As a product of all the different beers most were not to my palate at all a couple I couldn't finish, one or two were OK but they would not be beers I would seek out to purchase. The wines however were better and I have enjoyed most, I'm not though a big wine drinker? I decided to cancel both subscriptions and 3mailed general enquiries, Natalie 5* was very helpful and got issued sorted very quickly. Customer care excellent, thanks.

Customer service 5* when I actually spoke to somebody. The first time I rang it took 15 minutes to speak to someone and then cut out straight away. I rang back straight after for another 15-20 minute wait. I also asked if my account could be cancelled after the next "christmas delivery". However I was told I would have to ring up again following this to cancel again. Because of the poor experience I decided to cancel straight away today.

I enjoyed trying the selection of beers every month or so. The novelty wore off after a couple of deliveries. I also wanted to drink less. Had it not been for being on hold for over 15 minutes to simply cancel my membership I may of been more inclined to take up the option of receiving beers every three months but I wasn’t in the mood by the time the phone was answered.

The team at Beer 52 are very supportive. The occasions I have had to be in touch both Angus and Patrick were extremely helpful. Ultimately I found the novelty of some of the sweeter beers I was recieving left me with too many unwanted cans at the end of every month.

Generally a good service but my last order hasn't turned up. Staff are friendly but it is very difficult to get through on the phone, tried 5 times in three days (20 minutes ringing). Email response is fairly slow. Set aside that Douglas was very helpful on the phone and dealt with the current issues.

Three stars needs an explanation - The beer from Beer52 is 5 stars. The customer service I recieved from Douglas was 5 stars. However the reason for my call to customer service means I cannot give the whole experience 5 stars - until I spoke to Douglas the rating would have been 1 star (despite the excellence of the beers) - Douglas' excellent, empathetic and efficient customer service pulled the overall rating back up. I contacted customer service to cancel my subscription because of the truly appalling delivery service from Hermes. The don't turn up, they are untruthful about not turning up, they regularly damage packages. Douglas was very helpful changing to a different courier service and providing support to assuage my irritation. He was empathetic, appropriately placating and provided practical solutions to my issues, he provided reassurance and recapped all the steps and actions we had agreed on - top job Douglas.

Customer service is good - when you can finally get through. Not good that you are on hold for so long before speaking with a human. Whay can subscription cancellations be done online?

Great beers and staff very helpful. I appreciate these are craft beers and they are super tasty, but they are just a little too expensive in my eyes for a subscription.

Can't fault Beer52's customer service. Just got off the phone with Douglas - he was cheerful and helpful when I wanted to cancel my subscription. Sadly I couldn't recommend Beer52 to anyone beyond the most casual beer enthusiast with deep pockets. The beers were pleasant, though, like many "craft" beers, samey with the flavours disguised by unjustifiably high ABV. At £3 for a small can or bottle, they're not an attractive proposition. Most home drinkers would be far better off looking to buy from their local brewery directly, which I've found usually works out at £3-4 a litre.

Nice pleasant company let down by Hermes couriers who left my case of beer outside on my doorstep for 2 days after I was away working all week.

Great beers with an introductory offer. Only issue is not being able to manage the subscription online and having to call in to cancel.

Beer52 is great beer but a bit expensive for me, otherwise I would continue. Douglas was very polite on the phone and did valiantly try to get me to stay but I couldn't justify the prices. I would pass on to anyone else interested in trying something new.

Not my taste in beer but others will like them. Voted down due to having yo phone up to cancel. In 2021 you shouldn't have to ring someone to cancel especially on standard office hours.

Matt was friendly and helpful. Persuaded me to stay one more month for a 50% reduction in subscription fee. After that though I will leave. The beer is good on the whole but the selection includes sweet beers flavoured with something I don't want in a beer i.e. black forest gateau. Pricewise It works out about £5 a pint, which is fine in a pub. I don't know if it's fine at home, especially when you can buy a bottle of Lagavulin 16 for £50 that will last you a couple of months (if you're not an alcoholic) and is truly special. Also I don't like the fact that I have to ring up to cancel my subscription. They have very friendly customer service so beware! You may never leave!

Good beers but too pricey for me. For example I can get any version of brew dog for just over a pound a can and they are similar tasting if not so exotic. Great for the real enthusiasts but too much for me. Very friendly staff, Douglas handles my cancellation and was friendly and polite, asked how I got on and offered me a deal, but, as above it's not for me personally. KR Jason
