After my first order arrived within a couple of days and carriers kept informed about delivery times etc....I was very impressed. Second order was the polar opposite. Spent nearly two weeks chasing the order up....eventually did arrive....no contact from courier and left round back of my house....I suspect that the process of expanding and moving to new warehouse has left Beerhawks in chaos. Will not be using again until can see evidence of this being rectified :-(

Hi Tony, Really sorry you had a bad experience as a result of our move - there were a handful of orders that were delivered outside our promised lead times, so i'm very sorry about that. Glad to say we are settled in and orders are going out within 24 hrs in some cases. Regards, Chris

I purchased a Black Belt beer box on 06/10/2016 for a colleagues 40th birthday and was advised by email it would be sent in 3 working days. After having no further response from the company I emailed into them on the 12/10/2016 asking for tracking info as I had not received my order. They did email back on the same day saying that the box was damaged during transit and the beers had smashed. They also said they were getting replacements sent out and would send me a new tracking number. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and was happy to wait for a replacement as these things do happen. It then came to the 21/10/2016 and again I had no communication from Beer Hawk as to where my replacement delivery was. I emailed again asking for an update or I would like a full refund. I never had a response from this email and had to call them to chase up a response. I spoke to a lady on the phone who advised they didn't have any replacement beers to complete the box and asked what I wanted to do. Why had no one got into contact with me when they knew about this? I had to wait an unacceptable amount of time and had to chase this myself to get an answer. The lady on the phone said she would call the warehouse to see if she can get a replacement box sent out. Thankfully, she did call me back and advised it would be sent out that day and would arrive in three working days. It never came in three working days. It arrived on 31/10/2016 soggy with smashed glass in the box and only one intact beer. I called them and told them it was arrived in this state and spoke to the same girl as I did before. When I explained what had happened, she wasn't apologetic or sympathetic to how long I had waited for this order and that I had missed the 40th birthday by weeks, She asked if I wanted beer tokens or a refund and I said the refund. I felt as though she couldn't wait to get off the phone. The packaging it comes in is laughable - the beer are placed into a brown box and that it is. No bubble wrap or anything to protect the glass. No wonder they smashed. I would never use this company again, it took weeks for my order to arrive, I had no communication from Beer Hawk I always had to chase them and I had no apology or gesture of good will, it felt as though they simply didn't care about their customers. Please save your money and do not use this company.

Hi, Sorry you experienced an issue with our stock system. If a product is on the website, it is available in our warehouse unless there has been a stock miscount, Ordering a product that is out of stock should never be possible. Apologies this didn't seem to work properly in your experience. Louise

I have to be honest, my whole experience with Beer Hawk has been appalling. The only plus is that the beers themselves have actually been very good when they have finally arrived. My initial order was messed up, did not arrive and so missed my husbands' birthday - despite the fact that I chased it prior to the expected date of arrival. I bought a 3 month beer club membership. The next month came, still no beer. I had to then chase this up again and again and again. It eventually arrived over 3 weeks late.......to the wrong address..........without the promised compensatory beer tokens I had been assured would be in the box. I am now awaiting my 3rd & final delivery from them, which I am anticipating will not turn up and that i will need to chase. The whole service has just been absolutely shocking and once my final delivery arrives I will be so relieved that I never have to do business with Beer Hawk ever again.

goods 3 weeks late and only part of the order arrived. I've had use paypal to try and get a refund even though beerhawk emailed me to say they would do this.

I still haven't received my ordered I ordered it on the 13th I keep phoning but don't seem to be getting anywhere . Usually very pleased .

Were unable to fulfill my order due to stock issues so had to go elsewhere for the majority of my order. Had to chase up my refund 3 separate times before it was paid back to me. Disappointing service.

