have been trying to stop and recover costs that creation have been taking out of my account for a item that was returned in March 2020. Between bensons for beds and creation they have been sending me back and forth saying it’s the other parties fault. Now I have been on the phone for months trying to resolve this but their team is limited apparently as to what they can do. I have call logs, times and dates detailing the whole process. It’s beyond ridiculous, I’m being sent round in circles! Cash book aren’t replying to any of the emails, even when the customer service people are labelling it urgent. £193.16 has been taken from my account by creation because bensons for beds hasn’t taken off a headboard I sent back in 2020. This headboard was £287.99, I confirmed in store with an associate and via email that this was taken off the remaining balance owed. This had not been done and the two parties are refusing to admit in the wrong. Besides this, when we actually got the mattress and frame it was soiled, wet and dirty. We had to wait over a month for a replacement. The van was letting in rain water and the delivery drivers dragged £1100s worth of goods along the floor, this tore the packaging. The frames packaging was already ripped and was soaked down one side, it left it stained. They didn’t take it back so had to have a king size bed and frame sitting in my front room. We got rid of our bed so had to sleep on the mattress for a month! It’s been a year on and my mattress is dipping! I’m 5’10 and weigh 66kg it should not be doing this this early on. 5 years warranty! It’s a joke they weeded out of everything.

watch out! Used matress sold as a new one!!! First I wanna say I'm absolute outraged, disgusted and disappointed. Simply I do not believe, and please don't try to answer on my comment my mattress is new as Is not! In my opinion, this mattress which has been sold for us as a new, Is simply up recycled, springs are old and used, is only the new cover. Whatever it is: this mattress is absolutely rubbish and I don't wanna see it anymore in my house. My old mattress had a way better condition and smaller dents than my ,, NEW'' one from Bensons for beds. Is only 5 days since I bought it, and my bottom collapses into the holes and i cannot sleep. Is more than 6 cm dents when you take a picture! There are 2 huge dents on both sides of the mattress - literally on the bum area. Is impossible to sleep in the middle as you rolling on the side where holes are. is nightmare !!! I'm waiting for explanations from Bensons but answers so far.

We bought a bed from bensons and bought the I gel matress it has all clumped up and uncomfortable. They sent a technician who was a rude obnoxious excuse for a technician. He didn't wear gloves and was touching everything also lay all over the bed with no protective clothing and with covid about has to disinfect it for 2 days . His attitude was terrible .Told it was normal wear and tear . They are supposed to be guaranteed for years, the company is not even bothered when you've got a problem or complaint ? They donot want to know dont buy from this company as guarantees are not worth the paper they're written on. Normal wear and tear when the i gel moves is the excuse. Support the smaller shops cheaper and better quality . Like previous reviews avoid!!!!!!!

Absolutely despicable company. We purchased a new mattress after trying in store. It was very evident that when the new mattress arrived and we tried for the first time, the quality of the mattress wasn’t the same as in store. Several emails telephone conversations and lots of stonewalling that they didn’t want to know. Shockingly poor all round . So please don’t even bother and save yourself a load of unnecessary hassle and stress - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE We are now left with a mattress that we can’t use and don’t want

1st divan base arrived broken (but the drawers were ok) 5 weeks later, 2nd divan is ok but is missing feet, whilst looking we realised that both of the drawers were broken. After speaking to customer services multiple times I was told to email (but this takes 5 days to get a reply) after 10 days of no calls or emails I went onto twitter and sent a message and they replied in 9 minutes!!!! After some snotty madame told me to check my spam I replied for them to come and collect the bed. It was collected a week later and I was very impressed when I did actually get my deposit back within 7 days. But I had to sort the finance

Absolutely shocking - several parts were missing Several screws were missing. Mirror door was bent and it even said “return please” on the packaging. Clearly it was returned once before and we received the faulty order. Customer service said it would take up to 1 month for missing parts to arrive. Shocking as we already waited two months to first receive our order. I have cleared my bedroom ready for the wardrobe and now clothes and my belongings are scattered everywhere Never order from here, you’ll be disappointed

Absolutely appalled by the customer service received. Waited 8 weeks for our wardrobe to be delivered only for half of the fixtures and fittings to be in the package. Not only did this make it impossible for us to build parts of the wardrobe but also the mirrored door came bent with ‘return to RD20’ written on the cling film packaging. Someone has quite clearly returned this before and the warehouse team have been very careless when doing their job. When ordering a brand new item I expect it to come in immaculate condition, however I was extremely disappointed. After calling customer service, they advised I send a picture of the bent mirror for proof and I did exactly that. I was told the mirror looked perfectly fine and they completely overlooked my complaint. I decided to order a new mirrored door and missing hinges/screws etc which I have to wait 4 weeks for them to arrive. Awful experience, never ordering from the company again.

