I was scammed by their insurance. I paid £1,500 for 36 months, and when I had issues with my car, their referred garage charged me £1,055. They only covered £365, providing numerous excuses.

I bought a Toyota CHR from Enfield Branch. The tyre pressure indicator appeared on the dash board when I was driving the car from back home from BMW. Even after inflating the tyres the indicator did not go off. When I contacted BMW they wanted me to take the car to the nearest Halfords or Quick fit for a diagnostic test. Both Halfords and Quick fit did not want to do any thing with BMW. When I contacted BMW I was given a list of garages to contact. Only one mobile mechanic agreed to come and diagnose the problem . The others simply refused to do any thing with BMW. The mechanic said that the tyre pressure sensors have been damaged by BMW when they changed the tyres. It took more than 2 weeks for him to get payment for his diagnostic test from BMW and even then they did not pay him his full invoice . He has sent a estimate for the repair and BMW is not willing to pay the full amount. He is refusing to carry out the repair. I have been trying to get the car repaired by BMW for the last 4 weeks without any successes. The BMW does not respond to my emails and when we went to Enfield branch they s said that is a sales branch not dealing with after sales. I bought the car when I was about to start a new job in the NHS. My job involves visiting patients in their homes. The car has given me lat of stress in addition to settling down in my new job. BMW has the worst customer care of the organisations i have dealt with in my life. I would not even recommend even my worst enemy to go to BMW. The sweet talk they give disappears as soon as they collect the money . If there is a problem with the car they treat you as their enemy.

I purchased a vehicle on 17.08.24. On the 22.08.24 it broke down. The vehicle was covered by a 3 month warranty through Big Motoring Warranty (Big MW) They arranged a tow truck and asked me to take it to my local garage. I took the car to the only garage which accepted warranty work and had immediate availability to look at the car. The garage confirmed that the car needed a starter motor. BigMW offered to pay 40% of the total cost and said I should pay the rest myself. How can I be expected to pay out hundreds of pounds on repairing a car that I have owed for 5 days. They argued that the part can be bought on Europarts for a ridiculously cheap sum. I have investigated this fact and it is totally untrue. The cheapest part on Europarts was more than double the value they offered. I called and emailed their after sales team, who replied with an automated email saying I would hear from them in 5 working days. After 5 days and no response, I called again and the case was 'escalated' but still no response. Even their 200 point check is questionable. I was told upon leaving that the pressure on the tyres and just been checked as I left with the vehicle. On the way home the pressure light came up. I drove straight to Kwikfit for a tyre check and was told the tyres had been pumped up to 45psi, when they should be at 32psi!! I have owed the car now for a total of 16 days and it has only worked for 4 days! I have written to Big Motoring World again and stated that I want to reject the car under the Consumer Act 2015 and receive a full refund or I will have to consider issuing a claim in the small claims court. Still no response. Absolutely diabolical after sales service. Will never use this company again! If I could give them no stars - it would still be too many! They try to get you to fill in their online review before you have leave the showroom. This can be the only way I can imagine they have the current review figures they do, as issues are highlighted after you leave and they don't care about resolving them as they already have your review! Steer clear!

Worst First and Last experience with Big Motoring World. Poor customer services. They just keep on giving different numbers to contact on and no one has a answer. The 200 checkpoint reports are quite questionable actually. After 2 weeks of purchase the dealership has no idea as when the car will be ready for collection. The bigassist email provided is just a quack tool. Nobody reaponds on that

We couldn’t even view a car we saw on line without be asked to sit down with a sales guy. I bought a car from Available Car that used to be where they are and it was 100% better and no pressure. What’s happened to the place. I can understand with today’s issues that they want to know who’s walking around their lot but to have to hassled by a sales person to even view a car. Will never go there again.

Well where do I start. Was promised they would repair my car, 1st booking received a call saying sorry we have no courtesy cars which I explained I needed as I also have a job to go to. 2nd booking once again got cancelled due to excuse of they have no insurance cover for courtesy car. 3rd booking , oh yes we have received authorisation to repair your car from your platinum warranty cover , bring your car in on Tues 27th and we will repair it that day. To then receive a call to say can't do it as the part we have in stock is faulty , so we will order a new 1 and do it tomorrow meaning 28th , to then once again get a phone call saying we can't fix your car due to us not having correct tools to do the job with , and that it was risky of them damaging other parts an if they did they expected me to pay for the damage they could have done...REALLY you break it you pay for it , but oh no instead they then contact my warranty company asking them to pay for a part that's not even broken just incase they did break it. WHY OH WHY would anyone pay for something or even repair something that's not broken. FRAUDSTERS is what they are. And then for the so called Manager KEVIN ROBERT SHAW to come out of his little den acting like he was 10 men , hands in his pockets to start with , throwing attitude out at us , coming across very RUDE, THREATENING & AGGRESSIVE , I don't think so mate, get ready for Motoring trading standards , finance company , FCA and ombudsman to contact your so called business. Also try telling you they are no longer part of The Car Shop but yet selling cars with Car Shop Reg plates on , giving you numbers to ring for the Car Shop , but Shock no answer. I will not drop this here I will and am taking further action. PLEASE DONT LET THESE FRAUDSTERS FOOL YOU INTO BUYING A CAR FROM THEM.