There were a number of issues with my order. Firstly that it took a fortnight for my order to arrive, despite being advertised as three working days. When I queried this they said it was due to moving warehouse. Had this been communicated to me at the time of my order I would've been fine with that but I had to chase for that reason. Secondly, when the order arrived, one box was three bottles short. I rang and was told that some of the Oktoberfest beers were out of stock and that was the reason. Why was this not communicated to me again when I placed my order? A partial refund or the opportunity to select other bottles would've been fine at the time of order, but for my order to actually arrive without any warning that I didn't have my full order (but still paying full price) was in my opinion pretty poor customer service. As a positive the beers themselves were tremendous and when raising the issue of missing beers I was given beer tokens by way of compensation. However the lack of communication about the issues would make me think twice about ordering again.

Beerhawk's website promises "standard delivery is within 3 working days, although you will see from our customer reviews that we normally ship much faster!" After a week had passed it took many emails to Beerhawk to chase this up and ended up actually taking 8 working days for delivery. Delivered with two cans of beer missing from the box. Customer services slow to respond in rectifying the matter. Second order in a row from Beerhawk whereby the bottles and cans arrived dusty and sticky.

What started off well with me requesting that the dispatch be delayed due to me being out of country then went downhill. 1st delivery was incomplete, 2nd delivery for missing items was incomplete. No picking slips with orders so no way of knowing what should have been delivered other than checking my order. I have received credit for the missing items but it does not bode well for my first time of using the company. I was made aware of a warehouse move during the order process however this really shouldn't impact the customer.

3 working days for delivery, yeah that didnt happen, more like 8. Got a few generic emails to say they were changing warehouses and this was causing delays, which happens, but even then it was still a shambles trying to get any sort of information from them on when to expect delivery. Logged a few calls to their online responsive helpdesk, again externally managed, 3 days for a very unhelpful reply. Other times no reply at all. They did to be fair they did email a code to all those affected with delivery delays for the cost of standard delivery, sadly even that was mucked up, turned out it wasnt for the stated delivery fee but was actually for half the value. In that email they advised my order would be dispatched within 24 hours, 3 working days later it still wasnt. Numerous calls to their advertised number, which turned out to be a managed call center who had no clue other than being able to check basic order details, all advised they would get the 'head office' to call me back. No calls back. Reason i called was to advise that i would not be at the delivery address the following week and it would need to be redirected. Eventually received a call back near close of business to advise id be getting the delivery the next day to the original delivery address, 2 days after i advised them i wouldnt be there. The really helpful guy on the phone said he would speak to the company delivering and get them to reroute it and call me back the following morning. No call received and then got an email from the delivery company to say it would be delivered to the original delivery address that day. Luckily their delivery system lets you postpone delivery to another day, which i managed to do, so eventually got it 10 days after ordering. Well packaged and beer was all there and accounted for, but wont be using their service again. Yes deliveries/warehouse issues happen but very poor customer service and communication.

A case of beer I ordered for my father took double the advertised delivery time, so my opinion is very poor. The reason given was warehouse relocation after I queried where was the beer? I should have been informed what was happening when Beer Hawk knew of the problem.

First of all I would like to say the quality of beer and the variation that is offered was excellent my main issue was with Beer Hawks customer service. The delivery date was missed by over a week which caused the case of beer not to be available for the event I required it for. I had to chase up Beer Hawk to get a status about when they intended to deliver the goods. Their response was generic and disappointing. I will not be shopping with Beer Hawk again and I will be advising my friends and colleagues to take their business else where.

Paid £4.99 for 3 working day delivery on a Monday. Heard absolutely nothing by Thursday so rang customer services who told me I wouldn't get it in time for my dad's birthday as they were moving office but will get it soon and they will do their best to get it to me Saturday so had to change delivery address. If your having delivery issues because you are moving office maybe it would be wise to tell the customer this once they have made an order. I then Heard nothing all weekend so rang again Monday night, customer services said that they couldn't see the notes on the system added to my account so they would find out and ring me next morning. No phone call Tuesday but that evening get email saying will be dispatched in the next 24hours, next day (24 hours later) get another email saying it will be dispatched in the next 24 hours... I finally get a email the next day saying it's been dispatched but they have dispatched to the wrong address!! I call customer services who ring the courier and manage to get it changed so finally it got delivered Thursday a week later then the 3 day delivery I paid £4.99 for. As a sorry for changing office and messing up my order I got £2.50 worth of beer tokens which is apparently a refund for the £4.99 delivery (great), all I need to do is spend another £4.99 for 3 day delivery and I'll get some more beers within 3 days.... The whole experience was painful but we got there in the end probably. I won't order from them again unless I'm desperate or if order about 2 weeks in advance before I need beers. Ordered beers from another company before who were really good so will use them again next time!