My in-laws purchased a mattress for me and my partner as a gift back in 2020. The mattress unfortunately had a broken spring so we had to exchange it. We had to pay more for the new mattress as they had nothing the same price. We then received a mattress that had a manufacturing fault (mattress sizing was wrong) but we did find this mattress comfortable so decided to exchange for the same mattress. Due to the sizing being wrong we based the comfort on that as the new mattress arrived and it was nothing like the mattress with the manufacturing fault. We have woken up with SEVERE backache everyday - unable to go to the gym or carry out certain tasks. I currently have been diagnosed with hyper lordosis due to this! We called through to customers services to hopefully get a refund. We have spoken to Elliot a few times now and he is extremely rude, arrogant and really should not be working in a customer service role. Refused refund as “not fault with mattress” despite this being our first actual mattress we got to try out as the others came with faults. Now we are stuck with a £300 mattress we cannot sell on and have to buy another elsewhere! AVOID!! there is a reason they went into administration

Dreadful experience. Paid ahead and waited over a month for delivery date. A truck with 2 chaps arrived and delivered the new bed, but despite reminders failed to remove the old mattress despite us paying for this service. Phoned the store, they told us someone would be back in an hour. They weren't then they told us they couldn't collect and would refund, leaving us with a mattress in the garage for a fortnight and our car parked on the road. Raised with Bensons store, then with their customer services. They weren't interested in the slightest and did nothing to fix the situation. I wouldn't support Bensons ever again.

Brought a mattress from them in June 2021, waited 6 weeks for delivery arrived on time no problem apart from the fact delivery drivers not able to take it upstairs as there is a bend in my stairs. Anyway within 3 days I noticed a slight dip, thought that it would bounce back, not so lucky. Contacted Bensons once via my email and another on reviewing sight. Funnily they only responded to the review I left. Wanted me to take pictures which I have done twice waited 10 days for a response to be told they need more pictures I have said no so they are sending an assessor out next week. Customer service tried to tell me it was just the mattress settling really? Whole point of this mattress was to help with my back problems no such luck, getting worse just want rid of this mattress now and my money back. Don’t trust anything they say

