I purchased a car from this company and 36M warranty as they promised I would never have any issues n case I would need a repair. firstly, i spent 5! hours at them whule buying the car. This was because they tried to offer me stuff I told them I did not want. But their sellers were very pushy. Later on, my car had an issue and required ECM replacement. At that time I realised they did not provided me with any t&c documents withing the documentation. I apllied to the warranty 2000 and received a very weird document. However, they pais £2024 from £2600 I had to pay for a ECM replacement. In a week, the throttle body had to be replaced. £1124 requested from the official garage and the warranty company only authorised £124. this was £75 for labour and the rest for the aftermarket detail. They wanted the official garage to use it. Of course, no reputable garage would take this offer. Warranty2000 then said they would advise the other garage which they never did so i stayed without my car for a while and was literally forced to repair it for my own money. Scammers! You should know that you do not need any warranty at all! As a customer, you have 6 years for a dealer (Big motoring World) to either repair your car for free or give you your money back for a car (minus milage). Do not buy any warranty - this is a scam! And would never ever come to this dealer again

Cars at Big motoring world tend to be cheaper than some other similar dealers, the reason for this is that they get you into the showroom try to sell you the warranty which are a ridiculous price. I was asked multiple times over a 2-hour period if I was interested in an extended warranty, and alloy cover. I had no interest in these extras, but it was constantly pushed. ended up being in the showroom for 5 hours!! Eventually I purchased the car, and 2 days later the car developed a fault. I thought this would not be a problem as all their cars come with a standard 90-day warranty. I logged the fault on their app and checked the status 2 days later to find the claim had been closed. I called to find out why this was and no member of staff within the business could tell me why. I received a call 8 days later and was told that I would have to drive my car a 70-mile round trip to get the fault diagnosed. was told that there was an ongoing issue with the app. That there was a backlog which is why it took so long to get back to me. basically, every excuse. This is what big motoring work quote on their website "Worry-Free Motoring What better feeling is there to know that we have your car covered as soon as you leave our dealership" "Efficient Service We’re big on what matters to you. Therefore, we know how important it is to get your car back up and running as soon as possible." This is far from the truth, and I would advise anyone to stay well clear of this business

Purchased a 2021 SEAT Ateca in August 2025 that developed faults shortly after. While that could happen to any used car, it's Big Motoring World's disgraceful handling of the situation that warrants this review. At Sheffield branch diagnosed the issue, arranged the repair process, and explicitly promised full reimbursement when I followed their technical team's instructions to get it fixed at JCT600 SEAT Menston (Case ID: 5626). I have this promise in writing. Despite completing the repair as they directed and submitting all invoices, they've completely failed to honor their reimbursement promise. My case was marked "under review" on 09/09/2025 with zero communication since then. Multiple email reference numbers (518868, 530990, 535855) but no resolution. I'm now pursuing this through The Motor Ombudsman and considering legal action. Under Consumer Rights Act 2015, dealers must bear repair costs for faults present at sale - this isn't optional. The car itself is fine now, but BMW's business practices are appalling. They make promises they won't keep and ignore customers once they have your money. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere. UPDATE: Currently escalating through Motor Ombudsman as Big Motoring World refuses to respond to legitimate reimbursement requests. Email trail and case references available if anyone needs evidence of their poor practices.

This is the AI response when you search "BIG MOTORING WORLD REVIEWS" on Google! Reviews for Big Motoring World are highly negative, with customers reporting issues such as the sale of dangerous and unroadworthy vehicles, poor customer service, being pressured into purchases, and problems with refunds. There are numerous documented cases of customers finding serious, undisclosed faults with cars shortly after purchase, and complaints suggest the company's advertised "200-Point Vehicle Inspection" is often not a thorough check. The company has even been suspended from Trustpilot for offering incentives for positive reviews. Common Customer Complaints Unsafe Vehicles: Many customers report being sold cars with significant, unroadworthy faults, such as worn brakes, dangerous steering issues, and other damage that was hidden from them. Poor Customer Service: Staff have been described as having bad attitudes, being unhelpful, lying about car history, and pressuring customers into buying add-ons or making a purchase. Dishonest Practices: Some customers feel they were deceived about the true condition of the vehicle or its history, with a significant discrepancy between the company's claims and the reality. Difficulty with Returns/Refunds: There are widespread reports of customers experiencing significant difficulty in obtaining refunds or having the company take back cars with serious faults. Misleading Inspections: The promised "200-Point Vehicle Inspection" has been questioned, with claims that only a fraction of these points are actually checked. Evidence of Issues Suspension from Trustpilot: Big Motoring World was suspended from Trustpilot in August 2025 for offering monetary incentives to encourage positive reviews, a breach of their guidelines. Customer-led Complaint Groups: There are active Facebook groups where customers share their experiences and seek advice, highlighting the extent of the issues. Media Reports: YouTube videos and articles on sites like Car Dealer Reviews detail extensive negative experiences. Recommendation Based on the volume and severity of negative reviews, it is strongly advised to exercise extreme caution if considering buying a car from Big Motoring World.

They give you a free 90 days warranty. Waste of time. My Advice to Everyone, is pay a bit extra and go to dealers or a proper garage who gives you a minimum of 12 months warranty for free

I purchased an Audi three months ago, and after the sale, I encountered an ABS problem. My car has been in the garage for a month now, and no one can provide a proper answer regarding the repairs. I spent a lot of money, and I feel like I've wasted it. I highly advise against purchasing a car from Big Motoring. Their approval process takes more than five days, and they do not provide a courtesy car. Also, do not purchase their warranty.

I bought a Mercedes CLA180 in March 2025 and within just a few months the car developed serious electrical problems. It completely broke down and now requires major repairs. For such a new and expensive vehicle, this is utterly unacceptable. What has made the experience even worse is the way I have been treated since reporting the problems. Instead of dealing with the issue properly, I have been fobbed off repeatedly, with no meaningful resolution offered. A Mercedes should be reliable, but this car has been nothing short of a nightmare. I expected far better from Big Motoring World. Selling a car that fails so quickly and then failing to support the customer is appalling. Buyers deserve to know that my experience with this CLA180 has been one of constant faults, frustration, and poor aftercare. I would strongly urge anyone considering a purchase here to think very carefully before parting with their money.

Big motoring world tried to sell me a car with cosmetic paint damage and the inner wheel arch missing! They have now had their trust pilot account frozen due to bribery. Payment for false 5* reviews. Please leave a 1* review if applicable as they have got away with this for far to long. Please see " BIG MOTORING WORLD COMPLAINTS- UNOFFICIAL" on Facebook with 6700 members and rising all unhappy Big Motoring World customers.
