“Excellent service and delivery, but don't put prices just because you can. Too much of that around just now.”

Thank you for your review. Regrettably our transport costs in particular have increased by anywhere from 10 to 150% this year, depending on the contractor. We had no choice but to pass some of that - not all - to our customers. We always aim to offer the most competitive price possible.

“Fuel is good, ordering easy and prompt. However need to make sure delivery sends email for timing in order for client to be present. Mine was left directly in front of storage so unable to transfer and needed to get help to move pallet.”

“Great service with really good products. Unfortunately I won’t be able to use them again, as It’s such a shame that they are now levying a large delivery charge to IV addresses.”

Thank you for your review. The new delivery charge applies to postcodes IV51 and above, not the Inverness city or any other IV postcodes. This is regrettably unavoidable due to massive cost increases at the Grangemouth port but will be reviewed in the future.

“Excellent product ... only problem is the delivery which was left on the road because I have a gravel driveway ... would recommend BioGlow arrange with haulage company to have a way of conveying the heat logs/ wood logs for customers over gravel ... A simple swing mechanism would do it ... thanks .. JB”

“The delivery was as expected and the driver was very helpful. The logs burn well on our Jotul No 1, both open and closed. We bought Oak Nestro wood briquettes. They do expand quite a lot as they burn, perhaps to twice their original length. One needs to be aware of this if the stove is open. The briquettes are easy to break over an edge so as to burn them as halves.”

“I ordered the fuel and did not hear anything for a week, at which point I called Bioglow and they said it was with the courier. The wood turned up a couple of days later with no notification, but thankfully I work from home and was in. However, I have been using heat logs for a few years and have ordered Pini Kay before from another company, but these were the best heat logs I've had so far. A good density log and slow-burning, with excellent amounts of heat. Excellent for a small open fire.”

“So much better than real logs. Easy to store, no need to dry/turn before using. They give out are easy to light and give out a good heat. Not too keen on all the white dust but guess you can't have everything!”

“The product is great but having to carry the product into the house because they delivered it on a pallet in the road outside my house (which is an extremely busy road) was not only very inconvenient, also a bit dangerous.”

“Have not used them yet as weather still so mild. Delivery fine and accommodated difficult access to my home. Pallet wrapped in plastic. Not good. Need to find biodegradable or recyclable plastic.”

“The system is fare better than Wood or Coal , good heat is provided, and a clean burn with minimum waste to get rid rid of, unfortunately the delivery was damaged and we lost two packs, it was reported and we were offered an item in lieu, This has not arrived.”

“Our delivery of a half pallet of Oak Nestro Logs was quick and efficient. The driver was very polite and helpful, wheeling the pallet across the street and into our garage. These logs are easy to light, clean to transport around the house, burn with great heat, leave virtually no ash and lock good on our open fires. The only downside is that they burn away rather quickly. Perhaps inevitable given their other virtues. I will definitely buy again, but also order some more dense briquettes to put on top of the logs to slow down the burning process. I will speak to Bioglow to see what is suitable.”

“delivered very quickly, fuel burns just as advertised so reduces number of times you have to re load the stove. All the same size so very easy to stack. Only negative preventing 5 stars is the plastic packaging, needs some clever thinking to replace or remove this at the same time as keeping the "wheatabix" type finish from breaking up or spreading chips around.”
