“I really like the idea of being able to take the course in the comfort of my home and on my time. Very well done. The narrator is slow and clear. I also like the two versions available, you can either read along with the narrator or visually watch pictures and listen. Everybody learns differently, and this gives them a choice.👍”

“Good course. Nice to be able to do it on line. Would have liked to be able to review the quiz parts and know which questions were wrong. Understand why the actual test was not able to be reviewed, but not the quiz questions Overall I am very satisfied with course Thanks Tom”

“Excellent course which I honestly believe should be taken by anyone who boards a boat. The knowledge obtained could (would) help save lives. The only thing I would like included in the course is disclosing what answers were incorrect. Maybe in the follow up email? Awesome course...thanks”

“I am an avid boater. My family and I are very pleased this program is being implemented in Ca. The course was informative after 35 years boating I learned somethings. The testing TOOK TO LONG. The timer clock is ridiculous a 10 year old can read these lessons in half the time. Also when listening, why does the clock make you wait when the audio is done? GREAT PROGRAM. I will recommend it. (Get rid of timer)”

“At first I was in a hurry and the lessons and modules took time. It forced me to slow down and learn rather than skim over and take my chances on the test. It was very repetitive but then when I saw the question, I would remember the answer being said over and over. Good teaching technique.”

“This is a little more expensive than some of the other options. However, your can tell there is real effort that was put into this. You don't have to read a thing like some other online boating courses I researched. Almost every section has a well animated video that goes through everything. And for the few sections that don't have a video there is a voice over that will read everything to you. Keep in mind that are required by law to enforce some annoying things like how long you have to spend on each page and the fact they cannot share your incorrect answers to the quiz. This will take you a good three hours to complete, so expect that.”
