Horrendous service. No communication, messages not responded to. Vague reasons given for delays. I have never been able to speak to the solicitor dealing with my case! The people I do speak to have no sense of urgency whatsoever. Bitterly regret going with these guys.

Well where do I start.. lack of communication with my solicitor no answer to questions no confirmation that they received 30k from us even though I asked to confirm they received it. Seems to lose documents from the sellers solicitors who at one time sent a document 3 times even had the seller send me the information to forward it on but still nothing and I'm still waiting for a completion date which I was told would of been completed over a month ago. I'm paying for a service I don't seem to be recieving. And I do think the seller may pull out of the deal soon due to the lack of forward movement from this solicitors. Which means I will then lose money. Not happy.

Very prompt before you sign up, Once you have paid they just ignore calls and emails. Very Slow

An absolute disgrace,ignore emails,ask for paperwork they already have been given.lied to me about buyer still overlooking paperwork when the buyer had still not instructed his solicitors.this is 3 months on while I duly sent paperwork and chased them for 3 weeks.needless to say I swiftly changed solicitors.avoid at all costs...

Have now spoken to no less than six individuals at the Dorchester office, none of whom (bar one) seemed to have any idea of what had happened in previous e-mails, we have been asked for payment for searches that we've already paid on two additional occasions and been asked to complete forms already completed and submitted. No one, including the main switchboard answers their phones, you just get put through to an answerphone. We are on a tight schedule to complete before the chain falls apart and no-one seems to appreciate the urgency or have any idea of progress on the contact. We've had to chase repeatedly to get any action, only to be asked the same questions again. Distinctly unhappy and would definitely not recommend use to anyone else. I'll also be advising Purple Bricks, to whom the company is associate, of our dissatisfaction with the service.

DO NOT use this firm if you are looking for a prompt, efficient and timely service. The conveyancer is likely to push you to their paralegal who has no clue most of the time and are unable to provide any updates. Infact, I am doing most of their work for them. It is impossible to communicate with the conveyancer. Makes me furious and seriously wonder what I am paying this firm of solicitors for and why! I would like to believe not all their conveyancers are this nonchalant. However, I will be forced to take legal action should this sale and purchase fall through due to sheer lack of communication and providing simple updates by the conveyancer. Cheaper does not necessarily mean better or more efficient. BPL proves this all the way! I seriously wish I had stuck with my original law firm for the transaction. Absolutely useless!

As an executor dealing with my mothers estate, BPL has taken five months to complete the sale on a property. It should not take that long too deal with a straight forward transaction with no chain involved and a cash purchase. They would still be waiting to receive the property management pack if I hadn't chased them about it, that itself delayed us over a month! Their freepost service didnt work so I had to send everything by recorded delivery. Unbelievably painful poor inexperienced service, they delivered so little, 5 months in a world of modern technology! This industry is operating in the dark ages

Pulling my hair out. No one seems capable of taking the final step and exchanging contracts. No one answers their phones and email replies very slow in coming. Having to make it clear that the chain is on the verge of collapsing but no one seems to care. I could recommend this firm to no one.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Found the firm online. Thought we would go with them as they were competitively priced -unfortunately to our detriment. Poor communication throughout. Had to leave multiple messages before anyone got back to us. The conveyancer in charge of our case did not once have the courtesy to speak to us directly- it was always one of the junior members of the team that eventually called us back. There was no forward movement with our case. I had to call the sellers solicitors myself. I had to prompt them on area searches etc. To ensure they got done. Because of how long the process took our mortgage offer expired. I had to speak to the managing director before anything started happening. Overall an awful experience. Took more than 6 months to complete. A complete shambles of a law firm. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Worst solicitors i have ever dealt with. Quick to reply / call when they required documents but ignored emails / calls when asked for an update. Requested my bank statements for the 3rd day on the day of the exchange, even though this should have been checked 2 months earlier. 5 months since the offer has been accepted and still no completion date. Avoid at all costs
