Douglas gave good customer service when I got through to cancel my subscription; I can't say the same for the company overall though - a long wait to get through on the phoneline when it would be very easy to make cancellation available online. Also your courier left my order on the street?! Disappointing.

Douglas was great when I finally got through to cancel my subscription. However, I feel that the cancellation process is deliberately made to be as difficult as possible. Firstly, you can only cancel once you've received your first pack (why?) and then you have to call - you cannot cancel online. This feels manipulative and cynical. Please don't say in your marketing material that it's easy to cancel your subscription - it isn't. Online cancellation would be easy, not sitting in a queue on the phone.

Interesting beer selection but the cancellation process is dreadful. The only way to cancel your subscription is to call their number. I called twice, and gave up because I was waiting for over 30 minutes both times...!! This really frustrated me and led to them taking another payment as I wasn't able to cancel in time. Third time trying to cancel after this I was waiting for 20 minutes, FINALLY got through to someone who then made the process worse by asking my reasons for leaving and trying to convince me to stay. The product is good, but I totally lost trust in this company due to how laborious and difficult it is to cancel with them.

Tried to postpone cases but this request was ignored. Then had to spend half an hour in a queue to talk to someone. My mind was made up by this, rather than the nice chap, Douglas, I spoke with on the phone. Have cancelled. Don’t see me coming back.

Delivery ignored instructions. Left box on front steps, so was inevitably stolen. Not really beer52 fault (I think) but will never use someone who uses yodel, they are consistently terrible.

Nothing wrong with the product or service (Douglas Munro was particularly excellent on the phone) it's simply the practice of having someone ring up to cancel the subscription. It's very transparent and not a very consumer-friendly business practice, it made me not want to consider extending a membership because of the hassle that would come if I ever did want to cancel. Especially as the phone lines are only open during hours when I'm at work. I had credit remaining and could have got a cheaper box, which I more than likely would have taken if it were not for this policy. I wouldn't recommend it to friends either due to this, I know it's not worth being on hold for 15 minutes.

Beers were alright although a bit expensive. Canceling is a nightmare, need to call only to be stuck on hold with a very unenthusiastic man advertising various beer types. No other ways to cancel sub so be careful

Some good beers, some bad beers. But nothing as bad as trying to cancel. Have to call, if you’re lucky enough to get on hold, which took me at least 10 attempts, you’re forced to listen to a painfully annoying man talk about something that even he doesn’t sound interested in. Oh and £24 a month is far too much.

Can't fault the beer. But I'm not a massive drinker and buy from supermarkets too. Tried to cancel but you have to phone them. The automated message says they're phone is busy and to hold but it cuts you off. You need to cancel 3 days before your next delivery but their email response time is 4 - 5 days. You can pause the subscription for 1 month but will need to phone to pause any longer. They're an Internet based company, It shouldn't be this difficult to cancel. I would have restarted deliveries in my own time, but not now.

very very difficult to cancel the subscription. Avoid if you can. Had to wait for 40 mins to be connected. Didn't like the taste of Beer and feel it's overpriced for what you receive.

Angus on the phone was nice and sounded helpful. I feel it a overpriced beer, and company makes it very difficult to cancel subscription. Had to wait 40 mins on phone to be connected. i gave 2 stars for the guy on the phone but 0 for company.

Extremely poor value for money and having to phone in to cancel a subscription feels like a cheap trick. Hermes delivery is appalling in the best of times so that's another minus there. Alright support from Beer52 despite the Covid lockdown so gain an extra stare.e

Good beer, however they wrap you in a subscription service which is near impossible to break out off, as they don't respond to emails or pick up the phone. When I did speak to someone they refused to cancel my subscription as I was in credit. They have continued to charge me and wont let me cancel. I've had to contact my bank to stop they taking payments

I guess the beer is all about personal taste but only half were drinkable. Its expensive at £29 for 10 330ml beers. You have to call to cancel as can't do it online and this involves at least 20 mins on hold first. Would not recommend I'm afraid
