“The tankards are wonderful but the presentation boxes are rubbish and not worth the extra cost.”

“I designed a tankard with some engraving. It was easy to order and was delivered so quickly. However, a drawback is that you cant visualize where the engraving would appear. I was disappoined in its placement despite the instructions i included with the order. Also a bit disapointed with the weight and would have agreed to pay extra for a hevy weight tankard. Alas, no option and no reply to my request to go outside the box so to speak. Overall a good job.”

I can see on you order that you have asked if it was possible to have the custom tankard as a heavy weight, I am sorry to say this is not an option we offer as the custom tankards are all of a standard weight. “Good website. Lots of choice. Prompt service. Good communications regarding delivery. Very nice quality tankard (a pint 'heavy' one). Looked stunning. Thought the text engraving was just a bit on the small size, (but I am 70!) so some option to have, say, three choices of font size would make it all perfection. Very satisfied overall and a very nice product.”

“Service was good and delivery fast. Tankard is good quality, and I love drinking out of it. However I am a little disappointed in the size. It was advertised as a 1 pint tankard, but when I measured, it was only just able to hold 568ml (1 pint) with the liquid coming right up to the lip. This means whilst holding a pint it takes some skill to carry, and it does not allow for any drinks with a 'head'.”

“The overall service was great, the quality of the tankard itself was very great aswell. The time it took to deliver the item was quick very satisfied with that. but where it falls short and where it made me a little sad”

“Very, very quick delivery on an order which included engraving - really impressive. The tankard was great quality except the maker's stamping on the tankard, which was at an angle. It looked untidy and detracted from the the overall appearance - this was disappointing.”

The makers marks are usually put on in this way, it emphasises the handmade craftsmanship that goes into the making of the tankards. However it shouldn't' detract from the rest of the quality. “Customer service replied promptly to my questions. The rep offered alternative style options when I found I could not customize the weight and size of the tankard I wanted. The website should make it more clear how many grams each weight class weighed. However, when I asked whether the brass rim would tarnish over time (and what kind of care can be taken to prevent or reduce that), the customer rep merely directed me to the website for the answer as if I had not read all of their tankard care information (which I had). Their website did not have the answer. I chose not to get a brass rim. The tankard order did fill and ship quickly. With the standard AirMail shipping option, I didn't have to pay duty, either (I am in Canada)! Overall, the experience was good, if a bit unclear on some details.”

“The tankard was very nice, and the inscribed name and map were very good. There was a bit of tarnish in the seams of the cup which I had to clean as well as 2 scratches inside the cup. It looked as though whoever cleaned and packed it had a ring on. No big deal but useful information for you for the future. Also, on the ordering page, when I selected the picture of Scotland the word "Scotland" was under the drawing. One would naturally assume this label would be there identifying the engraving. The first person who looked at it said "nice, but what's this" He obviously isn't as familiar with the map of Scotland as I am. Lastly, nowhere does the piece indicate that it's 100% Pewter which would be a nice touch. I think that with a few small changes you would have an excellent product, But that's just my opinion.”

“I am very pleased with the service I received from your end. The tankard arrived promptly, nicely packed. My only complaint is with your courier. I was at home when he drove up to my front door and dumped the parcel outside, although it was soon going to rain. He made no attempt to ring my door bell. Luckily I saw the parcel and retrieved it immediately. Most couriers in this rural village take the trouble to ring the bell and to leave things under cover if nobody is at home. PVT”
