“I found the course very informative and easy to navigate through. The process is very fair and even enjoyable. Although I didn't retain it all I have learned important aspects of boating and know where to go if I have a question that needs an answer.”

“I was surprised & please to be able to finish the course from where I left off a few years ago ! I liked the pace & the sumries . It was interesting & very informative . I would like to know which questions I didn't answer correctly ! Now to put what I learn to use .”

“I didn't have the text content of the course and therefore I made notes all through the course which were quite extensive. I spent a lot of hours on the course and review time (more than 15 hours) which I was not expecting. It was long. I am, however, very glad to have passed the test and get my Pleasure Craft Operator Card. Thank you.”

“I really liked the videos because just when you see you have 21-52 videos on a mudule you see the video and it's fun, engaging and you learn a lot! Plus lots of information was given. :-)”

“All topics were covered, especially liked the easy to remember sayings - I recommend taking notes as you go on the sections that are new to you. Perhaps your summaries could provide notes to print out.”

“Easy to navigate and access, the dashboard screen was a great visual to reflect After I paid I wasn't quite sure where to go... More importantly - the animated characters depicted in the videos are not diverse and do not represent to the rich diversity of Ontario and Canada. Given this, there is a lot of implied bias (e.g., only white people boat, only white people have the financial resources to boat, new comers do not boat). This may not be intentional, but should be addressed.”
