“Pellets fine. Delivery good. Shame your invoice doesn't include the BSL number, which anyone on the RHI scheme will need. I had to make contact to request it.”

“Good company which responds promptly. Pricing is competitive. Good range of fuels available.”

“Delivery was a day earlier than we expected, but it went well and driver was extremely pleasant and helpful. Logs give really great heat, easy to light, low amount of ash but very dirty to handle. Also some mildew present which suggests they may have been stored in damp conditions prior to delivery.? Might try one of your other products next time to see if they are cleaner to handle.”

“Good website ordering. Arrived within 2 days (north of Scotland). Well packed on pallet; plenty of wrapping. I pack had broken blocks. But usable anyway. Burn well and using less than last supplier. A wee bit dusty; better stored in bag in house to avoid dust. Excellent low ash content.”

“Bioglow logs give out a good heat. When burning they expand by about 60% so don't put too many logs on at once, its useful to break them in half before you put them on otherwise expansion may push burning material up against the glass of the stove. There is quite a lot of dust off them. They come wrapped in polythene. They are quite heavy. We order 80 packs of 5. The pallet tipped when the delivery lorry was trying to unload and I ended up having to use a wheel barrow to bring them in. They are more cost effective than hardwood logs.”

“Order was fine, delivery was poor. Too large a truck and order placed in farm yard which doesn’t belong to me and not in my driveway, leaving me to move the whole load by myself, which didn’t amuse me. I had specifically requested a smaller truck. This request was ignored.”

“A fast and efficient service with very good quality heat logs. The only disappointed delivery I have experienced was with one purchase of oak heat logs. These were crumbly and fell apart when handled. However all other deliveries of spruce logs were to the usual high standard and I continue to order these in preference to the oak.”

Thank you for your feedback. Oak heat logs can be crumbly because oak is a very hard species of timber and difficult to compress. We continually review our product lineup and take customer opinions into account when deciding on our product range; we also offer sample packs so that the customers can make their own decision. We have certainly taken note of your review - thanks for taking time to share your opinion.

“The RUF bricketts I ordered arrived on time but disappointingly I was not contacted the hour before as promised. This meant that the pallet was left out in the rain for a couple of hours unnecessarily. Fortunately few of the bricketts were damaged but it might not have been the case if the weather was worse.”
