It seems that the company has gone into liquidation. Don't quote me on it, but the store in Birmingham bad its gate closed at 5pm and people were inside, even though their website says 8pm is the closing time. Also their customer services telephone line seems closed and the store in Birmingham isn't picking up. If you have paid on your credit/debit card, contact your banks ASAP with a view to a chargeback. Recently, they've asked people to pay via PayPal. Anyone who knows PayPal will know your rights are less using PayPal than a bank, as they simply act as an agent. If anyone has any other info, please do let the rest of us know. Shambles of a company and I am very tempted to sue.

All the one star reviews are correct. Ordered toilet suite in Nov 2018, on delivery contents were checked and appeared OK. When plumber came to fit, one of the small plastic seat fittings was half-formed, making it impossible to fit the seat to the pan. Pointless phoning, was number 30 in the queue. Went through the website, got an automated response from the "Zendesk" system saying that my case number was 'quoted below' - but there was no visible case number. 3 further mails later, and there is absolute silence from this company.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Ending up cancelling my order completely. It should've been delivered in 2-3 weeks (couple of items were out of stock). After 3 weeks I called them (took about 40 mins to get through), I was told it would be another 5-7 days. After 7 days called them again and was told it could take another 2 weeks...What a joke of a company! So I cancelled my order there and then.

Damaged goods , nobody turned up twice to pick up the damaged goods after taking time off work !!! 40 mins on the phone waiting for somebody to answer Staff rude !! Waiting for a refund said they would send a cheque, wont bacs it or refund back into my bank ????? Absolute disgraceful company Taking peoples hard earned money They should not be allowed to be trading DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!

I’ve just read all of the one star reviews on here. I agree with all of them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It is showing all the signs of being fraudulent and obviously going bust. I ordered anew toilet, sink and taps for our downstairs cloakroom in Jan 14th on the strength that their website said it was all in stock for immediate delivery. LIE. No communication from them at all. Tried calling the service line it after very long waiting times, the calls are dropped. I telephoned again pretending I wanted to place an order so I could speak to someone. I’m told that the toilet is still not in stock.....should be in the warehouse on the 22nd Feb. Still no communication. Went to the York store to be told that refunds cannot be done in store! What rubbish! I ask for the advisor to telephone on my behalf, but he would not do it. I telephone the service line again this morning. I’m told I’m 19 in the queue. I wait half an hour. Gets to my turn and the call is dropped. I call again. Number 15 in the queue. This time my call is answered. Lovely lady doing her best. Tells me that she has cancelled the order, but is unable to process the refund back on to my card as the company is going through ‘transition’. RED LIGHT! I’m told that the only way for a refund is if she raises a cheque! I’m told this cheque will be sent recorded delivery and will arrive within 21 days. After reading everyone else’s reviews, I’m not confident at all that this will appear. Fortunately, I paid on credit card so hopefully I’m covered should this cheque not arrive. The company is obviously in dire straights with the owner taking peoples money without he intention of honouring the orders. Very worrying indeed. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt regarding my refund by cheque. If this doesn’t happen, I’ll be straight to trading standards. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will probably lose your money.

Verging on fraud and deception! This is the first time I have ever felt the need to go out my way to write a bad review, however I feel it is justified as from my experience how a company deals with customers during issues shows how it will treat you in general whether you have had a good experience to date you are just one order away of seeing the flip side. In short, i went online to buy a shower door for £169, it said it was in stock, i placed my order waited for the delivery time and it did not show, (not a problem these things happen), I then told it was not in stock and they did not know when it will be, again no problem, so I cancelled the order and requested a refund so I can order it elsewhere. I was told and given an email too that my refund would take up to 10 days and would be paid back to my card (great). 4 weeks went by, with me calling pretty much each week waiting 30 mins each time to get through, to be told various things over that time period such as it had not been signed off and slipped through the net, it was waiting for a manager that comes in every 3 weeks to sign, then told 3 weeks in that it will come to me as a Cheque not back on my payment card. I requested that it goes back on the payment card considering the inconvenience I had already been through and this I find out today was ignored and they claim 4 weeks later to have sent the Cheque which is still yet to arrive. I could go on, but the main point is, Better Bathrooms are using excuses to hold on to peoples money, use antiquated methods such as issuing cheques to further delay the payment and keep the cash flow on their books. If i had not chased all of this up I would have either been without a door i was told was in stock, or refund would have never been raised. Its a real shame, as i said, I measure how companies act in good and bad times and Better Bathrooms has a lot to learn and improve on and has lost a customer here going forward for sure. If the refund is not with me this week, given the evidence i have I will take this legal to small claims court! Be warned do not use this company.

Do not use, selling items with 3-5 day delivery which they are still waiting for from their manufacturers. You sit in a queue for 45 minutes and then get cut off. When I did finally get through I was told that they were unable to give me a delivery date as they were unsure when they would receive product to their warehouse. They happily took over 500 pounds and when I cancelled order I was told it would take 21 days before a cheque is issued. They have no refund system in place as they have been taken over by another company. I am not confident I will get a refund. Miss selling at its best. I would not even give them 1 star

Absolutely dreadful company. Took my money and never delivered my product as it was out of stock. Didn't notify me and even after I asked a month later why it didn't arrive, they did not reply. I waited another month and emailed again and still no reply. I eventually called them and the customer service adviser as good as laughed when I told her about the experience and showed no sympathy or acknowledgement of the dreadful customer service. Emailed the CEO and unsurprisingly he didn't even bother to reply. Instead another customer service adviser replied who clearly hadn't even read my email. A quick google search tells you all you need to know about the company. This is without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with and the first time I have left a negative review. Do NOT buy from them.

