These Guys are usually awesome , bit of a delay on delivery but under the circumstances that is fine.. my main issue is they part refunded me with no contact as to why and I just receive my order one can short with it still on the invoice in the box with no explanation. slightly disappointing

I've been a long time customer of BM and for the most part they are great and have a decent range. My only gripe with all online beer sellers is the peddling of out of stock items just to help thier SEO rankings. It's pretty frustrating to see a load of interesting and new or classic beers all out of stock. It's weird complaint that all online booze sellers are guilty of.

I tried to cancel my order within the designated timescales (Having lost my job last week) and by using their online form. The first attempt was ignored and the second the response was “sorry but it’s too late and the order had already shipped”. No complaints with the product but thought they could have responded more promptly.

The rating would be 5/5 but there was a beer missing from my order. Also there was a random amount refunded to my c-card that wasn't the amount of the missing beer and there was no correspondence to explain why. I fully appreciate that these are very hard times so it will not stop me using Beer Merchants in the future.

Paid for and ordered 12 beers. Only received 8. Customer services refunded difference. Would have preferred to know when ordering there weren’t 12 available to I didn’t over pay and effectively lose the discount.

Order was correct except for 4 beers, they sent me 4 different ones instead. I’ve emailed them and am still waiting for a response.

Half of the delivery was damaged in transit, so Parcelforce said they’d return it. Spoke to Beermerchants, went through items missing and I was told it’d be sent out that day, with it being with me a couple of days later. Waited several days and still not arrived - called them again and had to talk to 3 different people to sort out properly - in which I was supposed to receive a call back but didn’t, had to chase them again. Shopped with them a few times over the years, but this was the first time in a while. Based on this experience I probably wouldn’t again, but knowing how busy they are at present and knowing what type of service they are capable of giving, I might give them another try in the future.

Part of my order was changed due to stock shortage. Substituted items were of a lesser value and after subsequent query I was given a gift card in compensation which effectively covered the difference + a little extra for my trouble. Very swift service but the packaging and protection was inadequate for my particular consignment in my opinion, or at least for the carrier. The cardboard box was partially open on arrival and had suffered breakages within. Replacement items were promptly sent to me though.

Ordered 6 bottles of Paulaner beer and paid an extra £12 for a Saturday delivery because Monday to Friday I work away from home. Two days after I placed my order I received a text message from Royal Mail saying they had attempted to deliver my order and this was on a Tuesday. The person I spoke to at Beer Merchants about this was very helpful and I received my order on the following Saturday. This has been the first time I have used Beer Merchants and I would have given you 5 stars if it wasn’t for the delivery date mix up.

Excellent and prompt delivery. Loved some of my beers. However 7 out of the 15 beers were 6 months out of date. I have notified the company by two means of communication but yet to hear anything back. Shame as without this blip it would have been a 5* review

Ordered 18 bottles of beer from them, but only 10 delivered! When I go into my account is says order completed, so I emailed them to let them know I only had part delivery, but no response so far 😡

Extensive selection of beers, a bit expensive compared to other websites in Europe. Shipping is expensive but understandable due to cost and distance, the only real bad thing is the way mine was packaged. Addition of chips would have been nice to avoid beers moving in the cart. The result was upside down & slightly damaged cans. Thankfully I only had cans and no glass bottles. Also the cartbox was slightly opened on the top, they're probably not using the best tape. Still enjoying the beers I ordered though.

I like beer merchants alot. Always fast and easy shipping always arrives well pack. However on the website it's annoying that hardly any of the beers are in stock. I think the site needs an in stock list to save disappointment

Ordered the best beers ever but unfortunately the beers themselves were quite flat and had hardly any bubbles/gas left in them when they arrived.

The selection of beers is good, however the postage facility was hugely frustrating. The package was sent by signed for delivery, and as we are not at home during normal delivery hours we knew we would need to change this. There was no facility to amend the address, and once the package had had an attempted delivery, there was no card left so we didn't know how to get it rearranged. After several frustrating days, we finally had to go and collect the package from a distribution centre. I would recommend you change your courier services as it has now put us off ordering anything more from you in the future.

I really really don't like how Beer Merchants release beer. They build so much hype and are not able to deal with it. That said, if you are lucky enough to get through the prices are reasonable and delivery is swift
