I have been waiting weeks for my bed it was £2,400 so not cheap. I was given a date and a few days beforehand we were given another text saying it’s going to be in morning of said date , we decorated our room and got new carpet and threw our old bed out as we thought we would stay at daughters house for 2 days before delivery which would help with decorating and carpets , had a call telling us the base wasn’t now in stock just 36 hours before delivery , ( WHO THE HELL SENDS DELIVERY MESSAGES OUT WHEN THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE THE ACTUAL ITEM IN THEIR POSSESSION!!!!!) I was told by a bensons employee that it’s a terrible idea and that it was going to be something they were going to get rid of as it’s caused them mayhem , we have had to sleep on the floor on a foam tent pad for a month now and have been told it MIGHT BE ANOTHER MONTH BUT IT MIGHT NOT , ( THE BED IS STILL BEING SOLD ON WEB TOO HOW CAN THEY KEEP GIVING CUSTOMERS DELIVERY DAYES WHEN THEY CANT DELIVER TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS) I’ve tried to get in touch with them numerous times to no avail , I’ve had no response to my emails !! All 3 of them , one time I was on phone for an hour and then line went dead ,called the shop where we purchased it in Hanley stoke on trent in the end the manager has just called me to tell me that even though our mattress is in stock and at the warehouse house they will not send it because it’s being paid for on finance !! ( they know in on the floor too ) i gave them numerous chances to keep with this £2,400 sale but being told that I’m obviously not Important enough because it’s a finance package is shocking . I wish I’d seen all these bad reviews before giving them my £250 deposit ( which my wife has now said enough is enough we will be cancelling ) bensons customer service is shocking even the manager at the store is having to wait days for answers , this is just not worth going through to get a bed it really isn’t , I’m sure that bensons will send some answer apologising on here but what they do not understand is that people want someone to talk to and to get an answer, a call would be far better you would get far less complaints, I really liked the bed too it was to be a Xmas present to ourselves , we will definitely not use bensons again and I will definitely be making sure everyone hears my story , HOW CAN A COMPANY KEEP HALF YOUR PURCHASE FROM YOU KNOWING YOU HAVE SLEPT ON THE FLOOR FOR A MONTH ITS A DISGRACE

Don't buy fron Benson's We bought and paid for our bed ,waited the for notification of delivery , received a text informing me of a date ,nothing happened ,I was somewhat annoyed as I had taken a day's holiday to receive it ,I then contacted the delivery number printed on the receipt and was told I was going to receive it by 18.00hrs nothing came I then phoned them back a they said I they sent me correspondence informing me it would be with me in another two weeks ,I have not received any correspondence either letter e-mail text or missed call ,the company has bad communication between its staff and essentially it's customers I suspect the company will not last as most reviews I've read are not positive and mention the same problems .

Just spent my 3rd night on new soft mattress bought becos ive slept on them all my life this is the worst ever its like sleeping on a board took a sleeping tablet n pain killers last night n managed 4 hours sleep im now told i have to wait 40 nights for replacement its the starlight supreme it definatly should not be described as soft

Long wait time for delivery, on the delivery date stated on my receipt, I called to see when it would be arriving to be told there was no delivery date planned for my sofa and they could offer me a slot in 11 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous.

Appalling customer service - go elswhere! Don't buy from Bensons and expect to receive the goods you have paid for in good faith! We purchased a wardrobe (£840) in September with an agreed delivery date of this Tuesday. We had a joiner booked to assemble it, we put covid protection measures in place for the joiner, we dismantled our existing storage, ensured there was a parking space for the truck - and we got a call from the driver to say he couldn't park which unless he was leading a fleet of buses, was nonsense! We contacted customer services who have not yet replied to us, we have sent direct messages on twitter with no result - so we have paid £830, our house is in chaos, we don't have our wardrobe and we have no idea what is happening next!

At last Benson's finally accept the copy of the invoice and have arranged to repay the money owed by cheque but unfortunately that department is closed due to the impact of Vivid excuses excuses excuses wouldn't touch this company with a badge pole still no apology and won't accept they are in the wrong

Five weeks delivery OK, day of delivery I had to phone them & ask where my bed was. I was told its 3 weeks delay. Day of delivery No bed, had to phone again where is my bed, sorry its going to be another week. 9 weeks it took with no communication from them. The bed is brilliant though.

