“Ordered a bath, after a week of not coming, I was told to ring customers service. The bath turned up but it was the wrong one. Had to order another one, again had to call customers service, your in a que for the best part of 40 minutes so hang up. I've called york shop 4 times and spoken to the manager, they said they'd contact customers service. 3 weeks have passed no bath so called CS again only to be told their out of stock. WHY didn't anyone tell me!!! They said it shouldn't have been ordered. I have a bathroom half finished that started 5 weeks ago. Bath is supposed to come next week. I'm not holding my breath. If it doesn't, I'm going to politely tell there were to stick it.”

The list goes on...
I paid up front for a full suite (just under £1000), which was promised in a week as I said up front I needed it urgently. Then eight different delivery dates and a few months later I finally had enough - when customer service told me I had to wait yet another week (even after the store manager shook my had two days earlier - apologising and offering a personal guarantee of delivery on the following Saturday - which of course never arrived).
No confimation dates as promised.... No text messages as promised. I finally cancelled it all and asked for a refund. The refund was promised in a few days. I waited and waited and waited. I called again to chase the refund. They said the order wasn't cancelled. So I calmly cancelled it again. Again I waited. No refund. Called again. I was told there was no cancellation logged and no refund due. This happened for three weeks. 12 different customer services members. Every single one of them promising to sort it out and email confirmation and call me back. Not a single one did. I went back to the store daily. Spoke to the manager. Again more promises. Day after day until eventually he started hiding from me and eventually said that he was sorry and could do no more and refused to help any further. So I returned to the phone. Hours of calls. Hours of chasing. Hours of calls to my bank. Then eventually - Today 12-04-17 I had my refund. Insultingly £15 short of what I paid. The final kick in the teeth.
This company is an absolute disgrace. The management. The customer service staff. The whole set up. I didn't even get to see any of the bathroom items and to be honest I'm glad I didn't as I bet trying to return an item would be hell.
Do yourself a favour. Read the negative reviews. I wish I had. This is the first negative review I have ever written online. I feel I need to warm people of my experience before they waste weeks of their lives dealing these inept charlatans. I'm an honest bloke, and expect a certain level of honesty and respect in return. This company has no respect for their customers.
It wasn't just a few mistakes with this company, or human error, or a one-off. It's been three months of absolute hell and it has taken up so much of my time, trying to get back the money they owed me for a product that was never delivered. The whole company is a joke. From the guys at the bottom, to the guys at the top. It's no accident that all of this happened to just one customer. I wish I could take this further but I don't want to waste any more time on them.

Still waiting for it to be delivered over a month later, called customer services of which it took over half an hour for them to answer the phone only to be told sorry it’s out of stock there is nothing we can do! We was not informed of the items Being out of stock when we ordered it. We have had no correspondence from better bathrooms to update us on the progress.
I find better bathrooms to be misleading, happy to take your money and rubbish with there after care. I would never use them again”

I spoke to your staff yesterday reference my order which I paid to have l delivered yesterday to be told that they didn’t even have the items to dispatch and no one in dispatch was able to tell me when I would receive my delivery. Waited 30 mins to speak to customer service who arranged for call back from dispatch manager 24hrs later still waiting for any response of explaination of delivery date. Customer services again 30 min waiting time for call. No obvious email address to complain to and takes too long to get thru the obvious back log to people complaining about this company.”
“First whirlpool bath arrived with a big hole in the side and it took 3 months to get another. Luckily this was fine and the delivery crew were carefully unloading . Worth the wait but it took a long time”
“Have been trying since February to get a walnut bath panel for the bathroom and it's taken 6 weeks and 3 attempts to get the correct panel. Delivery drivers are fine, organisation could do a lot better”
“The service we received from better bathrooms was disgusting, the customer service is absolutely rubbish over 1 hour each time before the call is answered.
The delivery was due Monday we get a call to say the van had broken down, it was then rearranged for Wednesday the delivery never arrived when we called apparently there was one item missing, we rang customer services we then said they wouldn’t deliver till the following Tuesday.
1. No one had the decency to say the delivery wasn’t coming
2. Why wasn’t all the order there when apparently it was all there on Monday when the original delivery was meant to come
3. We had a bathroom fitter sitting there for 2 days without the items to fit
4. The customer service guy offered the delivery cost back, errrrr no it’s not about the money we need the goods
5. Not once did a manager ring us back to speak to us to offer a full explanation
I would never use better bathroom we requested a full refund and went to a more professional company.”
“Couldn’t fulfill our tile order, impossible to get through to Customer Services and, when I did, encountered rude member of staff. Quick enough to take your money, slow enough to refund it! Avoid at all costs, go elsewhere and save yourself the stress.”

