Faulty / broken , part of a bed when unwrapped and 2 weeks later and to many of my hours later still not replaced I will never be using bensons again , they need to sort out there customer service

Waited in all day on 4th Dec and again today 14th Dec for my double mattress and mattress topper. No show on either day. Atrocious delivery service. I do not expect to spend almost £900 then get treated like this. Avoid this company. They do not deliver what they promise. Going into shop next week for full refund. Already had 2 gripes on the phone to customer services and will complain again in shop next week.

I'm trying to get through to Customer Services. I was waiting on first attempt for 80 minutes after which my phone died. I'm on second attempt, 50 minutes later and have not got through to an adviser yet. The even more annoying thing is that they advise on the waiting time when connected (40 minutes it was in my case) but there is no update on where the caller is in the queue and how long the estimated waiting time. Awful service.

I would be rating as zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If there’s something in the store available on the day, be my guest. The staff in the stores are actually quite nice and helpful, it’s behind the scenes where it all goes wrong. Delivery dates are a myth, we ordered in September for a delivery on 30th October, that was pushed back til 12th Dec and now 15th Jan for apparently no reason whatsoever. You always read these reviews and think it can’t be that bad. It is that bad. Avoid like the plague. I’m not sure how what they’re doing is even legal. DO NOT BUY FROM BENSONS FOR BEDS.

Had 3 delivery dates which I stayed home and had time off work to receive! No bed came on any!! Customer service just make excuses and felt like I was just being fobbed off. The final straw was they couldn’t even ask the distribution centre what had happened they had to e mail then I wait another 2 days for an explanation and another delivery date !! Ended up giving up and getting refund before anymore drama occurred. Total fiasco I wouldn’t recommend bensons to anyone!!

Appalling customer service... The experience in the shop was fine. Staff was helpful. But... The bed delivery had been agreed for 5th November 2018. However, when it was delivered one mattress was missing. I had dismantled the previous bed, but with one mattress missing the new bed was not fit for purpose. No explanation was given as to why the mattress was not delivered. After spending a lot of time on the phone to customer services I was promised that the second mattress would be delivered one week after the bed delivery. The day came, and the wrong mattress was delivered. I have ordered one mattress with the firmness “2” and one mattress with the firmness “3”. I received two mattresses with the firmness “3”. As the label was folded over I could not see it as long as it was in the packaging material. I will have to stay at home for a third day for the exchange of the mattress. In addition I have spent a lot of time on the telephone, as customer services are very hard to reach (today the automated message says, waiting time 103 minutes!!). I tried the automated call back system previously, but it doesn't seem to work. I have sent an email (an got an automated reply) which has not been answered after 9 days... I was promised that someone from Bensons for Beds will ring me back after the second mattress was delivered. It never happened. What else can be done? It's an appalling customer service. Addition on 11th December 2018: Today between 7am and 1pm the exchange of the wrongly delivered mattress should have happened. Now we are well into the afternoon. No sign of bensonsforbeds, no contact, nothing... and I have to go out... How long will this continue???? Addition on 12th December 2018: Bensonsforbeds still didn't contact me. If I don't make the effort nothing happens. Once they have your money they don't care. Today I've spent about 2 hours on the phone (getting through is the problem) but all they can say is, "We are looking into it." I will find out how I can step up the game...

HOPE THEY STAY" SOLVENT" TILL AT LEAST SOME ONE. FROM BENSON BEDS and can get this solved. CONTACTS ME FOR A UPDATE ON MY 5 WEEK OLD COMPLAINT/PROBLEM. THE ACTUAL PART OF DELIVERY AND largest GOODS WERE VERY GOOD. a wrong intrinsic peice was sent. Then my headache and stress began 3 hours of waiting to speak and calls to CC, 2 lots of photos sent to prove to them or their suppliers that the unit was of a lesser type than i prepaid for. 2 HOURS SENDING LONG EMAILS AS I WAS SICK OF HEARING (YOUR CALL IS VALUABLE) and a operater will be available in 63 minutes. so far no help at all. i am worried. if the problem had been dealt with by now or even better no problem/mistake at all i would have given 5 stars. perhaps the top brass of BB should get onto this website and see the unsatisfied paid up clients . 2hours emails and 5 weeks later

Twice failed to deliver, customer services useless and over an hour to answer, emails, slow response even though I was physically removed from store trying to get money back, now appears that they will refund in a few days?, This has cost me alot of time money and effort for nothing.

Bought an electric bed from Bensons for beds back in MAY YES MAY, and have had issues with the company ever since. It took them up until the end of November for them to come and collect it and we are now in December and I haven't received any of my money back from they as yet. Also I spoke to Creation the finance company and they tell me that Bensons have not yet informed them that the bed has been collected so I have to wait yet again for the money from them Regards finance. Every time I phone the Shop or even the Aftersales I keep getting told it's getting sorted.

