bedstar and after just two weeks i noticed a creeking noise getting worse. Thinking it might just need tightening I tried, but it did not work. I contacted the Bedstar who contacted Birlea who have told me I’ve misused the bed - In two weeks!!! I made the bed in situation and slept in it on my own. They have now refused to do anything except for offer an inspection which i may have to pay for. Despite my statutory rights (under the Consumer Rights Act) which state I’m entitled to a replacement or refund if I report the issue within 30 days. Please reconsider purchasing either a Birlea bed or anything from Bedstar. this is a dreadful company with NO customer service.

Paid extra for delivery on Saturday. Bed did not arrive - issue with delivery company. Had to take unpaid leave from work for delivery on Monday. No response from Bedstar to numerous messages until three days after delivery. Not impressed. Bed arrived with feet, instead of the castors I ordered but can't be bothered to go back to them to sort this out.

Worst company ever dealt with delivered wrong size bed damaged then telling me cant give time to pick up. Lisa Customer service worst ever. Tells me up to 15 days for refund

AVOID! You use the most unreliable and incompetent delivery company known to man! I can’t imagine your products are even worth the hassle, now I’m struggling to even comment on your products seen as though I’ve only received half a bed after 2 failed deliveries! Wishing I had ordered from elsewhere now. Don’t even deserve 1 star

I placed my order a new bed for my kids in September with the understanding delivering will be made in the first week of November. This is clearly not the case. Despite my polite emails to customer services, all I am getting is excuses on behalf of their inadequate suppliers and repeated assurances alternative delivery dates which keep getting delayed without any notice. The most disappointing thing is lack of communication, delay to responding to customer emails and non-existence courtesy calls to customers with updates. I have not bothered calling them directly as strongly feel I would be wasting my time. Do not expect any compensation as they have it covered with there 'live-stock' excuse. If your suppliers are so bad, then why not change them for a sake of reliability and better customer service? I seriously regret making this purchase and I am highly recommending you take your custom elsewhere.

It was my first experience of using Bedstar and I was drawn by the next day delivery option. The website ordering workflow was satisfactory and I was content once my order was processed that everything was in place. It went downhill from there as I was contacted 24 hours later to say the bed that was advertised in stock was in fact not. I then tried to contact the team via email and messaging but did not receive any guidance on my options bearing in mind my time pressures for delivery. When eventually I did get contacted I was advised that I had missed the noon deadline for delivery so it would have to be Monday if I wanted an alternative. Given that I wasn't notified until after noon of their mistake this didn't leave me with any options but to cancel the delivery and look elsewhere for another supplier who can uphold their marketing promises. My advice to anyone requiring a next day (or even next 3-4 delivery) that they look elsewhere.