Why is there no option for 0 stars? Absolutely shocking customer service no one gets back to you, when you do speak to someone they just say whatever to get you off the phone. i am currently chasing a refund for over 4 months now! Also we chose to have the order delivered and left in a secure place, this was dumped at our front door and was left lying there for over 4 hours until our neighbor told us there was a parcel at the front door. I would never recommend this place and I have told people to avoid at all costs.

Ordereed and paid for a large bath in December, nothing arrived on the anticipated delivery date. Every time I called there were 20+ in the queue. Eventually had no option but to hold on for 40 minutes to speak to an advisor. After a very long conversation it transpired the bath I ordered had been discontinued. Nearly three months later the repacement has never yet been in stock (but you can still order it, ive tried).; Have been ringing up weekly ever since with half hour queue each time to be promised it should be available in 7-10 days. After 2 hours on the phone today and still not being able to get any idea of a delivey date or suitable replacement, ive cancelled the order. To be fair, the advisors ive dealt with have tried their best, but sound like they are up against a brick wall. Having done a bit of research, it appears this company have a lot of managment and financial issues. Ive also been told they can only do refunds by cheque. Alarm bells now ringing, lets hope it turns up and doesnt bounce. I will update on that one shortly. Seems they put all the effort into selling and taking your money but dont have the infrastructure or supplychain to fulfill the orders. My experience has been beyond a joke, worst company ive dealt with in 30 years. Avoid like the plague.

Steer clear of this company. Ordered a combination unit, waited in on the day of delivery and it didn't come. Waited for 35 minutes at premium rate on the Phone to find out why it hadn't come, I was told it was out of stock and they hadn't got a clue when it would be in stock or if it would be in stock again, we had no communication from this company saying it was out of stock or they wouldn't be delivering. I cancelled the order and purchased the same unit from their competitors that came on time. We didn't receive acknowledgement of a refund and had to wait another 40 minutes (at premium rate) to get through and to be told they don't know anything about a refund. I can't put the company we purchased the same unit from but it was delivered on time at a similar price. We won't be using them again

I have no bathroom, no refund, and cannot get in touch with the company. Do not. I REPEAT DO NOT buy from this company. I am currently seeking legal advice to get my money back.

I agree with everyone of these bad reviews. They have delivered the wrong item - I now have to submit my problem online - when I call (and wait 45 minutes to get through) they tell me it has to be dealt with online and it will take 2/3 days to look at it. In the meantime I have lost my builders. I have waited for 2 days so far. Also no call back from a manager I was told one would call me back in 6 hours (which is a joke in itself). The place is a complete and utter joke.

What went right ! Placed an order for tiles...they took my money then decided to tell us sometime later that they were discontinued. Took quite some time to get a refund. Also ordered the bolerro bath...when that eventually arrived it was damaged. That was start of Feb...couldn't get another until end of march so ordered a different bath this arrived damaged. Couldn't get us another within our time scale so we are awaiting another refunds on both orders. However for some reason customer services Natalie hull cannot seem to work out the amounts to be refunded. Its quite simple it's the amounts x 2 that better bathroom took from my account. You cannot get through by phone and they will not ring you. Don't think this company will be trading for much longer the service is shocking...apart from Nathan at the Manchester store. Shame he isn't customer services. This matter is still not resolved. We even returned the damaged bath back to store rather than wait for a collection. All our orders were placed in store not on line.

DONT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY Worse customer experience I have ever had Ordered bath,shower and panel states 3-5 working days to be delivered ,after speak to there awfully customer service team they informed me my goods were in stock however when I went to collect them there was a two week delay on my bath ,finally got a refund of this company after what feels like running a marathon ,all people I spoke to were so in helpfull and as for the showroom sales men they need to do a college course in customer service

If I could give 0 stars I would. They failed to deliver the bathroom one the day specified when I ordered online. I had to spend between 1-2 hours on hold to them every time I needed to call which was a lot. As they missed the selected delivery date twice without informing me, things were missed off the order when delivered. Three of the items delivered were damaged (toilet, basin & bath). Avoid at all costs.

Ordered six weeks ago for a specified date. Should be getting my products tomorrow but they won’t be coming. I found this out because I called them and had to be on hold for 40 minutes. I was informed that one of my products had actually been discontinued. I’ve asked for a refund and was told 7-14 days (I note this differs to someone else). I was also told I’d get an email confirming my refund. That email didn’t materialise! Who knows if I’ll get the refund. Terrible company and terrible service!

Been waiting for over a month now should be delivered this week heard nothing from this company.looking at the bad reviews on here and other sites looks like they will go into liquidation what really worry’s me they have my money how do companies like this get away with poor service.PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The customer service is awful. Staff is very rude, racist and unhelpful. They should be ashamed. still waiting for a delivery without having any update. Every time I called I had to queue for more than 45 minutes and was cut-off twice by staff who put me on hold!!!!
