Easy to subscribe to their service online. When it comes to cancelling, they get you to fill in several questions tempting you to stay and then when you finally get to the end, you have to call to cancel the subscription. I have been on hold for 15 minutes and still waiting on hold. Wish me luck.

They are a subscription base business. It's fair, you get a trail from some junkmail in a box with another company and are charged for further orders until you battle the phone system for someone to finally pick the phone up. I cancelled as the product didn't really suit my tastes, the target market is not me. I'm sure other may love it. With that, a polite cancellation and explanation I didn't want a special offer for a product I didn't love should have been it... It's frustrating for a company to insist on cancellation via phone and not accept email - it's just a ploy to give retention offers. It should be as easy to cancel as it is to sign up, that would be fair. I cancelled, and it was stopped. I received excessive marketing emails and a few sales calls. I unsubscribed to the emails and got more emails. I then got marketing calls with promotions, I asked to be removed from the marketing list. I sent a formal Right to Erasure request, following the ICO guidelines in line with their GPDR obligations. I get more emails, plus physical mail. It's very frustrating, leave me in peace!

Extremely difficult to cancel subscription. Appalling, bullying customer service (and the beers are mostly IPA's) Impossible to cancel online (check their website to see), nor by email, they don't reply. Cancelation is only by phoning, requiring a long time on hold listening to their advertising. When they answer they do a hard sell, and everything to avoid cancelling membership. Under no circumstances trust the major UK newspaper advertising to subscribers which states "There’s no minimum commitment – you can just take the free case, try the beers and see what you think. If it’s not for you, you can pause or cancel anytime". This is untrue, it is incredibly difficult to cancel with them. They will bully you. When I eventually got to speak to someone there and said I had no time to talk about the beers because I was busy and just wanted to cancel, he lost his temper and hung up. I found email addresses for 7 of their managers / founders on their website. I emailed them all asking for an explanation as I wanted to be reasonable. I didn't get one single reply. I'm writing this to save others from this horrible experience. At all costs, do not succumb to them, you will regret it.

DO NOT USE. SCAM This company is built on making it impossible to cancel and failing to make it clear that theyll take random £30+’s after you make an £8 order. It’s quite clear they take advantage of customers.

Garbage! Was given a gift voucher as part of a present. After emailing and tweeting I have now managed to get my beers ordered. Took three days. God knows when I'll get them. Even though it's a gift I've had to upload bank details and subscribe. I will 100% cancel after the 24 hours they advise.

This is not a very professional company. I paid for the first box and back on 10 October and it has not arrived. every time I contact the company to enquire about the missing box, they tell me to wait another week. After a week goes by, they send me a new box, but the new box NEVER arrives either. They have shipped the box to me 3 times now. And each time the box is "lost in transit" But they had no problem taking my money, but they have not sent me the box. I can only share my personal experience. The people on the phone seem nice, but that still does not give me the wine that I have paid for. Ive been waiting since 10th October for the wine. I have all the proof via email of the customer service interactions and the tracking links to yodel and Evri, that lead to nothing. Today is 16 of November and still no wine. What a shame, how a company can run like this, in my personal opinion I don't see this company lasting. Please do not tell me to email you at your support email, I have already done that countless times, and you still don't send me the wine I HAVE PAID FOR. I will be posting this review to Instagram, twitter, and other social media.

Been a loyal member for years. Have got £57 to use on beers but i have to pay for beers then they give half the discount. This is not on. Been on hold for a number of hours. This is not on!! I wanted what was rightly mine and want to cancel!! Absolutely disgusting!

cannot cancel subscription online, cannot cancel over email, try to phone and I cant get through. They keep calling me upto 5 times a day and I keep telling them on email I CANNOT ANSWER THE PHONE during 9am - 5pm as I work in a school. they keep phoning me, keep phoning me, however they can never reply to an email???? Just reply to my email. cancel my subscription. or even better let me do it myself.

This company seem to have fantastic customer service when everything is fine and they're taking your money. However, when you need to cancel they make it extremely difficult to do so. We also had a very rude customer service representative who was not at all bothered that we had been unfairly charged and did not seem at all interested in trying to keep us as customers. There are so many great craft beer companies now, we'll give our money to a company who appreciate their customers and is transparent and honest! Update: Emailed them to complain about their customer service worker and as expected received no reply. I spoke with my stepfather who also signed up for the service. He said he enjoyed the beers but" it's a nightmare to stop the deliveries and they take any little opportunity to still send you a box and charge you". It seems that all the negative reviews here are for the same reason.

Entirely dishonest in the way that they offer a free trial (but you have to pay for it) that is easy to cancel (but is almost impossible to cancel). Complete scam.

Worst service I have ever come across. Recommended a friend for both the beer and wine club promised free case of beer and wine, several boxes later I still never received the free Beers and wines even after several calls to customer services. Just get fobbed off all the time. Promised to get sorted but haven't so cancelled my subscription today. So has my friends subscription too Beers extremely overpriced there are better websites than this so DONT SUBSCRIBE

Try to cancel and they just don't give up trying to keep you there. 15 minute call trying to explain why I wasn't interested, I ended up hanging up on them

Shayn was very helpful in sorting out my missing order. The delivery company have lost my package and when I contacted customer service, they immediately sent out a replacement. They also set my next delivery to skip, so that I did not get too many boxes too close together. Really pleased, so far.

Employing dark UX patterns to make it incredibly difficult to cancel your subscription is shady. I probably would have kept my subscription but having experienced the deliberate effort made to prevent you from transparently managing your account, I no longer wish to do business with them.

The customer service support are useless I tried to see if they would assist with changing my email. That appeared to difficult which is the reason I want to stop this subscription now. And now i have to go through them via email or phone and they can't either answer the phone nor reply to emails.

I ordered Beer52 and recently ordered wine and it's lovely, set up so I can alternate my boxes and never miss out, they were more than helpful when I emailed Beer52 and set it all up, can't wait for my beers now that are coming soon.