Rubbish service and took money twice for a bed that we cancelled due to them not adhering to contract. Customer service what customer service, waiting on phone for an hour at a time. Wont be surprised if they go bust

Only gave 1 star as there is no zero star option. We purchased a bespoke Pure Tranquility bed base, two zip together single mattresses, side cabinets and headboard at a cost of £2979.97. First delivery date was cancelled and extended by 6 weeks due to CV-19 so if you want an accurate delivery date add 6 weeks as BFB are aware there is a backlog but are still making false delivery promises. When we complained, they promised us a goodwill gesture which they would only confirm after we took delivery. In all instances the email response was bang on the 10 day response target ... Again CV-19 was quoted as the reason for poor response times. The delivery arrived as scheduled, was packaged nicely and looked lovely. ONE week after delivery, both mattresses had sagged in the middle (these were different firmness grades 2 & 3) I emailed CS stating that the products were nothing like the ones we laid on in the shop, as the bed sagged, the plastic button under the woollen cover started to dig in. No response to email received, just standard message stating that CS were very busy (no surprise there) and would respond within 10 days. After moving to the bed in the spare room due to back aches caused by lack of mattress support, I phoned CS, after waiting for over an hour, CS advised that I would have to wait 40 nights for their comfort guarantee period to be reached before they could do anything. I stated that the product was not fit for purpose and was of poor manufacture to sag so quickly. I was asked to send photos and was assured that CS would not take 10 days to respond as I had phoned them and sent photos. 10 days later, I sent additional photos that clearly showed sagging and waited another hour for CS to answer the phone. I was once again informed that they could not do anything until the 40 nights comfort guarantee was reached. I stated that the product was faulty and I would instruct my solicitor, CS then put me on hold to speak to a senior manager. They have advised a Homecare Engineer will contact me within 48 hours to make an appointment to come and inspect the bed and if it is found to be faulty will replace it. I stated that I did not want a replacement as I would use the refund to shop elsewhere. This is the premium range of bed that they are selling using their own comfort rating machine, the cheap mattress in our spare room provides a lot more support than this 3 week old 'pure tranquility' mattress. I believe they are in breach of the trade description act and should rename this mattress 'need tranquillisers' as you'll need them to be able to sleep on it. Poor product, terrible customer service, do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere. Ps: no sign of the promised goodwill gesture either ... No surprise there ! This company is using the CV19 pandemic as an excuse for breach of delivery promise and poor customer service.

Awful customer service and poor products. Bought 2 mattresses which are too short, have had reviewers come out and check and agreed both mattresses faulty. Offered replacements in 18th September and heard nothing since, tried calling and messaging and been in store and still not been replaced. I shall be contacting trading standards and ombudsman, this company are beyond a joke and I will never purchase from them again and I will advise everyone to do the same! Avoid like the plague!!!!!

Never buy here! Save your money and the grief! Never buy here! We spent 3k on a bed, mattress and all the trimmings. When the delivery showed up on Monday the guy asked us if we had any tools to make the bed! My husband then had to help the two of them get the bed in! Whilst the two guys were getting the mattress in they pulled off one of our lights causing £120 worth of damage! Upon inspection of the bed there are several issues; Dent on headboard Headboard is loose Not enough screws in the headboard Screws added where they shouldn’t be Since then my husband and I have phoned, emailed, messaged on Facebook and even I went back I to the store and nothing has been done! It’s one excuse after the other, your email hasn’t been received! We need 24hrs! They have had 4 days to date and still no resolution or apology or payment for the damage to our brand new house! It is the worst customer experience I have ever experienced and we haven’t even started getting this rectified. This bed and service is not worth 1k let alone the 3k we paid! Let alone the stress and grief this has caused and none of the staff or company care. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere!

What a joke of a company, waited 5 months for our bed after 3 cancellations. We finally got a delivery date Friday 6th November Today Thursday 5th November. Your bed is not in stock and won’t be delivered. Customer service has no clue what is going on. Socking company I would not recommend them to anyone and by the reviews it won’t surprise me if this company will liquidate like its partner Harvey’s. DO NOT ORDER FROM BENSONS FOR BEDS, IT SEEMS LIKE MOST OF US WILL LOSE OUR DEPOSITS. AVOID !!!!!

We purchased a bed less than 18 months ago and have been having a problem with what we thought was the mattress. Turned out the base has collapsed. Home Serve came out to look at the mattress at a cost of £48. and has marked the base down as accidental damage so we can't claim on our policy for a new bed base. Tried contacting the various numbers listed for their complaints department and none are working

Absolutely disgusting service, sent a bed with no fittings,won't reply to emails, phone calls social media, eventually got through to head office and had the displeasure of speaking to Scott who's attitude of sorry what more can I do is not acceptable, I've been forced to sleep on the floor for a week now and been told fittings will arrive in 3 weeks, shocking, don't waste your time and money on this appalling outfit go somewhere that cares,court proceedings have started against bensins for beds

Bensons are using the current pandemic to cover for a shocking service. I ordered a bed in July with a 3 month lead time. Each time the delivery date gets near I get another email saying it's been delayed. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY

Ordered a bed and it arrived with most fixtures and fittings missing, words fail me, customer service shocking took a week to reply and said we'll take 14 days to send them out 3 weeks of sleeping on a floor, shocking company

Poor customer services and painful long delivery. We bought a bed frame and we were told it would be delivered within 3 weeks. Two months and a half later we are still waiting for delivery. It was schudeled for tomorrow but we have been told that we need to wait another month. The shocking thing is that if we want to cancel now and get a refund, they will charge us 20%. What is the point in buying a bed if you have to wait 3 months and a half for delivery?
