“Be careful buying here. I attended a pop up shop and where told you still have to order online. I didn't fit the shoe I loved (wide feet)but the designer found my an alternative pair that did. My shoes arrived damaged with scratches and cuffs on the satin and sole. I've send it pictures and videos to be told that my shoes are not damaged. I asked for a discount or free returns label as I'm a UK customer. The designer was lovely at the pop and the shoes are beautiful which is why it's not a 1 star. However for a £400 pair of shoes I'd expect them pristine. Buyers beware the customer service and support is dire.”

“The shoes are beautiful. But, after wearing around the house for a few hours, I noticed the bottoms started peeling off. I reached out and was told it was because the plastic was not removed prior to wearing them, but the plastic was removed before use and I expressed this. Although, the shoes beautifully made, I would not recommend when you factor in the price of these heels and quality. I think it’s important to note this because this happened after a couple hours of wear around the house, now if you factor in how they would look after a day use, ect, I’m not convinced they would hold up.”

“Extremely expensive, slow service, and poor quality control. They are beautiful-but inconsistent. I received the first pair with 4+ missing rhinestones, did an exchange (took 2 weeks or more to receive), and the new pair is still missing a rhinestone. Not what you would expect at this price point.”

All of our shoes are handmade with the highest quality materials and thoroughly stress-tested to ensure they are long-lasting. “Really uncomfortable shoes. I don’t think I will be wearing this for my wedding. I was offered a store credit or exchange, but really not willing to get another one. Paid a huge amount for custom fees as well.”

We have since been able to upgrade our shipping options for our international customers and customs fees are included with the price so there are no surprise fees upon delivery.

“The shoe looked gorgeous but the ankle strap would not close. The first hole was too far into the strap, which made the fit too tight. I am 5'4", 140 lb, and wear a 7.5, so my feet are average. It was an extremely disappointing experience.”

“I think these shoes were so beautiful and this was definitely the splurge of my accessories for my wedding, but sad to say these were some of the most painful shoes I've ever worn. I wore them for my ceremony and barely at the beginning of the reception, even with an insole added, they were unbearable. Since these were marketed as the 12hr shoe, it was so disappointing. So, I'm very sad. But, giving two stars for the fact that they were stunning and I was able to at least get through the ceremony. But, for the price and what they were marketed as, two stars are all I feel I can give.”

“Not worth the price The shoes were very pretty, but not very comfortable. Spent $400 and couldn't wear them at the reception. I got the Crystal Vine Rhinestone Block Heel. Bella Belle's customer service though was the worst part. I needed to exchange the original pair I bought because their sizing is so wildly off and it was getting close to the wedding. I live in Canada so shipping takes forever. I begged them to help by express shipping the correct size to my family in the US and they couldn't be bothered to help after I spent over $400. In contrast, I bought a pair of beautiful flats from another company with a similar aesthetic but at a third of the cost and had to exchange those too (for color reasons that time) and they were wonderful - expressed shipped my shoes to my family and didn't even charge me for it.”

We understand you were requesting a free return label from us and unfortunately, we do not provide return labels at this time. We do have this listed on our return policy page, FAQ page, and this information is also enclosed in our packaging when the shoes were shipped to you. This is our store policy and we hope you can understand and respect this. For a new order or exchange pair though, you can choose an expedited shipping option so your shoes arrive faster. If you enter your address during checkout, you will see the shipping options and costs. In regards to the Valerie sizing, Valerie does run large so we recommend choosing a half size down from your usual dress shoe size. We do have this fit review listed on the product page in the description area. Also, if the ankle strap is too tight but the shoes fit perfectly, you could always get an ankle strap extender. In terms of comfort, everyone's feet are different so different styles will fit differently on everyone. I'd recommend trying a different style of ours. Our mesh shoes are pliable and provide more of a stretch in the toe area so they may be closer to what you are looking for. “Beautiful to look at (hence 2 stars) but oh my! the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever experienced. I was in agony after half an hour and had blisters on the soles of my feet at the end of the evening.”

