Terrible customer service on internet order. Took several days to process order, charged the wrong amount, then made me do all the running around to try to fix it. They couldn't care less the problems it caused me. On the day they said the items would arrive they hadn't even processed the order. Incompetent with astounding arrogance. I'm currently $484 out of pocket and trying to get my money back through my bank. If I could give less than a 1 star review I would have.

A horrible experience of my partners first keyboard which should of been excellent! I bought the keyboard as a gift, but when the keyboard arrived it wasn’t the weighted keys one as it needed. I went to exchange it and was immediately told by Virn no with no explanation but just a screenshot of their clause of no change of mind. I wondered how does that work with Australian consumer law, but I requested an exchange for a more expensive keyboard. I was made to fill out a additional form when I requested management, which I took photos to show it’s still unused in the box, which Cherry replied back the same sterile no. Please beware of this before your purchase, I will be buying more musical items but not from them, simple customer service is so far removed from their business! After my review on Google, Craig replied back with an email address for me to reach out, a true showing of the companies lack of understanding and general customer service. I've contacted and spoken to two people in your company and named them, I'm the customer and you want me to reach out when you have all the details? A very bad experience on a keyboard that's boxed an unused.

Terrible experience. It would be faster to learn how to make your own guitar and then build it from scratch, than find service in this store. Arrived at 3:45pm (closes at 5) there was 3 people serving in the whole shop. All attending customers. As for the sales guys who served me, for his sake let’s hope it was his first day as he spent 10 mins “out the back” looking for my click and collect and couldn’t find a guitar.. 10 mins later 8 staff walk out drinking coffee. Who has a break with 1 hour untill closing? 10 mins goes by before one decides to ask “you ok mate?” Not can I help you? Eventually I explain I had a click and collet order that by the look on the sales guys face must have said weapons grade plutonium as he “had to speak to the manager” 15 mins after that the manager decides it’s important enough for him to attend to. And try’s to explain that my order is strange. Who would have thought I would order a guitar from a guitar shop? He tells me it will take him a couple of mins to sort out. 10 mins later he returns with a guitar in a case and goes here you go. Makes a crappy joke. Then tells me to “enjoy.” As if after all of their incompetence I would leave without checking the guitar. Finally I had a guitar in my hands after an hour. Suffice to say that if this was the last guitar shop in Melbourne I would give up playing rather then darken their doorway again. I makes me feel sick that a company who employs these guys gets to keep the margin they made on a already overpriced guitar. If I spent $200 maybe I could expect service that bad but $2k. I got ripped..

Guitar was delivered without gig bag and case candy. Had to complain to get gig bag delivered which was rolled up in a ball. Not happy!!

I was sent the wrong capo, I received a banjo capo and doesn’t work properly on my guitar like the one I ordered would have

Upon purchasing a wireless system. The quality was terrible. I thought perhaps it was faulty. However upon returning it to be inspected, I was then informed that it worked exactly as it should and a trade in, upgrade or refund was not aloud. Now, I essentially have a $250 piece of junk. Definitely will not be doing business with Billy Hyde again!

After buying a WL20L wireless for my guitar. The signal would frequently drop out, making it unusable for gigs. Believing perhaps there was a fault, upon retiring the product, I was told there was no fault and it works exactly how it should. Not sure if this product is terrible or faulty. But either way I now posses a $300 price of junk. Will definitely not be using Billy Hyde again. Very poor customer service.

Sent the wrong case, than tried to charge me extra GST for an equivalent different branded Gato case. Took several emails before they accepted their 2nd ERROR. Took 4 weeks to get delivery which another company supplied me the Ibanez correct case in 4 days from ordering to arriving to me.

It seems your some of your staff don't know the products you sell. That would be the only explanation for sending me a guitar case to suit a bass guitar a Ibanez MB300c when I ordered and was invoiced for Electric guitar case which was a Ibanez M300C. Very disappointing service.

Buyer beware, Billy Hyde’s return policy is not what it seems. They will hit you with a 20% restocking fee even if the item does not perform as advertised. Will never purchase from them again.

Waited over two weeks for delivery. It wasn’t till I called after one week to find out it was still in warehouse. Yet I was told via email it had been sent one week earlier.

Worst in-store pickup service I've experienced.To find out after order placement your ,vague "not instant" means coming from outside store stock by slowest courier ever is unacceptable.Has turned me off store completely.
