I have emailed multiple times asking to be changed from my current prepayment meter to a standard one as was promised when I signed up over a year ago. Unfortunately i have never even had a response and so will be changing provider soon.

Absolutely excellent, I have a twin meter system with two MPAN number and most of the other green providers would only transfer me, if I paid two standing charges. Bulb however recognised the set up, and only charge me one standing charge. Meter readings are easy through the bulb account, I stick both readings in, and only get one bill. Switching was very easy, absolutely no problems, only dealt with bulb, even for the final reading to the previous supplier. Paying by standing order is simple, and you can amend details through your bulb account. Bulb was also cheaper on both my tariffs. Absolutely recommend Bulb, ethical, cheap and hassle free. Ten out of Ten.

The price goes up rapidly. Lack of smart meter service for PAYG . Very very poor customer service. Any time try to call customer service it takes long time to connect and never get the answer.

The only energy company to make paying for gas and electricity fun! Their website is so easy to use and nicely designed. Quotes are so easy to get. Leaving or joining is a breeze!

put the bills up every month also my monitor tells me a haven’t used anywhere near the price there saying don’t go with them they get you in arrears then your trapped now i am paying £179 a month

I have been very satisfied with the service that Bulb has provided. Saving money on my bills also helps. If other providers were as helpful there would be less complaints. I am a genuine Bulb customer.

I'm sorry that you haven't had a refund of the credit on your account - we do need to leave one month's credit in your Bulb account at all times as we buy our energy in advance. I came back to Bulb because they were price competitive, then they raised their prices. Previously they were outstanding and ahead of the field but now losing ground.

Hi John, Thanks for leaving us a review. We’ve had to increase our prices because the cost of supplying energy has increased significantly. Wholesale costs are up by 29% since March, when we last changed our prices. Because our tariff reflects the true cost of energy, we have to change this accordingly. I recently switched to Bulb. The switch was easy and the App is great to keep you up to date with your monthly usage and balance. Prices very competitive. Highly recommend.