Hi Emma, It sounds like you've had a really bad experience and i'm really sorry for that. The candid truth is that your order was one of a handful that did get caught up in a system issue caused by a warehouse relocation and we didn't deliver your beer fast enough. We did make a refund equal to the delivery charge, so i'm not sure why that's come through as beer tokens, however i'll ensure that is corrected today and the refund made. Apologies again Louise

The beers were great. The beer club deliveries were great. But on two occasions I had to change my saved card details and each time it was a major headache with numerous phone calls and emails. After the second time I gave up and reluctantly cancelled

The delivery didn't arrive within the three days stipulated. Replies to my emails were sporadic (on many occasions certainly not within the 24 hours turnaround stated on the Beer Hawk website). When I finally gave up and asked for the order to be cancelled, they decided they would deliver it after all without replying to me. It turned up a week late and I had to ask a few times for the delivery charge to be refunded. Poor service.

I would love to write a gushing review of the Octoberfest beers that I recently purchased from Beer Hawk, but as they were 'damaged in transit' at the courier's depot, not once, but twice, I am unable to. Especially as, by the time I managed to get some sense from somebody at Beer Hawk, they had sold out of said beers. As an apology, I was given a £10 token to spend on more beer, which I duly did, ordering 2 cases of Fruh Kolsch to replace my now long lost order. After a further fortnight, I enquired as to whether the butter fingered jugglers at the couriers had been using my kolsch for further practice. No, apparently. They had not destroyed another order. This time they hadn't got the right delivery address. Really? I was apologetically told by a different employee that my order would finally be delivered at the start of the following wee.....WHICH IT WAS!!!!! A month and a half after placing the original order. Lordy, lordy hallelujah! Two lessons learned from this. 1 - Beer Hawk's customer service is poor. 2 - Their couriers all have w*nk hands. By the way, the Fruh Kolsch is fantastic.

Day eight now, and my order is still “processing”, Beer Hawk have refunded the postage costs of just over a fiver (in tokens) with a guarantee my order would be dispatched within 24 hours (that was two days ago). So I’m currently £70 down, with no beer to show for it, and by the looks of the recent reviews, not likely to receive my beer any time soon. Beer hawk’s reviews of three stars or less is quickly nearing 10% of their overall reviews, most of these low scores having been posted in recent weeks, I advise Beer Hawk to get their act together, lest they chance sending their company into a spiral from which it will not be able to recover.

Is there anyone there to answer email enquiries? I asked a question three days ago and still no response. The deadline to return my empty PerfectDraft kegs has been and gone all because no-one repsonded C'mon BeerHawk! If you want my repeat business you'll have to up your game as it's a very competitive business out there and judging from dozens of recent negative reviews I'm not the only one feeling cheesed off with the service

Was recommended the site from a friend although so far I am not over impressed. The selection and offers are great although getting the product is not. I ordered the perfect draught machine with keg and gift set which arrived after 5 days despite delivery estimated for 3. Upon opening it it was then noticed the keg had not been delivered. I had to chase beer hawk for the remainder of the delivery to be advised there was a delay on the kegs. (surly this should have been informed prior to delivery). A further 3 days then the keg arrived but still no sign of the gift set. Another 3 calls and 7 days I still am awaiting delivery of the item despite an email informing it was lost by the courier and would be with me in 24hrs. Wouldn't recommend unless you are prepared to wait and definitely wouldn't advise buying a gift for someone as the odds of getting it in time seem slim.
