The site says over $250 free delivery,,but I was charged $28 for spending $510,,so far no reply to the email I sent ,,not happy.

I recently purchased a synthesizer from Billy Hyde Music Nunawading during their Black Friday sale, selecting the "Click and Collect" option after seeing that one new unit was listed in stock and multiple available "Online". Before making the trip, I called the store to confirm the item was new, and they assured me it was as ex demo models are clearly marked on the site and not counted as stock on the site. After driving over 50 kilometres to collect it, I was greeted by the staff member who recalled our conversation and went out back to grab my item. After 10-15min and what looked like a concerned conversation with another staff member, I was handed a visibly used display model. It had scratches, no box, and box tape stuck to the unit. They didn’t even bother to clean or dust it before presenting it to me. When I raised these issues, the staff rudely insisted the price I paid was for a display model—despite the listing and invoices clearly stating it was a new item. I was then backed into a corner, with the staff essentially telling me it was "take it or leave it." To add insult to injury, I was dismissively told, "You're still getting a good deal." This behaviour not only violated consumer rights but also blatantly contradicted their Black Friday sale promise on their website: "BLACK FRIDAY - Our pricing displayed is no gimmicks, no 'was/now' tricks - just straight-up, already discounted deals!" Their actions showed a complete lack of integrity and respect for customers. Misleading advertising, unprofessionalism, and the outright refusal to resolve the issue made this experience utterly unacceptable. Even when I asked to speak with the manager, he refused to come out and address my concerns. After refusing to accept the item, I reached out to their online team who acknowledged the error, however after asking to be provided with the item I paid for which was for a new unit, they claimed it is no longer available and cannot be ordered therefore nothing can be done, They even laughed at my concerns. I will never shop here again, and I strongly warn others to avoid this retailer unless you’re prepared to risk being treated in the same dismissive and unethical manner as soon as something goes wrong. This is no longer the respected business it once was. It’s a shame they have turned an iconic name into what is now a disappointing shadow of its former self, characterized by misleading practices, poor customer service, and a lack of professionalism.

I will NEVER order from Billy Hyde again because of the disgraceful delivery service. Sent 2 tracking numbers for the 1 order and neither of them show up on the carrier's website , which happens to be Aramex, the carrier with the worst reputation in Australia. 5 days later the only communication I've had is "awaiting collection from warehouse". What a load of BS. When I called , the person I spoke to said the items were coming from 2 different stores. My personal belief is that the mythical warehouse does not exist. 1 star is 1 too many.

I made several successful investments with this broker Netteler before losing 80% of my savings to the trading broker. It cost me so much money and pain to invest in a broker that was not even real. But All thanks to, Mac Wiki for helping recover all my losses  back  '' macwiki @ proton. me '' am currently investing with bofa { bank of America } because they are reliable. is better to invest with your banks than investing online in an online broker it make people to lose there hard earn funds life is too short to lose your savings. God help us all.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER PURCHASE. I purchased a Fender Hot Rod amplifier from them online. When I received the amp it was making a terrible crackling noise. I took video of it and sent it to them and they agreed it was faulty and they said I could send it back for a refund. A week later I recieved an email from them saying it initially made a crackling noise however they believe it was just from dust on the tubes inside it and they blew it out . They then said I would have to pay a restocking fee if I wanted a refund. I had to threaten them with legal action to get my full refund.

What a joke. Guitar was never in stock, only a demo model. Took over 3 weeks to come. I had to contact them after 4 days to see why it hadnt been shipped. Didnt offer a discount for a demo guitar either when their webite said brand new. Siad they would send it that day but never did. Absolute joke

I, European, bought a gift to Australian, a guitar. She calls the store manager, gives her information for a pickup. He emails me saying he can't give her guitar due to not enough information to verify her identity. Like what? She called you. He tells her, because I'm European, I'm probably a fraud and will do a chargeback.... Ethnic discrimination for the win, dave Maxwell.

first dealings with bh nunawading. new to guitar. went in to buy some strings etc. guy asked me if i knew what i wanted and said no i was just learning. from then on he kept on trying to sell me their string setups and servicings. as i am on pension i said i just wanted some strings at this stage. he got very unhelpful at this stage and said its down to people to know what they like! he didnt seem inclined to offer any advice past that and grabbed a brand and that was that. I wont ever go back the bh

Spent a week talking and organising buyinga guitar. paid in full. I got no updates so I chased up only to be told it was sold to someone else! Didn't even have the decency to call me to tell me. I had to keep calling! Disgusting!!! Then thy said would i like to have the money go to another guitar!! seriously!! you want me to spend more money at your store!! no way!!! I will never buy from you again!

