“Only issue, and this has been the case before, is that one person does not know what the other is doing. Goes to how things are processed. If Larry is not in today, gone for lunch, or at the boat show, an immediate request can not be processed. Needed to call three times for the latest order, not this order, it arrived great and on time but the order after this one. Finally had to UPS it to get it on time. It came very quickly however. Maybe if information on each order was more completely recorded or more job sharing?”

“We appreciate all the services and products from Binnacle. Prices are very competitive with free shipping across the country to Victoria. Our only problem is Binnacle’s choice of UPS which is slow in responding to requests for updates and unilaterally decides to deliver to Access Point locations rather than door delivery. No reflection on Binnacle, but perhaps offer an option of another carrier.”

“Would give it a five but one item not in stock so it was delayed. It was still nice to get it before Christmas. All items were correct.”

“Everything arrived as planned, but the West System 105-B Epoxy Resin container was damaged and leaking resin in the box. The can was packed on its side with no bubble or foam padding, which is probably not the best shipping procedure for this dangerous product. These cans should be wrapped in a ziplock bag, padded, and packed upright. Binnacle asked me to review their service, and I told them what happened (here). Binnacle promptly compensated me for lost resin (and inconvenience) and apologised. I would purchase the same products again from them.”

“No problem with shipping receiving. Can of epifanes was badly bent side and bottom. After first use lid did not seal back fully on can. So a skin deeveloped. After stirring the skin tended to mix back into the fluid. After coating second time finished piece was excellent. Had to hammer lid hard onto can. All is well so far. Project is 60 per cent complete 3 coats both sides. Tony Barr”