Where to even start, their warranty app is nothing short of terrible, half the functions don't even work full stop like trying to upload a photo, and they straight up ignore your claims when you even report them. I was completely mis-sold a warranty by Big Motoring World as they lied about what it covers, made a claim not even 2 months after buying a vehicle just to be told the part isnt covered under warranty, the vehicle is at 43k miles and 4 years old and the part isnt supposed to need replacing until 60k miles or 10 years. Their salesman explicitly told us that this part was covered under warranty before buying which was a lie. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BIG MOTORING WORLD CAR OR WARRANTY, they sell cars with hidden issues which will come to light within a few months of you buying the vehicle and then you will end up forking out hundreds or thousands from your own pocket as they find a way to get out of anything that their warranty is supposed to cover. They will never provide you a copy of the 200 point checks that they claim they do on each vehicle because this would tell the real story about the true condition of the car before buying, they claim these checklists are only seen and used by the engineer and they dont keep copies, this is a complete lie however as they would be leagally required to keep documentation like this for around 7 years, i work for a main dealer myself and know this is the case. Scamming joke of a company STAY WELL AWAY.

I am writing this review to save others from the pain and frustration we are currently experiencing. We bought a used car yesterday. Although we did a test drive, it was completely dictated and controlled by the salesman, so we couldn't detect the issues with the car. The salesman, LEWIS OLIVIER, pressured us, and we felt rushed into making a decision. We trusted him, which turned out to be a huge mistake. Now, I am convinced they knew the car was faulty, which is why they tried to offer us so many "advantages" to make the purchase. My husband drove the car from the dealership to Milton Keynes (approximately 60 miles), and he noticed a significant lack of power. The car struggled to exceed 50 miles per hour. Shortly after, it began making a strange noise, and visible smoke was emitting from under the hood. We know our rights, and they should allow us to return the car, cancel the finance contract, and give us a refund. However, we are skeptical that they will do the right thing. We have tried to contact the dealership, but they are now referring us to after-sales, which is obviously closed on Sundays. They responded to our emails, stating that it will take four working days to get back to us. I have a feeling they are just trying to delay things until the 30-day period passes, leaving us with no choice but to keep the car. We are a family of four, with two little children and another on the way, as I am pregnant. This situation is causing us significant distress and anxiety. I feel helpless, so I would greatly appreciate any help or valuable advice.

I would also agree with all the negative feedback. We was forced to buy the warranty. We flat out said no to warranty after 10 minutes of going in circles sales man went and got a manager. My wife gave into the pressure and brought the warranty. The car came with faulty head unit so we followed the warranty process only to be told sorry it cost too much we going send this back to big motoring world so the warranty is useless. It's nearly a month on and we got nowhere. We provided everything 3 weeks ago, we get occasional email asking for same thing over and over. What's the issue? What's the proof? Where's the quote? Whats there number? All this information was send day after we brought the car but still keep asking same question. When we brought the car we was told it just has service which turn out to be lie, we was told the wipers just been changed again lie, wipers are rusty and we had to buy new ones. We was told the warranty was up to the value of the car, guess what lie again. Icing on the cake is you can't speak to the after sales service. You call they will "take a message" to fob you off, no one ever calls back. Nearly month on not 1 call back. Iv given them 14 days otherwise going through small claims court. Luckily I have family law firm who can advice us. This guys are not worth trusting.