I bought a wardrobe from Bensons for Beds in February 2019 and in January 2020 I reported a problem with one of the draws on the wardrobe not closing properly, this is something we lived with from the off but was getting progressively worse. They asked me to pay for an independent report on the wardrobe and gave details of a recognised company that does the reports. I spend £80 on this report which stated there was a manufactures fault with the set of draws on the lower part of the wardrobe. At first they didn’t accept this as the report wasn’t clear enough, however after a few emails to Bensons and the inspection company this was cleared up and confirmed as a manufacturers fault. The money was refunded at this point by Bensons and I was given two options; Repair or replace. Not wanting to cause a fuss I asked for a repair. About 6 weeks go by and they finally get a call and was told that the parts cannot be sourced as there is now version two of the wardrobe. So they tell me that I need a full new wardrobe. A few months go by and the wardrobe was now ready and a date was set for replacement. This didn’t happen due to lockdowns, re-arranged but cancelled again because of their driver having to isolate, I then had to re-arrange due to work constraints, then the wardrobe fitter had to isolate so it was re-arranged again. This I can totally understand and at this point I was fine with the service, not great at all but forgivable in the circumstances. THIS IS WHERE THE REAL PROBLEMS START…… Its now January 2021, a year after reporting the fault. Delivery was arranged for Thursday 7th of January, I called up on the Monday before just to make sure the delivery was still on due to the lockdown at that time. Yes, delivery was on. GREAT! I was asked to dismantle my old (and only) wardrobe ready for collection so that’s exactly what I did. I moved it all into my garage where it could easily be shifted into Bensons van on arrival. After waiting in all day on the 7th nobody turned up. I called up the next day and got nowhere. They didn’t know what happened. I called up nearly every day for two weeks and they eventually came up with the conclusion that the wardrobe had been misplaced and a new one would need to be ordered. I now have clothes organised in piles on the floor and a house which looks a total mess. Each week I called up checking on the progress of the wardrobe as I was told numerous times that it was being manufactured in Germany and the process takes several weeks. In March I get a phone call telling me that they have discontinued that wardrobe. So were they just lying telling me it was being manufactured? they offered a refund or replacement of a similar styled wardrobe. I choose the latter as we styled the bedroom around the wardrobe, and could only find that colour/ style at Bensons. After much deliberation we settled on another wardrobe. This was £900 more (mostly due to not being in the sale at the time) and “for our trouble” they offered £100 off. They also said on a few different phone calls that they would give us some compensation once the order had been completed for all our troubles. They would not say how much though. They said they had no idea and couldn’t even give an estimate to how much compensation they could offer as this would be calculated after the order has been completed. By now we had spent three months having almost no storage space upstairs. It was causing real stress. Being so used to a tidy, well organised home we found it impossible to keep the place tidy. Me and my partner both have stressful jobs but coming home to a messy house really affected us and our resentment for Bensons started growing. Putting our feelings for Bensons aside and thinking logically, we agreed that the quickest way to resolve the situation would be pay the £800 for the replacement wardrobe. By this time we were thinking more about our own sanity than anything else. We still had the issue of the old wardrobe filling up the garage, which was space that id need in soon for putting my car into storage while I leave for a work trip for a couple of months. we gave Bensons nearly one months notice to collect this but they couldn’t collect it until the day after I leave for work. Just bad timing, so I offered to leave the pieces on the front drive ready for collection. I was told that if I did this then it would be considered neglect and I wouldn’t get a refund. I offered to dispose of the old wardrobe myself but they said the same. They HAD to take it back to the manufacture in order for me to get a refund. I was forced to leave the wardrobe in the garage and have a family member (my mum) wait in all day until they came and collected the wardrobe. The people who collected it said that they take it to the skip and dispose of it. Yet more avoidable inconvenience. I felt like they were going out of their way to make things awkward for me. Its now the end of May. I’m back home and have been for some weeks. Its now been 6 months of living without a wardrobe in the house. The new wardrobe finally arrives and is fitted. Everything is good. I call up to ask about the previously promised compensation and was told I could have £25 compensation. The reasoning is because they already gave me £100 off the none- sale price of the replacement wardrobe. this was a load of rubbish. I know because I called up pretending to be a new customer and after saying one phrase “whats the best price you can do” I was immediately offered £100 off, so there is no way they can justify that as a good will gesture for the inconvenience, not when they give it to anyone and everyone. With eventual discussions they offered £100 compensation and an extra £30 to cover what I spent on buying cheap clothes rails in a failed attempt to establish a little bit of order in the house. I find their offer a kick in the teeth. I would have genuinely preferred to just keep the faulty wardrobe and live with it than to go through what we did. Most people I spoke to from Bensons didn’t seem to care at all, and the few that did couldn’t actually do anything about it. In total there were over 80 phone calls made, with several promises to call back by certain dates just ignored. Throughout all these calls I was polite and calm, even though the stress and inconvenience they were causing was the worst I have ever experienced. It sounds silly getting so stressed over such a thing and looking at someone else in this situation I would probably joke about them being a snow flake, but to go though it was genuinely horrible. This is an example of a nice guy getting nowhere. The sad thing is that if I were awkward from the start and demanded a new wardrobe right away I would probably have never gone though this. I have not accepted the compensation they have offered. I will never buy from Bensons for Beds again and wish I never stepped foot in their shops. Apologies any grammatical errors you might find in here. This is my rant, not an English exam.

Awful, never ever shopping with them again. Took over 7 months to get my bedroom drawers because they messed up the order. Terrible customer service, like talking to a brick wall. They dont value their customers, I spent 80 minutes on the phone to Karen, the worst customer service agent I have ever dealt with. Didnt listen, was rude, kept telling me why she couldn't solve the problem. Absolute disgrace of a company

AVOID AVOID. Unfortunately zero stars is not an option. 4 days of leave wasted for a delivery that never came. Multiple customer services calls. Bought in store but appalling customer service and told store can’t help. Do yourself a favour and buy online. In some cases, cheaper is better. You have more chance of customer care.

One star because it doesn't have an alarm bell! Dealing with Bensons for Beds has been an absolute farce from the beginning. Over 3 months on from the original order, we've been told they had to cancel one delivery because it was stuck in the Suez Canal, then over month later it had to be cancelled again because it was in lockdown in Malaysia and it would be over six months before they would even try to arrange another delivery. So after hours speaking to a number of call handlers, trying to negotiate the maze of call options and a visit to a store and raising another order for a bed more than twice the price. We actually had a delivery van turn up. Unfortunately what did arrive was battered and badly damaged and even the delivery driver advised us to refuse the delivery. Since then we've spent another few hours on the phone, trying to speak to someone to get it sorted I asked for a Manager escalation, to which I was told it would take 24 hours. 24 hours later, still no call, spoken to two call handlers and have now been told "the manager is in a meeting" and I would receive a call. They obviously couldn't care less about their Customers and stress they cause (ironic since their chosen charity is mind and I work for the NHS in a Mental Health Trust). I keep being asked, "well, do you want to cancel the order?". By the experience I will have to, after nearly 4 months of lies and broken promises. Hopefully the next company we deal with will be able to supply a bed in less that 6 months. Disgusting service and I advise not to even consider using this "Bed" company.