“Although I exchanged the 4 inch with the 2 inch shoes were very uncomfortable. I was only able to walk for an hour afterwards I couldn’t stand in the shoes. They were very painful to walk in, too narrow. I don’t recommend these shoes to anyone. I feel like the shoes were a little overpriced. Not the best material and all.”

“Honestly I am now on my 4th pair of shoes I’ve had to send back. The first pair were too big so it was $10 to send that pair back and get an exchange. The smaller size didn’t work out because the shoe was uncomfortable. So yet another $10 to send that pair back. I went with a different style. That style was horribly uncomfortable. So there was another $10 to send back. Finally got my 3rd style which I liked but the sizing apparently ran small (not mentioned in the description) so now I need to go up a size which means yet another exchange and another $10. I am now out $40 when I’m paying hundreds of dollars on these shoes and it’s not like I have the option to go try them on anywhere close to me. This process has just been stressful and really not worth it. If you can’t find a place to try the different style of shoes and sizes then it’s definitely not worth losing $40 just to get it right.”

“I did not have the best go with Bella Belle Shoes. When I returned the shoes they refused to return my money for about five weeks--if not more. If you are going to do a return, make sure you take a picture of the package itself because they will not trust that you wrote the address correctly even though it had been delivered for four weeks at that time. You know how the UPS and USPS app don't tell you the exact location and just say delivered? Yeah, they won't accept that. I don't know if it was just a difficult time, but this experience was awful. In term of the shoes themselves, they are beautiful and well made and seemingly comfortable, but absolutely made for a slim foot. I've never really had this problem with shoes before, but for some reason I did with these.”

“Although I absolutely love my shoes. I bought 2 pairs as I wanted the size to fit perfectly. For how expensive they were I am disappointed with the return policy and having to fork the cost of international shipping and a long delay in waiting for my refund. Hence my low review.”

“Don’t get me wrong – the shoes are absolutely beautiful and comfortable. I bought them for my wedding after hearing amazing things about the shoes. Imagine my disappointment when I spend $400 on a pair of shoes and wear for only one night (with movement limited to standing, walking short distances, and dancing for a couple hours on a regular dance floor), And I takeoff my shoes to find the bottom of them completely torn and tattered. I’m disappointed that these shoes weren’t better quality at the end of the day, especially something I wanted to keep as a keepsake.”

Hi Simone, We are sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with your shoes. According to the picture you included in your review, the plastic liner wasn't removed from the soles. The plastic liner is meant to be removed before wearing the shoes, this is why it is breaking apart. Please peel off the plastic, and your shoes will be ready for many more wears!

Hi Denise, We are so sorry to hear you are not completely happy with your purchase. We are not sure what you meant by 'falling apart'. If you meant there were pockmarks all over the shoes, that is a normal wear. The bottom of our shoes are made with genuine leather, which is a natural material. Just like with any shoes made with natural leather in very light color. They will get scuffed and have pockmarks as soon as you wear them. Once you wear them more, the leather will smooth out naturally. They don't affect the wearability of the shoes, as they are normal cosmetic wear. Thank you.

“Shoes are pretty but not made for wide feet. Wore my shoes to the church but thankfully had another pair for my reception. The material front barely covered my toes and dug into the sides of my bones. These are made for narrow dainty feet.”

“Very disappointed. I had been looking at Bella Belle shoes for months before deciding to purchase the Baby Blue Floral Lace Ivory Wedding Flats for my wedding. The ordering and delivery were smooth. When the shoes arrived, I was really excited because they were exactly what I had been looking for. In the months leading up to my wedding, I would take the shoes out occasionally and wear them around the house to break them in before the big day. Come the big day, they looked great with my wedding dress and were comfortable, until they broke. During the reception, right after dinner, the front half of the sole separated from the rest of the shoe, so for the remainder of my wedding reception I had to wear the sneakers I had worn earlier in the day while getting ready. I did report it to Bella Belle, the next day, who said if I returned the shoe they could only provide me store credit but, in the end, I have decided to go to a cobbler and get the shoe fixed.”
