Very informative course but the moduals took way too long. Found myself reading a head of the time limit and was often waiting

I took the Canadian Power and Sail course in 1997. This course was a great way to get myself up-to-speed and review the nav rules and boating in general. It's a Must Do for novice boaters... they need this to enjoy their boating experiences.

Quite a cumbersome task to complete for a boater’s license.

I became happy knowing that I can now drive a boat legally anywhere in Canada.

The course is way too time consuming. There should be a shorter version for people who are already knowledgeable.

Great and easy to use. My only suggestion would be to show what your mistakes were during the quizes.

I understand how you have to have timed lessons but maybe make sure the time lines up with the video as there were times where I needed to wait an additional 20 seconds or where I could skip half the video as it ended 20 seconds early.

The modules were long, but covered very important information. The course material is relevant to the exam and I am confident to navigate through the waterways

there was some information in the course that I was not aware off, lots of information that that was good for me to have a refresher on, because it was quite sometime cense I have done any boating.

I wish I could have skipped the modules for my test. I watched all of them with my husband once and he took his test. I was hoping I could have skipped the modules at that point and just took my test, instead I had to watch 5 hours of video again. I felt that I should have had that opportunity to skip the modules and simply write the test if I wanted.

Course is ludicrously long, but does educate. Quiz questions include some trivia items, like who regulates what, which don't help you become a better boat operator, but these could be on real exam. On real exam I think I missed a question or two as the next button was not easy to get the mouse on. So give 2 clues to your clients if allowed.... 1) be aware when you write the exam there is a time limit and you can't go back to a question already answered. 2) when you hit next make pause and see if it takes, if you hit it quickly when it doesn't seem to take you might inadvertently skip a question.

Good course. One area of improvement would be to align the minimum durations for each segment with the length of the videos. They can be off by up to 10 seconds

A few too many modules. Takes a long time to switch between video's. Good content. Learned a lot.