Sent completely the wrong mattress, delivery “men” (I use the term loosely) refused to take mattress upstairs (but did when given £5). Apparently they usually leave mattresses in the hallway. Order time changed three times in 48hrs. Divan broken. Took another two weeks to get correct order. Manager at the branch we ordered from had attitude of “our staff didn’t make the mistake you did” when on closer inspection they had made three mistakes! Emailed complaints dept four times now with no response. Three weeks since initial complaint. Cut off by customer services today after waiting yet another hour for a callback. Apparently there is a backlog! Shock horror! Too much other stuff to write here about how appalling this company is. Absolute shambles. How the hell it is still trading I never know. If a minus rating could be given then I would give it. 0/10 for now.

Well ,waiting for three weeks to get our mattress and my sons matress and bed ,when the delivery arrived only our mattress arrived and was told the bed and mattress hadn’t arrived as it got broken at the warehouse .We were told that this is what happens with the delivery but refused to believe it until the same thing happened to us . They then gave us another two week wait but when I phoned bensons fo beds the manageress got back to me to say that it will be the 9th of January now so eight weeks to wait for a bed to arrive they also got the pillows wrong as well . So not happy !!!!!!!!

Following the delivery of the bed, items of jewellery to the value of £1430 were missing from the bedroom. We cannot categorically proove it was one of the delivery personnel. No other person had been in the bedroom, there is no other logical explanation. Police were informed, unfortunately there is no proof, only opportunity. It took nearly 1 hour to contact the complaints department. The only feedback was a call saying they had released an agency worker from their employment. A VERY EXPENSIVE BED. An apology would have been nice. Not at all happy with the proceedings.

I had an issue with headboard I bought with a divan bed and mattress which all in all was not cheap..when I required support and help they said could not help me as it sounded like you've already bought it now..tough luck!! Don't they realise about reputation and repeat business or recommendations! I for one won't be using them again or indeed recommending them to friends and family.

The plastic parts have become brittle and disintegrated, leaving the bed in a dangerous and unusable state. Customer service have been appalling. Despite communications over many weeks they refuse to make any comment or action unless I provide my customer number (??) although I have full details of the credit card payment.

Ordered a small double bed and headboard October..now December and 3 failed deliveries later, still no bed. Delivery 1..bed nowhere to be found, even the warehouse had no idea where it was..got the headboard though. Delivery 2..bed delivered to warehouse. A divan in 2 halves..1 half was broken and the other half was missing, however whoever accepted the delivery at the warehouse thought it was acceptable and to not chase it with manufacturers. Delivery 3..store tracking vehicle all the way..had text messages giving us a morning delivery - no sign. Spoke to store who then spoke to van.. be there at approx 2pm. At 3pm I rang store.."sorry, but I've got some bad news..the bed isn't even on the van. Van drivers knew this all along and did nothing about it. " Apparently the store suggested that it could be delivered on Dec 13th - we did not agree to this, but an email trail now exists to say that we did in fact agree to this new delivery date! Store has no direct line to warehouse, customer services or Regional manager (who we asked to speak to - nothing yet). Store had a 238 minute wait to speak to customer services! Stores have to email managers and others so they can call the store back - how ridiculous!! The customer service dept are next to useless - that's if you can get through to speak to them at all. Warehouse staff (as indicated by van drivers) load the vans, but cannot read or speak English so we, the customer, have 3 failed deliveries. I have taken 2 days annual leave to receive my delivery to no avail, and we are now waiting on the Regional manager to authorise a man in a van to drive to the warehouse, collect and hand deliver our order - not hopefull! DO NOT BUY A BED FROM THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - ONLY GIVEN 1 STAR RATING AS THERE IS 0 STARS!! I would dearly love an explanation or an apology from other than the store, who have far more than they needed to.

Bed was not delivered today as was meant to should have been here between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. and nothing not even notifications still I have no bed and to top it off it's a replacement of the I got before as it was broken

Shocking. All I ordered was a headboard one month ago. Delivery was due on Friday Nov 30th. The driver contacted me mid morning to say they were 3.5 hours behind schedule due to a mix up with the loading of the van (what had been loaded was not what they were meant to deliver so they had to return to base). I wasn’t prepared to wait all day so they told me to ring Monday to rearrange delivery. I rearranged for Weds Dec 4th. No delivery and when trying to contact Bensons to find out what had happened there’s a message saying not able to take cells due to staff training!! This message was there all day. On ringing them the next day they told me the order had mistakenly been put on hold 😟😟. It’s now due next Wednesday. I am going to cancel the order and go elsewhere. It’s only a headboard but come on Bensons.. sort yourselves out.

Absolutely shocking company, blatantly sell poor quality wardrobes that differ to the quality ones in their showroom. Taken claim to the furniture ombudsman and they quote " that the customer wardrobes DO vary from the shop model"

I ordered a bed on 4th September but it is now 7th December 2018 and I still don't have it, nor any call backs or real help from staff - 1.5hr wait on phone and no response to emails. However, they did deliver to me 2 bed bases and frames - no headboards or foot boards tho, and they were all damaged.

Absolutely shocking customer service, 30 min wait time to talk to an advisor. I received a faulty bed six weeks ago I’m still waiting for a replacement bed. I would never use them again. I have emailed and never received a reply.
