“The course was easy to follow, and well laid out. I had no problem passing the final exam with a score of 96. This is with very little previous experience in many of the topics taught. I was able to get through the course over a few days, coming and going at my own pace. The animations made it easy to follow.”

“I was very pleased with BOATsmart with respect to both the course materials and the on-line testing. I found that the material prepared me very well for the final exam in that I was quite confident in my understanding of the material.”

“The course is very thorough, and the video illustrations and audio is very beneficial in making the course content easier to understand. I would recommend that all boaters review the test prior to each boating season!”

“The course was concise and covered all aspects of safe boating and aligned closely with the Transport Canada exam. The only complaint is that some of the page view minimum times were too long for the content”

“I learned a lot of new information from this course. My only complaint would be the online delays of Internet issues such as, buffering, and being disconnected at times. At the same time, it also is convenient doing the course at my own pace. The fact that it remembers where you left off each time is great.”

“Excellent course! There is a heck of a lot to learn but like anything if you apply yourself and want it bad enough you will get it. I had no idea about most of the information involving boating and to be honest I am glad I took this course and now I feel prepared and confident of my abilities! They say that knowledge is power and nie I feel I have more of both!! I also did the entire course on my Android phone without any problems! It was convenient and the videos loaded without any issue Thank you Boatsmart!! Dion Tarkowski”

“As a first time boater, I found the course to be extremely thorough and easily understood. I believe it is important to read and digest all of the information and placing timers on each slide is a great idea. It forces the reader to listen to the various slides and learn the necessary information.”

“Very good detail....really like the video explanations! I like that there is a lot of time for answering questions, both during the instructional parts and the exam part as well. I am interested in finding out what I answered incorrectly so was a bit disappointed in not being able to do that...maybe possible after the exam? Thank you for a great experience!”
