delivery has not happened, I called but nobady answers, I sent e-mails and no reply. My only option is to call my bank and stop payment. Terrible service, no customer support at all.

Hi, sorry you feel that way, Unfortunately, when you called we are not open on weekends. We do usually have to wait for DHL to confirm details on the delivery as we do not work directly with them and we refunded you for said order as soon as the issue was flagged.

Placed order 19th Dec still had not arrived by 29th no explanation or apology received by far and away the worst service I’ve ever received certainly advise not to use this company if your wanting a quick order.

Hi David, we are very sorry about this, Obviously, due to Christmas time off, and festive trading hours, we could only chase up orders when we were back in the office, we do our best to rectify issues raised, especially with DHL delivery issues as soon as possible.

Ordered a second lot of my favourite beer. Unfortunately Beer Merchants only use DHL. DHL are a shambles, complete and utter, incompetent, disinterested, shambles. Even as writing this dire review, their website tells me my beer is out for delivery... I accept things go wrong but it's how Beer Merchants have responded that has made the non delivery 100 times worse. I have emails explaining that this happens EVERY SINGLE DAY with DHL and yet they refuse, yes refuse to try to make it better for customers. They know DHL automatically cut off phone calls, they know DHL never answer customer emails and yet all their advice is is to contact them. Frankly Beer Merchants are worse than DHL due to refusing to ship via a competent courier or look for an alternative. If you like beers that Beer merchants purport to sell then take a picture of the bottle and stick that in your fridge as, in my experience, that's as close as you'll ever come to it with Beer Merchants.

Hi, sorry you had a bad experience shopping with us, as you have acknowledged DHL doesn't always get the order out and these issues do happen considering the amount they deal with on a day to day basis, again as soon as we learn of these issues we try in a timely and helpful manner to rectify as soon as we can, albeit it via a refund or re-order!

Placed order for 6 Paulaner Oktoberfest sets and only 5 arrived. No answer to email or PayPal escalation and phone disconnects when you attempt to ring.

Great choice of Belgium beers but delivery arrived with 6 bottles missing. Customer service telephone number is never answered and no response from email and online queries.

Disappointed first and last ordering from this company. Not living up to their own hype online. Placed order on the 6th April, no order received by today the 12th. I've had no response to my email and when I rang the telephone number a voicemail message told me to ring back later. Also, unable to track the order from their site. This was a birthday present for my husband but unfortunately that was on the 10th April much too late now.

Very poor customer service experience. They gave me the run around over the course of several days (probably hoping that I would give up), and finally admitted in the end what the issue was but that they wouldn't be sorting it for me. Otherwise a decent selection of beers, but they made it clear they don't value my business.

Web site is almost non-functional for mobile use. Cannot use navigation to country pages, always goes to Belgium....

Placed an order on Oct 26, 2020, it shipped on Nov 16 to Denmark, and I still haven't seen it. The order was for an event on Nov 28-29. I've emailed costumer service numerous times without any actual response other than "we'll look into it..." or similar. I've told them I want to cancel the order, but still haven't seen a refund. Use this service with caution!

Very poor customer service and not interested in your issues. Took up there Delirium offer prior to Xmas 9 bottles + a free glass. Beers arrived late but no glass. They said it must have been overlooked when packing but refused to send the glass out separately. Utter con as there was no way the glass could have fitted in the same box as the beers, the box was full. Do not use.

Cancelled my order two days in because they claim they have an issue with the carrier they use for shipping to Sweden. So use another carrier? Customer is paying for it anyway right? Nope, they weren't even interested in solving it. Really disappointing.

Very poor customer service and even worse communication. Several emails regarding an incomplete order unanswered. No answer on the phone. Beers listed as in stock when ordered then not available and no advance notice prior to delivery so that order could be amended.

Too expensive. Oktoberfest beers are cheaper from Majestic Wines (Paulaner only) or import direct from Germany. I would love to support you but you are too expensive.

Thank you for your review. We at Beer Merchants are an independent family owned business and it sometimes difficult for us to compete with other companies on their prices. We do however do our best to review prices and compete as best we can.

I ordered the untapped festival box and a few other beers on the 18th of October (order number 100135031). It is now the day of the festival 28th November and still don't have my order. I have contacted customer service 4 times and noone can give me an answer. Where is my order? Never had such bad service from an online beer store before. Ordered from trembling madness on Wednesday and got my order on the Friday so at least I have some beers for the festival tonight even tho its not the ones I am suppose to have.

The courier firm you choose to use; apc overnight; for 2 days running have given me a window for delivery and although via the live tracker have been with in less than 1/2 a mile from my home, they have failed to deliver my parcel, and now give no tracking advice.

Ordered a box of beer which came in at over £50 for my partner’s 40th birthday. I ordered over a week before the day and 10 days later, I’m still chasing the order. I used the ‘contact us’ service on their website yesterday and heard nothing. I called the number this morning and spoke to someone who said they’d find out what happened and as of 5pm today, still nothing. It’s hugely disappointing. I’d picked out all my partner’s favourite beers for his special day and I’m pretty upset that they haven’t even taken the time to get back in touch promptly. I had to give at least 1 star to leave this review but that’s generous based on their customer service so far
