Awful experience. Every single customer service experience was a disgrace from inception to deciding not to pursue my purchase. Unfortunately it was only one agent I spoke to the entirity - Connor from Sales. I wrote a few initial lengthy emails stating my situation, what I wanted, and how a product (prebuilt computer) could be purchased and delviered. The agent then chose not to reply to the whole email message, or subsequent ones, and took it upon himself to delete an order cherry picking information of out context. Connor did not provide further options, suggestions, show interest or sympathy in the situation when the order would take a further week to be able to purchase on Paypal credit. No interest was shown in my recent personal difficulties that I detailed. Despite stating I was changing address and would not be present for delivery on other dates nothing was suggestion here either. On phoning, he acted very robotically, unfriendly, unhelpful, unsympathetically as if reading off a script , not caring, and not going out his way to do anything. he appeared to want to get off the phone / reply to emails as little and as quick as possible. After realising that a cancelled Paypal order meant the product could not be bought for a further few days, there were no alternative suggestions offered, no apology for cancelling the order, and no bending of the rigid rules the company offers. The single product in stock could be purchased by anyone else and I was given no suggestions or comprimises to help to to secure the item myself. I was advised to mark 'product requested' to hear when a product was in stock. This was done from day one, which did not work as I noticed the product on the swebsite as available without receiving an email notification (I received box.co.uk emails, it wasn't in spam). No action taken to state why this did not happen, and to express an apology for this or correct this for others in future. When I advised I would not be making the order, I was not met with the slightest bit of resistance to try and pursue and order for a lot of money (from a salesman -from the sales team). It sounded like Connor, therefore Sales and the company as a whole were glad to be rid of me I don't usually write reviews, and have had my fair share of dissapointment and poor treatment from companies, but I don't expect this from what appeared to be a respectable, clean looking website, with good product. It should be about customer service, if what else? So much time wasted on this company with no result.

I bought a Synology RT2600ac router on the AMAZON - 4x4 dual-band Gigabit Wi-Fi router, MU-MIMO, powerful parental controls, Threat Prevention, bandwidth management, VPN, expandable. It was to be new, used, damaged, inoperative, not working. I returned it and now the problem with receiving a refund for damaged goods is a joke !! I advise against these scammers. Don't buy anything from them !!!

Avoid! It isn't worth it. The staff is incompetent to do their job properly. All you get is false promises. They breach their Terms and Conditions no issue and you can't do anything about it! The worst company I have ever bought products from!

This is just awful, this company has done nothing to assist me so far. I have placed an order in March and it has yet to arrive, no body gives me answers, no tracking numbers are provided, no body to talk to but the chat on Facebook and that too feels like a robot. They refuse to refund me yet do nothing to investigate the matter and find a solution. AWFUL!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service, very slow response to emails. Sent me a laptop that broke within two weeks, no apology and so far waited 16 days for a replacement. Repeatedly had to chase them up as no response to emails.

Ordered on line and received an email informing me it was going to arrive today which was earlier than expected. Booked the day off work and at 3.30 in the afternoon contacted Box by chat and was informed by Blayne that it wasn’t coming today but probably tomorrow. The item could not be last without me being there so that means I’ve got to take another day off work. If you say it’s coming early on a specific day then it should be there. I can’t afford to take days off work for no reason Blayne showed the empathy of a Rottweiler

Do not order from this company. They do not care at all about the customer. I placed an order for next day delievery and spoke to Blayne from Box to make sure everything will get sent out accordingly. I was contacted by DPD to tell me that the full address not given and I checked DPDs delievery address and my door number was not given. I checked on BOX and my invoice and delivery address is correct but the postage they gave to DPD was incorrect. Spoke to an advisor, Blayne, who thought he could change the delivery date to Monday when it should of came Friday WITHOUT telling me. He told me he would fix the issue and changing the date for 3 days after the promised date, when I paid extra for delivery, is terrible service. A simple double checking of the address was not done. A simple copy and paste of the invoice was not done. Terrible service, never using Box again and making sure anyone I know does not use this terrible company. Getting a refund, also the customer service is beyond terrible.