went in with a view to by a specific model car. salesman was useless, uninformed and apathetical. car wouldn't open other than drivers doors and had to figure out myself how to reset it to get the kids to try it. took for a 2 mile pootle on the normal roads and though it was ok. then the real lack of effort and care started. Pressure to spend 1k extra on warranty, then do the old "ill ask my manager for a reduction" then come back with pennies off and still rejected. Waited for ages for finance process, come to pay towards finance and "oh we don't accept credit cards" so scrambling to find debit card (because they know a credit card give you protection for defective goods but debit cards don't) finance team come out bark at you occasionally and wander off, no one explains anything and they literally abandon you waiting. after about 2.5 hours near stage to take car, kids have had to go home with mum as no end in sight. Sat waiting for staff to sort out collection and can see them on phones texting and laughing with customers sat beside them waiting, or flirting with sales staff. eventually get sorted with 2 mins before closing and they have the nerve to ask for you to give them a positive review. Get in car to drive out, security stop you and ask for a code, turns out the email/message you a code to get out but no one tells you that before hand so you have no idea what they are talking about, and with phone battery on 1% only just find it to be allowed to leave as told cant take car otherwise before phone dies. Drive 1 mile to motorway and get on and up to speed. after a couple of miles alarms are going off engine overheats and goes to limp mode. have to stop several times to try to cool it and try to get home which an 11 mile journey takes over an hour. Next morning the real fun begins. turns out they have staff for days to take your money but rejecting a defective not fit for purpose car, will take 5 days, and you can only email them as no one at branch or on a phone anywhere will do it. and you can only mail once, as if you chase it, it goes to the bottom of the pile (and they actually state this on the auto response!) You then spend hours on hold to speak to a team that will collect the unsafe un-drivable car back to them less than 12 hours after getting it. The collection company then says they cant take it as its not taxed (i taxed it before i left) so you have to then prove that you did before they will even arrange it, or you have to pay for the collection yourself upfront. Eventually sort out and the only good this is the local collection team are rapid and sort it, but these are not part of this firm. 3 days later get missed call from them but no one leaves voicemail, or follow up text. call them back and reception tell you it must be finance, but they're busy so wait for a call again. eventually call back and they ask me what i need from them and when you explain that someone called me they have no idea and palm you off to someone else that cant take a call so have to wait for another call. these guys are huge have 000s of cars but rebranded from Available Car. The staff are clueless and the epitome of stereo typical sales staff, just ram anything down anyone's throat and upsell warranties, cloth coverings and waxing for 000s. They act like cowboys and chancers to make it impossible to rectify issues. find a smaller family run independent dealer that works for your business not just plays at car dealing.

BEWARE THEY USE SECOND HAND PARTS ON WARRANTY CLAIMS Lets get the good points out of the way first, can,t fault the sales team. Sales staff were friendly and sale went smoothly. That's where it ends. After approx 5 months the engine management warning light came on. Rang the warranty team at Big Motoring World, took approx 40 mins to get through and was told that I had to pay for the diagnostics to be done and once that was done the garage had to submit the claim. I was told not to take it to a main dealer as they would not pay their costs. Was advised to take to Halfords or Kwik Fit but took it to my local garage who did the diagnostics and found the problem was a charcoal filter on the emissions system. He tried several times to get through to them but gave up so I said I would ring on his behalf. It took approx 40 mins to get through again. They would not deal with me insisting the garage called them with the quote. I explained he had tried several times hence my call still wouldn't deal with me. The eventually said he could email the quote through. A few days later he had not heard from them so emailed them again and I followed up with a calI and again ages to get through. They said they had not got the first email. They refused to pay the price for the part as they said they could get it cheaper and would only pay labour costs. The part arrived and it became clear why they could get it cheaper because it was a filthy second hand part stripped off another car. I rang for an explanation and after waiting ages to get through they said it was in the warranty that they could use refurbished parts. There's no way it was refurbished as there was still chopped off pipes attached to it. The mechanic was go smacked and said he had never come across this with warranties but fitted it anyway and now I wait to see how long it holds out. Bit peeved at having to pay for the diagnostics as clearly the fault fell under the warranty. Surely they should refund this as it was def faulty and they agreed it was covered. At one point after making several calls they suddenly decided they would not deal with me as my wife was the actual warranty holder. She had to contact them to tell them I could deal on her behalf. Big Motoring World had the audacity to say I should make the complaint and not to them when it was they who sold it to me and the app to make a claim is called ' Big Motoring World Warranty Assistance Division'. At no point when they sold it did they mention this. Please think twice about taking a warranty out with this company as they are a nightmare to deal with and use second hand parts

Avoid at all cost Reserved a car in Kent, 100+ mile drive away from us. Realised that we wouldn’t be able to travel to view within the three days limit so phoned and we were told they would cancel the reservation and we should rebook the reservation on Thursday which we did. On the Friday we received a phone call to say that “the system” would not allow us to reserve the same car twice and they would cancel the second reservation. After lengthy discussion when we were told we couldn’t speak to a manager the person speaking to us put the phone down. When we rang back a new person said that because of the confusion we could reserve it and we did that. When we arrived to view the car (three years old) it had no service history but he reassured us that “it wasn’t a legal requirement “. As it invalidated the manufacturer warranty we decided not to proceed. They had a similar car in stock so we decided to view that although it had only one key. The car looked as if it had never been cleaned, seats were stained and it smelled unpleasant. We left. Two weeks later we are still waiting for the return of our two deposits which they say was due to a “banking problem” I wouldn’t go anywhere near them.

