“The course was a good deal more detailed and rigorous than I had expected. Though I am an experienced boatman I found much in the course that even I did not know, so it was valuable for me! I also enjoyed the little encouragements that you offer along the way within the program; you made the whole experience fun! I would recommend your course program to anyone. “Prepares the person very well for the final exam. Good to see the quiz at the end of each module. ,Wish one could find which questions on the quiz as well as the final exam, that were incorrect.”

“The individual modules with quiz after each one gave me the confidence to plow right ahead into the final exam before even receiving the boaters manual that I had paid $20 for lol, I guess I will pay it forward to a future boater and pass it on to them to prepare for the course”

“The book and videos gave me confidence in my ability to run a boat as I was given ‘the rules of the road’. I studied the book and was NOT happy when I realized that in order to take the test I had hours of videos to watch. The necessity of watching the videos should be made VERY clear when buying the course/book. Also, for general lake, river boating is it really necessary to know all about ocean and commercial lane navigation? Perhaps the PowerSquadron Course should be the requirement for that. Your next question on the likelihood of recommending the BoatSmart course is unnecessary as it is required! A box for general comments is needed.”