I ordered earphones and I received an empty box. I immediately connected to their online chat and sent photos. They told me they would open an investigation if I sent the information to them by e-mail. I did but i never heard back from them. Unacceptable.

Ordered Synology MR2200ac and RT2600ac from them. After 1 week turns out the MESH networking of this device doesn't work correctly and has been an issue for months. Returned as not as described. Got an email to say that one of the items I returned was scratched and got sent a photo - and that they would not be refunding up to 25% of the original value. I took photos before I returned the items and also had only placed them on a wooden shelf during their use. Everything was shipped back in the original packaging correctly. The photo they took was clearly a plastic moulding issue on a tiny foot on the MR2200ac, in close up and with extreme lighting. After consulting with Synology direct who then rang box.co.uk and were told the same issue I then recicved out of the blue a full refund. I then had to tell Synology how box.co.uk were breaking consumer law with their approach. The feedback on these review websites and from FB groups for Synology products was clear - they were trying to pull a fast one - and this included advice from commercial photographers and others who were clear about the issue being a moulding issue and the photo was taken to highlight a very tiny issue that wouldn't have been spotted by me or others so was likely to be there from new. Plus the legal obligations that box.co.uk had and were trying to wriggle out of. I would give box.co.uk the benefit of the doubt but I am adamant that I took great care of the products when in my care, I was not trying to return a product that I had damaged (it was for a not as described product MESH issue) and that the issue they highlighted was a manufacturing issue - plus this behaviour seems to have occurred before from them. They have given me a full refund - but be aware if anything goes wrong - seems they try and pull a fast one.

Firstly placed an order and paid for next day delivery which wasnt next day or even the day after and then one item came with DHL and another with DPD! Secondly after they finally arrived they were both faulty. I then Returned faulty devices and hard drive and was made to wait for their engineers to test the device before a refund or replacement was issued. This is terrible customer service especially when this was vital for my business to operate in these tough times! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Got my 3D printer for my 50th on Xmas day 3 months later it’s faulty, contact them and they are not interested in replacing . I’ve now been waiting 2 months for replacement part and nothing . Contacted to day and told I’ve got to wait. What sort of company thinks it’s acceptable for someone to wait over t months for a part???. LCD screen stopped working and was advised to use end of a pen to press it ... Laughable . Any decent company would not let you wait 2 months and just replace .. But I guess this shows what sort of company this is .... AVOID !!!!!

Received a DIY product. Built it perfectly as per instructions. Signal performance was very bad. Returned and was told could only be refunded 79% of full price (-21%) because of little scratches they found on a part used for building the product. Launched an A-Z claim for a full refund. Several days later, they refunded me much less than the proposed amount and it was before the claim was even completed. These people are very unscrupulous.

Absolutely Terrible Experience Banner regarding Covid-19 states everything is normal, delivery is normal.. options that aren't available will be disabled. They charged me 9.95 Monday 30th for 2 day delivery guaranteed on the 1st April, it's now the 2nd April and my Order has not been delivered, not been dispatched, it was processing but has in fact gone backwards and is now pending again. Service was offered and paid for, but not provided, and they have gone backwards in processing my order. Despite being more expensive, the parts ordered are required for a workstation to be built to allow a key worker, supporting the NHS Patient Health Systems and other applications, to be able to work, these were ordered entirely for the delivery speed to get them up and running quickly. Remove the banner, nothing is running as normal, delivery options weren't disabled, and the false advertisement it provides has surely hurt others like me.

Hi Oliver, We are really very sorry and unfortunately in the early start of the lock down we were under a lot of pressure with the volume of orders and implementing our social distancing polices for our staff's well being meant for a very short period of time (24 Hours) we were unable to provide the service levels promised. But this was resolved very quickly. I have asked our CS Team to reach out and provide a £10.00 Discount Code as an apology to you directly. Kind Regards Box Customer Service Team.
