“I’m based in Indonesia, and since B&H does not ship directly to my country, I followed guidance from GPT to use a U.S. package forwarder. I first used a California-based forwarder, but during checkout the sales tax was quite high. Based on further GPT guidance, I then tried a second forwarder with a New Hampshire address where sales tax is lower. During this process of changing forwarding addresses and checkout attempts, B&H’s security system temporarily blocked my access. The situation was confusing but understandable given the security protections. Overall, B&H has excellent products and pricing, but international customers using freight forwarders should be prepared for extra steps and possible security checks.”

“B&H is always top notch. Wide selection of equipment. Reasonable prices (but not a discount store. So don't expect it.) Excellent service. Products always arrive when or before expected. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that sometimes the specifications are a bit lame. For example, the weight of an item is important when considering carrying equipment up and down stairs every gig. But weight is often not included--unless it's a heavy item. But even lugging small stuff adds up. Or what materials the item is made from--plastic or metal can make a big difference in the price/quality question. But still, B&H is my go to place for gear.”