“Worst customer service and very incompetent staff.
We ordered a shower door and Thermostatic shower tower panel online for home delivery. The items were delivered with some missing parts probably due to lack of due diligence. We immediately called customers service and we were advised the missing part will arrive within 48 hrs. We also received an email confirmation stating the item will arrive in 48 hrs. Unfortunately we weren't able to use our shower because of this. After two working days without any delivery received, we called the customer service several times until we eventually got through. We were then advised it will take another 48 hrs before the item is delivered. We escalated the issue and requested this should be prioritized for speedy delivered, the manager simply said there was nothing that could be done. My wife and I have now had to take 2days off work in anticipation of the delivery which could arrive anytime within 48 hrs. To make matters worse not even a single compensation has been offered.
This is certainly the worst company have dealt with will never use the service again.”
“We ordered & paid for a bathroom on 12/3/18 and we paid extra for 3-5 day delivery. After 12 days, countless telephone calls, still no bathroom, we rang again to ask where it was. To be told by the same guy who sold us the bathroom that the 3-5 day delivery is from item is in stock & it still isn't in stock (yet they had taken the express delivery charge immediately ). Due to the way the salesman spoke to us 7 extremely poor customer service, we decided to cancel the order. 5 days later & even more telephone calls we are still waiting for a refund. “It is the worst online shopping experience. I placed an order on 16th, March and booke the delivery on 22nd, March. Nobody contacted me and nothing happened till 22nd, March as the order was shown being processed. I waited till 24th, March my order still was shown being processed. I checked one item I ordered is out of stock. So I made a call to 0333 777 4777 to cancel it and held more than 1 hour ,nobody answered my call. Then I sent a email on 24th, March, no response so far. My order status is still being processed”
“Better Bathrooms is probably the worst company I have dealt with for online ordering and delivery. Placed an online order (over £700 of goods) paid for a delivery slot, didn't arrive, arrived a week later damaged then had to wait another week for a replacement meanwhile I must have spent more than one hours on hold several times trying to speak to a customer service advisor. No compensation no apology.
Honestly steer well clear, I had other bathroom orders out with other suppliers which arrived on time as stated with no issues. Never again.”
“I just have to start in saying dealing with this company Better bathrooms has been a truly a awful experience for our family.
We purchase a shower cabin from better bathrooms over the phone, our old one was falling a part so we saved up to buy the new one so we could have it for Easter as we have family staying and the old one leaks bad.
The sales assistant was friendly and told us that the shower would be delivered on Friday, that was great I booked the day off work and we booked our plummer to fit it on Saturday, which worked out well as it was the only time before Easter he could do it.
I then got a Tex on Thursday morning telling me the shower will be deviled on MONDAY. so I called up customer service to find out what was going on, this is where is all stated to go wrong.
First I had wait on hold for 55 mins to get through to customer service.
I told by the lady on the phone that there was nothing she could do and that it had been booked in wrong and should have been on a guaranteed delivery and that it had been booked in on with in 10 days delivery, When I pointed out that was not our fault she us just told us story nothing I can do in a aggressive and rude tone.
I ask to speak to a shop manager, (no manager there) so one will call me today around 5pm, I asked for there name she could not give me an answer. (seems strange that she does not know the names of the managers)
Then She blamed the sales assistant in they Edinburgh office and told me to call him.
I did he was not help at all and his tone just got more annoyed with me with me through the call and told me to call customer service again. I ask to speed to a manager, guess what no one there.
This is all so upsetting as now because with given the plummer less than 48 notice will still have to pay (£350) I have now a day off work that I dont ,
We will now have to save up again to pay for the installation this is hard for a small family.
Better Bathrooms attitude has been non sympathetic and unwilling to try and do any thing to help our family out.”
