“Purchase single divan bed with 2 draws for my in May this year. The draws are poor quality. I contacted customer service but no help.”

“I recently bought a mattress from Bedworld and had to wait 2.5 weeks for delivery despite contacting the team to inform them of my urgent need for the mattress. When it was delivered the mattress was soiled with dirt/mud on the outer edge. It was wrapped completely in thick plastic which was intact on delivery. Therefore the soiling had occurred prior to wrapping. As usual I checked the item delivered thoroughly before removing the plastic wrap and noticed the soil damage. I immediately contacted Bedworld to advise of the damage to the mattress and request a replacement urgently. I was advised it would take at least a week to arrange collection and replacement. I explained I could not wait that long on top of the initial wait and asked for a reduction in price as the mattress delivered was not in new condition. After submitting photographs of the damaged area and numerous further emails I was offered a £30 reduction and advised how to clean the soiled area with cleaning products that cost more than £30 not to mention my time it took to clean. Quite frankly it was an insult. Therefore I will not be shopping at Bedworld again.”

“Bed frame has no middle support. Slats don’t fit and no fixings supplied. No action taken by Bedworld. I could go on & on. Do not buy from these cowboys!”

“The mattress itself was heavily discounted and good. However, it was sold as an item which was perfect, not faulty. It was missing one of the advertised handles, which made it very difficult to move as it was very heavy. Bedworld's response was rude and unhelpful to say the least. They have no customer service skills and when I suggested a solution, they refused to answer any communication.”

“We paid for express delivery but didn't arrive as planned. Gave excuses for couriers poor service and then failed to deliver at all and we had to claim a full refund.”

“Waited over month for my purchase, after trying to contact them numerous time (most calls gone unanswered), the times I did get through they kept pushing my delivery date back repeatedly, I then cancelled the order and waited weeks for my refund I was promised. My banks fraud team actually got my refund back for me. I highly recommend NOT using this company”

“There was only one driver who had to carry the very heavy parts to the front door. Carrying such weights must be unhealthy, even when you are strong. After unpacking, I saw the headboard had quite a dent. As it was packed well, and as I was sure I didn't cause it, I think the dent was caused in the factory. I communicated this issue to Bedworld, however they were not very approachable. I found them unprofessional and unfriendly. I did get a small discount, but will never buy from them again. They don't care about the customer, and surely don't care about the driver's back. The bed in itself is pretty and of good quality.”

“They delivered a 50kg bed with one driver, I have a disability and live on the second floor I was told either I help or face to pay for another delivery in order for them to send two people, I had to rely on my neighbours to help bring it up. I wonder how they would send a 50kg with only 1 person.”

“The service is appalling - totally unhelpful. The delivery driver was downright rude. The quality of the bed base is extremely shoddy although the mattress looks ok. I got the wrong base delivered - I ordered a base without drawers as I think drawers weaken the base - but they delivered a base with drawers and were not interested in my complaint, refusing to exchange the product. The bedhead was delivered damaged and with the holes for the screws in the wrong place - again uninterested in the complaint. Finally one of the casters was delivered damaged and bent - I am sure you can guess the reaction from Bedworld!! Avoid this company - they are dreadful.”

“Communication was very bad for arranging a delivery date. I ordered a super king size bed and on the day of delivery only one person turned up so I myself as a female had to carry my own bed into my house. I would not recommend this company at all very poor delivery service”

“after accidentally ordering the wrong item I had absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I wasn't able to return the item to exchange it for the right item. I am afraid I have no trust in Bedworld and would not begin to consider either using them again or recommending them. The one saving grace was a delightful girl in Hull or Grimsby who tried to help but couldn't.”

“First of all I was sent the incorrect bed base and half of the fittings were missing. When I spoke to them they said they would send the fittings to me and offered to pay me £20 compensation for the bed base. I agreed at first as I have a disability and would be an upheaval for me to change beds again. I received the fittings but no compensation. I have sent numerous emails and all have been ignored. Would not recommend this company.”

“Took a day off work for delivery only to be phoned at 4pm to say the lorry had broken?? (Yeh right). Came back on another appointment never rung doorbell and said they had been strange as our cctv never picked them up?? When bed finally arrived the fitting instructions for headboard were ridiculous as all fixing points were covered. It could be made so much simpler, I am still waiting for a return call back from 2 weeks ago from the sales department. It doesn’t matter now as we got a guy from a local bed shop to show us!!!”

“I ordered and paid for a super king size bed and head board and was sent a king size bed and head board! The driver showed me paperwork to show that according to him he was delivering the correct size. I had just moved into a new property and had no bed so had to accept it! So I am now out of pocket, with the wrong size bed, which my bedding doesn’t fit!!!”