Went to view a car at West Malling site car was presented to me to view in a disgusting state smelt of wet dog and cigarettes and had dog hair in all the carpets. I complained about the state of the car and was told it had just come in and hadn’t been valeted yet (lie) car had been on there site for at least 4 weeks . Then I was offered £1500 less then trade for my car but told I could get more if I excepted to take out extras like extended warranties etc . I walked out in disgust and went to another car dealership they offered me full px allowance plus£300 because my car was in exceptional condition for age with very low mileage against the same car for the same price but lower mileage and 6 months newer also no admin charge. No hassle about extras just sold me the car with 6 months warranty . Big motoring world in my opinion is just a flash looking old school dodgy car dealership that is run by crooks taking advantage of people . Avoid at all cost you will regret it if you buy a car from them .

Shame there isnt an option for 0 star review! The after sales team are rude! The warranty team are also rude! Bought a car outright from west malling December 2023 straight away after getting home the tyre pressure light comes on… check the tyres they have puncture repaired the tyre and not disclosed the information with us. Tried to make a complaint they didnt want to know but thought wed let it slide as it was only a tyre … we are now in july 2024 so 7 months of having the car the car goes into limp mode and the engine management light comes on. Once again report the fault and they say to take it to a local garage for diagnostic , done this and turns out its turbo failure. Not what u expect from a new car really is it! The garage asked where we bought the car from so we told them and they said under no circumstances will they ever touch a car from big motoring world due to the fact they DONT like paying out even though the car is under warranty. Rung 14 garages to try get the car seen as the snodland service again absolutely horrendous and staff so rude!! And every single garage rejecting us because the car is from big motoring world! We even rung the garages they sent us via email that they work with and they said that they dont work alongside them so unsure why they told us to call them! Anyway the car isnt even driveable I have a new born baby and have just spunked 14grand up the wall because a “ main dealership “ are nothing but a bunch of scammers how this place has not been shut down due to the lack of experience and rude staff is beyond me! Reading the reviews on here seems like no one has one good thing to say about them! I will be taking legal action against these bunch of con artists they havnt heard the last of me!

I would urge anyone thinking of taking out a Big Motoring World Warranty to think again. Near impossible to contact and deal with. Where do I start? First let’s get the positives out of the way. The car sales side I cannot fault, staff were friendly and the sale of the 1 year warranty seemed ok. That’s the good bit done. Less than 3 months after purchase the engine management warning light came on. I rang Big Motoring World Warranties ( took 40 mins to get through) and was told I had to get the diagnostics done and pay for it but I could not take it to a main dealer as they would not pay their costs. I was advised to use someone like Halfords or Kwik Fit but I took it to my local mechanic instead who ran the diagnostics and located the problem to a charcoal filter on the emissions system. As per their instructions he rang them with the quote for the part and labour but could not get through. He tried them several times so I said I would ring them on his behalf, again approx 40 mins to get through. When I eventually got through they would not take the quote off me and said the garage had to ring them. I explained the difficulties getting through to them and that he ran a busy garage but they said contact had to come from the garage. They said he could email it through. I rang my garage to see if he had heard anything but he hadn't so he emailed them again, I also rang them and they said they had only just got it that day. They replied saying they could not accept the quote as they could provide the part required cheaper and would only pay the fitting costs. The part arrived and the reason the warranty company could provide it cheaper became clear because it was a second hand part that the was in a filthy condition. It still had part of the old pipes attached where it had been cut off the previous car, so could not have been tested for reliability. I rang them for an explanation, another 40 mins to get through and all they said was it was in the warranty agreement and after asking about guarantees on the part they said that the part was only guaranteed for the length of the warranty. Bizarrely after the third or fourth call to them they suddenly decided they could not deal with me and could only deal with my wife who was the warranty holder and she had to contact them to allow me to deal on her behalf. Also why should you have to pay for the diagnostics? The car clearly had a problem which they accepted so surely diagnostics costs should be refunded once the car has been proved faulty and the fault is covered by the warranty.
