“If you need to return any goods, you have to bear the cost. This is the first time that happens to me. So, I got a too large pair of trouser for ~65€, since they dont fit, I want to return them, but I need to pay ~30€ to get rid of them! This is non-sense to me.

“Scammers and liars. I bought a helmet, it came damaged and scuffed. I sent an email with a photo that they claimed they didn't have. They only replied to emails without a photo, when I sent a photo, nothing. Then they stopped responding completely. I don't understand how such a company can function in Germany, shame of the nation.”
“Absolutely awful service. I ordered mtb cleats plus a cleat adaptor and, since I work from home, waited for them to be delivered. The delivery day came and went and the parts ordered did not come. I contacted them and was told that the parts did arrive, a lie. I replied harshly that I was there the whole day and nobody rang a bell. They supplied a document as “proof” of delivery with a name (not mine) and signature (again not mine). Bunch of useless idiots , shop here at your own peril!”
“Nem a megfelelő árut küldték a csomagban, és amikor ez jeleztem, abszolút nem korrigálták a hibát, sőt, el sem ismerték, hogy rossz terméket küldek. Arra hivatkoztak, hogy szerintük azt küldték, amit rendeltem, nem értik a problémát. Nem korrekt csapat, borzasztó hozzászólás a vásárlókhoz. Többszöri levélváltás, panasz után sem oldódott meg. Senkinek sem ajánlom a vásárlást erről a honlapról! Full átbaszás az egész! Inkább drágábban kell vásárolni egy megbízható boltból/honlapról, mint olcsón egy hiányos terméket tőlük. Egy nagy adag bosszankodástól kímélheti meg magát az ember!”
“I bought a carbon mountain bike and after two months I realized that there is cracked paint in the frame.
Customer service immediately react and offered me a new frame (a different color) I refused it because I did not like the color.
They provided me with a new frame (within 30 days) with the same color and they sent me money for bike conversion. So I missed my lovely bike only for 2 days 😊.
They have surprisingly quick reactions and a very professional approach.

“I've ordered a helmet for EUR 345,-. They delivered different item, used, damaged, and dirty - with saliva on it. To return a package I had to spend my time and money delivering the package back, so I just lost $40 by ordering from them.

“We bought 2 expensive Radon e-bikes. They were both returned to have faults repaired. We got them back 2 months later, still not fixed. I have had local reputable bike shops verify the faults but Bike Discount customer service tells me they were fixed. They have had our €7000 almost 4 months and we are sitting with faulty bikes being told by customer service that we are talking nonsense despite verification from reputable bike shops. Disgusting service. I will have to take the legal route.”
“Don’t get fooled!!! Worst service ever!!! You lucky if you get your parcel! Still waiting after 2weeks for a delivery in Portugal. In future I rather order from Amazon.de, Amazon.es or Bikester.se, pay extra 10%. Best part is the support center will tell you “it’s your fault for there delays”!! “Their factory staff are nice, their order management people are nice, their support / back of house / accounts team - never in the field of human endevours has it ever been so stressful to pay. They didnt take my payment quick enough from amazon pay, so Amazon put a hold on the payment, i offered to then pay direct with card, but they cannot handle this. I offered to drive to their offices and pay with other means and was told this wasnt possible, and the only way i could now pay is with a bank transfer. But they wont provide the details, and will not provide a gaurentee if i perform a bank transfer.

I returned my purchase asking for a refund, and bike-discount has sent me a replacement instead "w.t.f?" Now they are delaying my refund arguing they have to receive first, the refused by my replacent. I regret a lot this purchase”
“I try to refrain from giving reviews with low ratings, but Bike Discount DE really need to step up. While their pricing is fine, woe betide anyone needing customer support. They ignore you. I've had goods arrive missing, damaged, etc from their shipping department doing worse than a toddler with duct tape. They try and shift blame to the shipper when it is the terrible packaging etc BD use. I get similar products from their competitors and they have a professional shipping department, not one run by amateurs. Try placing low rating reviews in TrustPilot and they block them; likewise for the products they sell. It explains why TrustPilot [who really need a rocket under them for allowing this self policing rort to continue] gives Bike Discount a good star rating; it's easy if BD act as a gatekeeper to poor rating reviews. So, only use BD if you can be assured you're happy to have missing products or damaged products arrive. I can only wonder how poor their service will be with warranties. I'm giving them a wide berth until they have a massive culture change and I recommend others do so too.”
“Do not use this company. I have had months of one terrible experience after another. I emailed their customer support in september to order some bikes.
I emailed to request if they actually held the stock that was showing on their website. Their response was that the website was correct and the bikes were in stock.
I then ordered three expensive bikes as they showed in stock.
I then received an email to say that actually the bikes were not in stock and there is a three month wait. I accepted that.
The three month wait then turns into a four month wait. I accepted that.
Then I receive an email cancellating the order citiing Brexit as the reason. I am able to provide a different shipping address in the EU but this wasnt an option that bike-discount.de would accept. I could arrange my own shipping, not an option bike-discount.de would accept, blaming our government for the issue.
"We are sorry for the inconvenience, but please do not blame us. We will also loose a lot of money because of all this. If you government had done anything in time we would have been able to adapt but now just a week left and still everything is totally unclear." - Their own words.
I would suggest, this order has actually been cancelled because they have been unable to get stock and brexit feels like an appropriate excuse.
The bikes are not due with March so there is plenty of time to see what the latest talks uncover.
This has left me 3 months down the line without any bikes.

“Battery for new electric bike was badly damaged on delivery. Bike-discount.de was immediately notified of problem but will not respond to complaint despite multiple attempts. Issue was originally notified over 3 weeks ago.
I now have a two-and-a-half thousand euro bike that does not work and the retailer is not responding.
Terrible experience and terrible customer service.”
