bad experience with delivery

When bed arrived and we unwrapped and put it together we had to repair all the drawer runners and screw them on properly. One was so badly bent we had to buy new runner from screwfix and repair it ourselves. Would not buy from here again as never had a reply from them after emailing them after our delivery

Phoned to say I was not happy with the bed as it was not as was portrayed on the photographs. I did not get a good response from yourselves when I complained and now one of the drawers has come off the runners. I have a feeling that you would treat my second problem like the first. And do nothing. Am I correct or will you contact me to discuss the problems I have.

The most disgusting experience from bunch of immature people running a business. Please check the reviews on trust pilot before buying anything from these scammers.

We we mislead by your advertisement were it said single bed but it didnt say the bed underneath what pulls out was smaller then a cit size so this was very disappointing we brought it for my daughter we have never use the pull out bed due to how uncomfortable and how small the bed was so i will not be buying and we did try to ring but no luck no one answered we warnt be buying anything again from bedworld also my family and we have a big family warnt recomend your misleading company bedworld thankyou

I didn’t receive what I had purchased from the website. Was very disappointed with the quality and colour of the mattress as nothing like what I ordered.

Delivery service extremely poor, customer support, when requested, was non existant. Will never buy from this company again, nor will I recommend it to others.

Delivery saga was ridiculous. Pestered them for a date, re-arranged work to make sure i was in only for nothing to arrive. Claimed they called and spoke tp someone which they didnt. Had to chase for another delivery date. Told it would arrive between 08:00 and 17:30 only for it arrive at 21:45. The driver told me he had been working since 04:00! Wouldn't use them again.

Ordered two mattress, one was okay, other was completely different to one ordered and was terrible quality. Company told me it was same as i ordered but was not. Returns process was difficult and resulted in paypal claim

First delivery arrived with faulty manufactured bed. Also complained about poor quality of matress and not matching the description provided online. No reply to my emails. Will never recommend or buy from them again.

The mattress is awful. Supposed to be comforting but it's rock solid even though it told us for our weight it would be soft. The "luxury" memory foam layer is pathetic. Not happy.

First delivery was damaged so cancelled. Second attempt delivered completely the wrong mattress. Wrong spec, wrong size, and they didnt believe us until we sent numerous photos. As it was delivered to a carrier for onward transit to Portugal we could not return it. I certainly wouldn't recommend this company for overseas purchases.

Bought a bed of the website and when it got delivered, it seemed that there was nothing wrong with it so i accepted the delivery. Just my luck that i was leaving on holiday that same day in a few hours so i was not able to put the bed together until after a week when i came back which is when i found the problem. After i finished assembling the bed i put my mattress on it and lied down only to realise that i was sinking low. I took the mattress of to find out that one of the bases for my bed had a huge dent in it and was not flat. I couldn't send it back because it had been over a week since the delivery and i've had to put books and all sorts under my mattress to try and even it out which has been a nightmare.

This was unfortunate. An adjustable bed was ordered for mum who has dementia. The online process, payment and delivery notifications went well. However on the day of delivery I received a call and the driver said I hope you are feeling strong. When asked why he replied there was only one of them on the van and that he would be there shortly. Generally if somebody is buying an adjustable bed there is a reason like bad back etc. Driver turned up in a sign written Bedworld van and he was trying to grab people in the street to get the bed in - the people were declining. I managed to get my sister to help lift the bed. I was furious 1) because the driver was trying to invite strangers into the home of an elderly person with dementia 2) because when the lorry was loaded they would have known that it was a two person plus job so why send one guy! 3) there were no instructions on how to set the bed up 4) the staff had no knowledge on how to set the bed up. When I tried to call later in the day I could get no response from head office it just rang. I called a shop and managed to get the MDs email address. He did come back and I requested that he refund the delivery. However when asked about the set up of the bed he also assumed you just plugged it in. Not the case, I had to get help from elsewhere and there was no way it would have worked with just plug in. You had to take end panels off and then reattach - it wasn't obvious. I did not expect to have to load and unload a lorry when I had paid for delivery to front door.....this one was not even coming off the lorry without our help. It really was not a very nice experience. The bed itself seems fine now set up.

The product and service let down.We had to chase you and chase many times .The bed doesn't look as advertising. I definitely not recommend this company yo anyone.

We had paid for a king size bed first of all it took forever to come into the house it came and it’s flimsy not made properly just got what feels like cardboard in it and there was a hole inside of it from how they were handling it, they also brought the wrong bed it was a double they brought when we pacifically spent more money for a king size but it was too late to try and get in contact with anyone because we had spent hours getting it up staires very poor quality

Awful. Beds are not as described and the returns policy is about charging for inadequate products. The mattress was nowhere near the quality described. The delivery date lied about to retain the sale (having been advised .. it’s ok, thanks any way, I just need the mattress earlier than you can provide it). Bedworld then said they could make the required delivery date after all, but having taken the funds were not contactable when they missed it, keeping to their original date. They blamed a broken van for the delay. Buy a mattress from a reputable company - Argos are much better !