the experience i have had with Billy Hyde has put me, and everyone else i know who is musical, off shopping from them again. the guy who served me at the front desk (Adelaide) early January was extremely rude and unhelpful so much so that I walked out and opted for a cheaper product from the online store. the online store was even worse to deal with. meant to ship in 24 hours and waited over a week for my order to be confirmed and several more days for it to be dispatched to only receive it on the 31st (ordered on the 13th). i attempted multiple times to contact the online store and couldn’t get through (and the Melbourne store was extremely unhelpful). the only reason there is a star is for the team member in the Adelaide drum department who made an effort to contact the online department for me. he was excellent and got back the next morning however the parcel was delivered a week after he estimated it would arrive. really disappointed

I was sent the wrong item and after many emails, photos, filling out the ridiculously long 'wrong order forms' I'm now being ignored. No attempts were made to replace it, refund or exchange. It was not my error, this should have been resolved months ago. Its ruined a birthday, caused a lot of addition stress. Appallingly service.

This review is for the online store only. They use Aramex delivery here in SA. They are terrible and I don’t know why Billy Hyde continue to use them. I spoke to a guy in the BH Web dept. and he said his management know about these problems. Aramex tracking updates are inaccurate and fabricated. Dec. 29th my item was “out for delivery”. Didn’t arrive. Dec. 30th again “out for delivery”. Didn’t arrive but this time tracking said “tried to deliver but no-one home to receive it”. I was home all day and my husband was actually working out the front of our house all day so we know no-one tried to deliver. Tracking also said they’d left a calling card. Nope, they did not! Had to then go through some palaver with Billy Hyde Online dept. to get a re-delivery. Such a waste of time. I may as well have driven the 40km to the store and got my item in person. I will never order anything online from Billy Hyde again. A No Confidence vote from me!

Went to the Nunawading store several months ago - was greeted by Jazz and Jordan in the Music Tech Department on level 2 (which sells keyboards, synthesisers, etc). For someone who is admittedly quite clueless when it comes to high tech musical gear…..I couldn’t be more delighted with the service I received! Jazz explained the best product I needed (PreSonus DAW). When I went back cos I couldn’t work it properly at home, Jordan went all out to show me in-store how to use it. Never felt rushed, intimidated or made to feel ‘dumb’. The level of patience and their knowledge is extra-ordinary compared to today’s fast-paced, “get ‘em in, get-em to spend their money, get-em out quick” mentality that you are often confronted with in other stores! Cannot recommend highly enough!!

I ordered something from their website on Black Friday. It said the delivery needed 3-7 workings when I ordered it. It's been two weeks, and I received nothing. There is no tracking number. I left a message on their website to enquiry about the status, but I am still waiting for a reply. I called their service number and waited for about 30 mins, and it ended up cutting off the line. All in all, it was a horrible experience! I do not recommend their online store.

Oder an item, thought I found a good deal and payment made on a friday, then receive multiple emails over the weekend from various persons saying that the item is discontinued and that I need to pay more for an alternative item (when the alternative item is available elsewhere for $80 cheaper). All was offered was 'apologies please pay more' and blaming me that I ordered an item that was 'on backorder' or 'not available' when the company readily admitted in the first instance that they had made the mistake, not me. I asked to escalate to the kind operaitons manager that emailed me upon order placement to thank me for buying local....and...before his reply was received I already had a refund notice from paypal! PS the item was confirmed as in stock prior to placing the order.... Rubbish service, other than from (presumably given the weekend activities) overseas based call centre ready to blame their shortcomings on their customers.

I was charged twice $2089 for a guitar I bought. It’s like pulling teeth trying to get the money back! Dishonest and despicable! i’m still waiting for my refund!

Terrible customer service on internet order. Took several days to process order, charged the wrong amount, then made me do all the running around to try to fix it. They couldn't care less the problems it caused me. On the day they said the items would arrive they hadn't even processed the order. Incompetent with astounding arrogance. I'm currently $484 out of pocket and trying to get my money back through my bank. If I could give less than a 1 star review I would have.

wow, i bought the epiphone les paul and it is beautiful looking and great quality, it's a piece of Art!. the flame top is much better than the photo's in the ad and the binding is perfect. i will be buying the SG next because i got a great deal on the LP. billy hydes showroom is amazingly large, i could spend an easy half a day just looking at everything.
