“I bought beer as a gift for a friend as I found a brand with a brilliantly relevant label. But I only needed one bottle. Postage cost more than the single bottle - this would have been a bargain had I been buying a whole crate. Delivery was quick but my one bottle was sent in a box large enough to hold twelve. Shame about the waste of packaging.”

“Ordered 2 boxes of different beers as a gift. Only 1 box arrived but still got an e-mail indicating that my full order had been delivered - nothing mentioned about the missing box. I had to contact Beer Hawk who had to contact the delivery company who said that the 2nd box had been damaged in transit. Beer Hawk sent out a second box which arrived a week later than the first. 2 problems here: 1. Lack of communication between the delivery company and Beer Hawk 2. No urgency from Beer Hawk to get a replacement out”

“Hard to comment when it was so easy. I was kept well informed throughout and the beer arrived as promised. Everything happened as you would want your online orders to progress. Simples.”

“I ordered a number of beers 2 weeks ago. I received a message from Beer Hawk to say my beers had been delivered. However I had only received a part delivery but I was not notified by either Beer Hawk or their courier company when I was expected to receive the outstanding parcel. I had to contact Beer Hawk to request the status of my outstanding order which I was told it was delayed. Its a week later and I still haven't received the order or any notification. I appreciate this is might be a courier issue and perhaps not a direct reflection on Beer Hawks service. However I find the lack of communication frustrating and I would expect as a consumer that my provider would keep me updated. I will be honest and say that this would deter me from ordering from Beer Hawk again.”

“I have used the company a few times for gifts for my husband, each time he really liked the beers. The last order was for our anniversary and when I asked customer service to help suggest beers from certain countries ( I have no idea on beers) they couldn't have been more helpful. Yes they are slightly expensive but can't fault customer service or variety of beers.”
