“Having read so many reports of Beer Hawks demise AFTER placing my most recent order I feared the worse. Thankfully the beers turned up over 2 days, the first part only 2 days from ordering. I had no e-mail notification, but luckily one was left in a safe place, the second I was in to take delivery of. As usual the beers are wonderful, it was only the communication that was lacking this time, hopefully something they can resolve.”

Hi Timbo, unfortunately our customer service elves have been dealing with a high number of requests recently. This was due to our recent warehouse move which we are now settled in to. We're back up and running at our usual speedy service now so you shouldn't have any further issues. Glad the beers got to you on time and you're enjoying them! Thanks for the review. :)

“I know there have been warehouse issues however I ordered my latest supply at around 14.00hrs yesterday and it was delivered this morning at 09.50hrs. I was not expecting it until Monday next week. Best service yet - keep it up!”

“Beer selection is great. Not for the first time the order arrives split. This time three separate deliveries. This is such a waste of resources. An option to group all deliveries is desirable for those of us with a green conscience. This time for the first time order was 2 weeks late and was chased by me. Quick and helpful response from Tors saw it resolved. Selection of beers, packaging and website all great though.”

“A special german beer, jever beer, has always been my favourite. My son discovered he could order it from you and sent me a box for my birthday some months ago - a real surprise! so i decided a few weeks ago to order myself some more. the order was dispatched in two boxes. the first arrived reasonably promptly after four days, but the driver told me the other box got wet and he could not deliver it as there may have been damage. after calling beerhawk, the second box was delivered (about 10 days after placing the order), neatly taped up. one bottle had indeed been broken, but was kindly replaced by seven (!) miscellaneous bottles. so, in spite of the problems with that second box, i feel i was treated very well and kindly. :) thank you beerhawk - i will gladly order more from you and recommend you to others! cheers! douwe korff”

“As with other reviews below, I did encounter an issue with my Perfect Draft machine and keg order, with the keg being delayed. However, I have to say I encountered no problems whatsoever with communicating either via email or telephone to the people at Beer Hawk, they were first class throughout, gave good honest answers to my queries and eventually helped with resolving the situation satisfactory. I have already made a second purchase with them and everything went smoothly this time.”

“Ordered a beer hamper for a birthday treat. Beer hawk emailed me a few days later saying that there had been a delay. I was worried that it was the start of a battle, but am pleased to say the beers were delivered on my nephew's birthday and he says he's very happy with them!”

“Ordered two boxes - they arrived separately but very quickly (3-4 days). One beer was missing in the first box but the team arranged a refund the same week. I would recommend.”

“Got a mixed case, just one 'bad' beer so far, unsure if it was off but tasted like vinegar! Rest have been a treat and offer beers that we have not had before with a good variety of style and traditional/ modern tastes. Overall very good, won't name the beer in case I just had a one off, gone off.”
