“Absolutely horrendous service from BT, If I could give 0 I would. After moving house we have been left with no internet connection for 2 weeks, BT say they’re unable to cancel our contract or provide us with the internet we’re paying for because there’s a transfer request on our account. We’ve spoken to numerous customer support staff on the phone for hours on end who have all been completely useless, particularly Raymond who was rude and obnoxious. Rebecca then arranged for a mini hub to be sent out to us which was deactivated after 2 days so we’re back to square one with no updates from BT whatsoever. A new mini hub was supposed to be delivered yesterday to tide us over until the issue can be resolved but it didn’t arrive.
We have used all our mobile data and as I run my own business which relies on an internet connection I am finding the situation unnecessarily stressful but BT are not interested and just reel off a scripted insincere apology when you try to explain the inconvenience this is causing.
I would not recommend BT to anyone, they are a disgrace of a company…AVOID at all costs.”

The guy was very arrogant and rude to me from the start then when I requested to raise a complaint he first told me he will provide the email of the complaint team then after few minutes he said there is no email and that even if he raise a complaint on my behalf it will still be closed as resolved without speaking with a complaint team. My current contract is due for renewal in 3 weeks and I have just been told by a “BT Guide” that depends where you live in the country depends if BT will offer you a deal or not and because I live in the “wrong region”, they will not give me as good a deal as someone who lives in the “right region”. “I have been trying to cancel my BT broadband service as I have moved out of the rental house. I will not bore readers with all the details, needless to say, after six phone calls, nine representatives who are dedicated to "customer service" and over three hours on the phone it still has not been resolved. A fairly straight forward request attempted to be handled by people who lack any ability or responsibility to complete the requested task. Absolutely appalling service. Avoid.”
“Appalling service. Sent me a letter with date of contract end. Called them up multiple times to confirm closure and now they tell me it will take 30 days to do so and will charge me for this month. “Salesman told my elderly mother, who wanted to switch from Virgin they would contact Virgin, do all the necessary paperwork and fit the new line etc on 9 June.No they didn't cancel Virgin so my mum is left with a massive bill from Virgin for 2 months which she can ill afford. The attitude of customer service was suck it up! no sympathy no apology for the wrong information supplied. As she's on a limited pension and nearly 90 this has left her virtually suicidal. “Terrible contradictory advice provided by customer service. Each time you call they give you contradictory advice.
Then they charge more for existing customers and don't recognise loyalty.
They offer cheaper deals to new customers than existing customers who have to pay lot more.
Totally unhelpful and not listening to my requirements and try to put me on expensive packages and then add extras putting the bill up when I have clearly told them I want to reduce my monthly bill. Then they also try and lcok you in 24 months contract.
I would strongly recommend to shop around especially existing BT customers.”

Had BT for years tried to stop netflix as they had started charging £17.99 but not so simple as 5 months later every month im messaging and ringing to get a credit as they still cant stop it. Sick of the monthly hassle ive moved to SKY in may but eventhough i told them april, ive paid advance charges this may and now another bill due 22nd but once again i have advanced charges coming. OMG whats wrong with them. I have so many pictures saved to my phone from their staff lying and saying its sorted, you dont need to pay the bill, stop your direct debit and so it goes onnnnnn and onnnnnn its draining.
