This Company offers no way to cancel their subscription box. They don't answer e-mails or phones. I would not recommend them at all. Be warned, They actively scour review sights and flag negative reviews for deletion. They also have a suspicious amount of 5 star reviews from new users to combat the negativity. I have reported them for fraud.

I can't recommend a company that makes it horrendously difficult to cancel. The practice of making it easy to sign up, hard to cancel should be illegal and I'm frankly disappointed a company which can appear 'cool' and does genuinely deliver great beer has such shady practices.

Never had any issues with delivery, referral to friends, or anything else. I had stopped my subscription for a bit as I was unemployed, but was so happy to start again! Saved a few boxes to share with the family over Christmas and everyone loved the beers.

I subscribed just for the “free” beers, with the intention to cancel straight after. Couldn’t get hold of anyone on the phone, so emailed them and blocked all future payments via the bank. To their credit, they did respond to my email and cancelled as per my request, but their written policy of cancelling by phone (that they don’t answer) is not going to win them any favours. The beers were ok, but certainly not worth the ongoing subscription fee. I’d get better beers down the supermarket/off license for much cheaper. I’d advise anyone struggling to cancel to simply call your bank and block all future payments.

Beer ordered but never delivered and then no replies to emails, messages or calls. Automated messages stating I cant cancel my subscription until the beer is received. Still waiting 10 days after ordering. Do not trust this company.

They make it really easy to subscribe, but you can only cancel by phone during the week, then they charge you at 2AM in the morning and pretend they've already packed and prepared your box before 9AM so you cannot cancel it. Anything to charge people for another box...

Cancelling is very difficult. You have to ring a premium rate number that they keep you on hold for. SCAM!!!

Thanks to Douglas for his engagement during my call to cancel my current subscription. He made a number of offers and alternatives to try and keep me on board and as I stated I will return at a later date.

I love the beers and the selection, had a great chat With Angus over the phone just now. My only problem with them is that while I love all types of beer I can't order the mixed box because of an allergy to dairy, of course, I know Beer52 is a small company so it's tough to address that need at the moment, just would love to see that addressed at some point in the future.

AVOID. They sent me a beer with broken glass in it. When I complained they offered me £5 off - this is ridiculous for a dangerous product (you can get £5 off by just clicking “I want to cancel on their website”) it also appears to be impossible to cancel on their website and instead you need to have a lengthy phonecall. Clearly this is a company that does not care about the customer.

The beers weren’t anything special, the idea of beers delivered to your door great, but when you need to cancel your subscription, problems begin, it’s not that easy. First you answer a lot of questions and pop ups then your told to phone them to cancel. Then you get stuck on answer phone for over 10 minutes at a time. Not good customer service.

Beer52 do not let you cancel online. You have to call them and not only they do not answer the phone but they keep on taking your money. Be aware that this is not a direct debit that you can cancel rather you have provided them them your debit card details and allowed them to take money from your account. I guess the easy way is to call the bank and ask them to stop any payments to them. These guys should be shut down.

After cancelling my subscription, going through loads of internet pages and then having to ring I received an email saying "Wohoo your beer is on it's way". I phoned up immediately to say I had cancelled but was told because I can't prove i called, the subscription was still active. Why is the onus on the customer to prove they phoned rather than on the company to prove they didn't? They wanted me to provide a screen shot of the number dialed from my phone, as my number is hidden their end so they can't see it. But my records don't go back that far. Why on earth can't Beer52 take an email or online cancellation? So we, the cherished customer, have a record of the cancellation. It seems to me that they are behaving underhandedly to keep their subscriptions. My advice to potential customers is don't sign up unless you are willing to sign up for the rest of your life!

Awful customer service over the phone! I got hung up on because I wanted to cancel my subscription so I had to phone back and start the process again, and again, the man on the phone was very rude!

absolute rubbish customer service, told them i wanted to cancel, still sent beer out !! then told me if i refuse delivery i will be charged, even though days ago i had emailed them cancelling..... Don`t get caught out, shop elsewhere

Totally shocking. Ordered beer over a week ago and still not arrived! The Courier they used for delivery seems to have lost my order. However no one at Beer 52 seems to want to request a replacement pack of beer even though they concede it has been lost. Customer Service staff do seem friendly but they are not coordinated and noone takes responsibility for my situation or wants to go the extra mile for the Customer which is genuinely disappointing.
