The beers are fine but i don't believe you get your money's worth. The majority of beer is in small cans and those that come in bottles tend to be bottle conditioned so you can't drink the whole bottle. A lot of the beers are cloudy, a.k.a cheaper manufacturing process and, in my eyes, lazy brewing that adds nothing but has been made fashionable by clever marketing.

Douglas was happy to cancel my subscription quickly and efficiently. I cancelled as the beer was generally quite pricey compared to the vast choice I have at my Booths supermarket. It was worth a try though.

I ENJOYED SAMPLING DIFFERENT BEERS. I FOUND DOUGLAS AND THE STAFF PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. THERE SHOULD BE A FACILITY OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS, AS MYSELF AND AM SURE OTHERS FIND IT DIFFICULT TO BE ON HOLD AT WORK, I AM A COMMUNITY NURSE SO HAVING TO BE ON HOLD FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME IS VERY INCONVENIANT.

It took a few tries and a while on hold to get through, but then Douglas was friendly and helpful in cancelling my subscription quickly. I’ve enjoyed my membership but don’t need it at the moment.

Some of the beers were nice, others not so. Overall expensive for what it is. Douglas very polite, helpful and understanding with me wanting to cancel. So can not fault him however a long 20 minute delay in the phone being answered which is annoying. Why not be able to cancel through the web site? You could save money with less staff or answer phone more quickly to customers you haven't already lost!!!!!

Wait time for connection to customer service is is too long (21 mins) I wanted to cancel and Douglas did his best to retain my custom as is his job So no problem with that. He was polite and no hint of pressure which can really put you off a company. My 2 star rating is purely down to the length of wait.

Good beers and fairly easy to manage your subscription online. The only problem, though, is that you have to ring up and wait on hold in order to cancel the subscription. Douglas, however, was very helpful on the phone once I got through and I especially appreciated how he wasn't too pushy with the offers tempting me to keep my subscription going.

beer was good for the price, good variety you dont see at supermarkets. douglas was informative and not pushy when it came to cancelling

Tried it for something different but wasn’t for me. Takes ages to cancel though which is frustrating but was easy to do so when you speak with a member of staff on the phone.

Only after ordering beer did I discover that Beer52 use Hermes for delivery. Had I known this before I would not have subscribed, as I have always found them extremely unreliable. True to form, the beer arrived a day late and was left on my doorstep in the pouring rain and in full view of any passer-by. I would rather have been able to cancel my subscription online but in the event I found Douglas to be very pleasant and helpful.

Douglas was friendly and helpful - gave a fourablemimpression... My frustration is not with him but with the model Beer52 employ. They advertise ‘easy to cancel at any time’ however deliberately don’t allow you to do this on line. They force you to call them (took 3 calls and extended waiting on hold). All of which makes me very grumpy. I get they have a subscription business model and lots of others also make it hard for you to change/cancel, but how about bucking this trend and doing something refreshingly simple, and not deploying this really irritating and slightly offensive business practice...

Excellent choice of beer for beer lovers but I am more of a wine drinker; my beer-drinking son signed me up! Sorry that it's not really for me but Douglas was friendly and efficient about my cancellation.

Beer delivery was exactly as described and pretty good. Did however feel that getting people to sign up to a subscription through an offer on Untappd, which was not fully clear, was entirely fair or honest. I didn't even realize I had subscribed until the second delivery showed up. Douglas was lovely and really helpful in helping me to cancel my subscription when I called. However sitting on hold for 10 minutes first wasn't exactly appreciated. Would much rather have been able to cancel through the website.
