One thing that was nice about better me app was the coach but that wasn’t enough to keep me past the 1 month free trial. I also ordered the BetterMe Band and it never turned on. My advice is to invest in a Fitbit as they have a similar app and Fitbit include a 6 month free subscription for Premium features with ALL types of exercises, guided meditations, and more! Don’t make my mistake, go buy the Fitbit instead and get more bang for your buck.

Better Me. Better Watch Out. Free Trial doesn't mean Free Trail. I stupidly thought they would notify me that the free trial was almost up and I was about to be charged. When the charge came through I contacted them the same day canceling my trial and asking for my money back. They refused but did offer another three months with a 50% return--which I refused. If I wanted to continue I wouldn't have canceled. In my opinion, the app has several downfalls, not including stretching in the warm up being one. Yes. I am capable of stretching but it doesn't change the fact that it's not part of the work out. I decided to cancel because I found I got a better workout without the app. For some people it might work beautifully but it wasn't my jam. And not getting my money back definitely wasn't my jam. The customer service was pathetic as well.

The exercises were good but almost impossible to cancel the subscription. Do not even get this app!

At the renewal I was charged $64.37 and I requested to cancel. The response was: "You are our customer, and we wish that you would stay with us. We can offer you to extend your license for additional 3 months. So, you will be able to use the service until October 2, 2023, and there should be no further charges moving forward. Also, we can provide you with a partial refund of 50% of the amount that you have paid for the last order. This way, you will receive 32.13 CAD back to your account. Would you like to take advantage of this offer?" I said yes. No response from Max, the billing specialist, no $32.13 back in my account. The above correspondence was on Apr 6, 2023 and today is May 1, 2023. Not happy at all.

I had taken the quiz and then picked the monthly plan. They charged my card 3 times for unnecessary reasons. I emailed them complaining about how I never received any confirmation email about my plans etc.. they said they don’t have my email on file.. which is confusing to me. But they don’t have any issues with charging me multiple times. I am waiting for a refund and I’m also contacting my bank.
