“We purchased a garden patio set for £200 and the table "exploded" luckily no one was near it, but B&M say they will NOT do anything about it”

“This is not the first time we get an email with really good offers like a black & decker cordless vacuum for £49.99 and an air fryer for 24.99 so we go to 3 of our most local stores which aren't that close to where we live only to be told no we have none and when they checked there system they were not even being allocated any, are these emails advertising all these goodie a ploy to get you into the shops in the hope you will buy something else for more money. We are disgusted with B&M once again. Come on B&M get your act together or stop sending emails like that.”

“I bought a "Warmlite" halogen heater on 30/01/18 from the Portlethen store. The girl at the till could not match the barcode, so a supervisor was called. They could not match it either. Eventually, I was told that they could put it through at £19.99, as a Beldray heater, which would have been the same price. I was told that there would not be a problem if I had to bring it back. It was not working within 3 weeks, and on trying to get a refund on 19/02/18, and with the receipt, I was told by the floor manager, that I could not have bought it at that store, and I was refused a refund or a replacement. I was effectively told that I must not be telling the truth. This is disgraceful! I have complained, and will be raising this with Trading Standards. On principal, I may yet take legal action, purely on principal, depending on the outcome, and if I get an apology.”

“Visited the new store in Wadebridge, Cornwall, twice since it opened and both times have experienced bad customer service. The first time from asking a question to a young girl on the shop floor, who just shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know" to the cashiers talking amongst themselves along with (I presume) the Manageress, talking about why they were still having to work at 7.00 p.m. at night and moaning about previous customers and other members of staff. The second visit, polite young guy on the shop floor who asked me very politely to move so he could come through with the trolley and thanked me for moving !! However, once again a different cashier, ignorant, rude served me, shoved receipt in my hand and just started talking to another member of staff. No interaction, i.e. started scanning my shopping whilst I was unloading my trolley with not asking if I needed a hand or a bag.”

“Maggots on the products. Flies on the shelves. Staff rude, making sexual noises in the isles... disgusting! Manager dressed like a T A R T - I had my son with me and her boobs were flying out!. Horrible experience, never ever again!”

“Advertise Dulux Smooth Weathershield Masonry Paint online at a good price. You cannot check stock beforehand either online or by telephoning. I wasted half a gallon of petrol tonight going to the Southampton store and there wasn't a tin of anything in the Dulux brand on the shelves. My one and only visit to this store. Why advertise online what isn't for sale ?.”
