“Order was fine, delivery was poor. Too large a truck and order placed in farm yard which doesn’t belong to me and not in my driveway, leaving me to move the whole load by myself, which didn’t amuse me. I had specifically requested a smaller truck. This request was ignored.”

“Excellent website , very easy to order and a very quick order confirmation received. Quick delivery. The best briquettes I have used , (pini Kay hardwood) . They are slightly more expensive than the ones we used to buy, but they burn very slowly with super heat and are more efficient therefore and better value. .”

“A fast and efficient service with very good quality heat logs. The only disappointed delivery I have experienced was with one purchase of oak heat logs. These were crumbly and fell apart when handled. However all other deliveries of spruce logs were to the usual high standard and I continue to order these in preference to the oak.”

Thank you for your feedback. Oak heat logs can be crumbly because oak is a very hard species of timber and difficult to compress. We continually review our product lineup and take customer opinions into account when deciding on our product range; we also offer sample packs so that the customers can make their own decision. We have certainly taken note of your review - thanks for taking time to share your opinion.

“The RUF bricketts I ordered arrived on time but disappointingly I was not contacted the hour before as promised. This meant that the pallet was left out in the rain for a couple of hours unnecessarily. Fortunately few of the bricketts were damaged but it might not have been the case if the weather was worse.”

“The RUF briquettes are excellent. Two years ago i swapped from using coal. These energy dense briquettes have been a very good carbon neutral substitute for coal in my multi fuel stoves. Highly recommended.”

“Price was better than elsewhere, useful to see the £/MJ comparison. When the pallet arrived, the driver told me that he'd been given it with one of its bottom slats off, meaning that it was very unstable. I had to help get it off the lorry, then when we finally got it to the driveway, it fell over on its side and spread the bricks everywhere. Not particularly impressed with that.”

“Oak Nestro Wood Briquettes. Bioglow were efficient enough, however the oak briquettes are relatively fast burning and clearly lack the compression of other / similar items. I have use heat logs for about 10 years and have tried in excess of 12 different types. I can only rate these as average. There is significant expansion on burning and after a time they collapse on touching. the cost however is competitive.”

“What terrific service. Ordered in afternoon delivered next day burning in afternoon. Been burning wood briquettes since 6 years now and these are definitely the best yet! Will definitely be ordering more for next winter. The delivery firm also need to be mentioned the driver could not do enough to put exactly where I wanted the pallet in my garage, A really excellent service! Cheers Murray”
