“Excellent visual self paced software program. Concerns / recommendations: It would be nice if one could avoid waiting for the countdown clock as some areas/ topics may be well known by the participant. For the module tests I would have liked the option of knowing which questions I answered incorrectly so that I could further study the particular areas. Similarly, for the final exam I would have liked the option of proceeding with the the questions for which I was certain of the answers and then go back and allocate more time to the remaining. I think, too, that most participants would like the opportunity to "double check" answers for the entire test before submitting for evaluation.”

“I would like to say BoatSmart was very helpful when I did the exam. I had a few computer glitches and they quickly got me back on track again to successfully complete the exam. Taking the exam was a learning experience that everyone needs, to be safe on the water.”

“The only issue with the on-line course, is that the timer in the bottow right hand side didn't always correspond with your actual time listening to the videos so sometimes you were waiting for the timer to run down.”

“Good content and training. Great value for money. Only suggestion to BOATsmart is to review the timer on some of the training modules. Sometimes the video or audio played twice before the timer that lets you advance to the next slide would end.”

“The lessons were great and very informative. My only complaint was the whole section on buoys. That was overkill as there were way too many to remember...you would have to carry a chart in your marine folder to identify them and you shouldn't expect the test taker to remember all of the details.”
