“I've used many proxy bidding sites to buy items on Yahoo Japan Auctions. Buyee is my favourite! Very easy, in real time, and you don't have to first put a balance in your account and worry about adding more funds if bidding goes higher than expected. Just go ahead and bid, and if you win, they charge you. If you don't win, there's no charge.
They have also been extremely accommodating during this Covid pandemic while Japan Post has stopped shipping to certain locations. Charging to fees to have items stored at their warehouse until Japan Post resumes its services.

“I have used Buyee many times this year to purchase goods from Japan on Mercari and Yahoo Auctions. They offer a very fair price for consolidation of multiple orders which helps me to save money on shipping. Other shopping services charge similar fees, so I'm very satisfied with the service Buyee provides. My last box in particular was packaged neatly and carefully. My items always arrive quickly and in perfect condition. It is also helpful that Buyee works with DHL as a postal carrier, because Japan Post is not shipping to my country at the moment. I asked for a photo to verify the authenticity of one of my items prior to shipping and the picture was sent to me the next day.”
“Overall, Buyee is clear and upfront about how it works and is incredibly easy to use even for a first-time buyer such as myself. I personally had a very easy time using it to buy some pins from overseas, and the methods for shipping are very easy to understand (even during coronavirus). Remember to add the price of shipping costs, this increases the purchase price but these products are generally only found in Japan! “Consolidated Shipping Can Get Brutal
For starters, the negatives. The shipping fee can get ridiculous. Don't buy big heavy items here, or even items that are just big (never underestimate extra weight from seller packing). I bought a wool briefcase, and it came out at 1KG which was an instant 2100 yen in shipping. I thought..."hey let's add a cheap t shirt to test their consolidated shipping charges ". 220g...another 1400 yen to ship separately from the bag (it's EMS rate). Now, I naively thought that by paying an extra 500 yen for the consolidation fee that I'd probably just pay an extra 600 yen since how much extra packing weight could they manage to put on 1080g + 220g, right?
WRONG. Some quick math to see how they just erased any savings and made me pay more.
Ship separately:
2100 yen (1080g) + 1400 yen (220g) = 3500 yen
Consolidated rate:
3300 yen (1760g) + 500 yen (consolidation fee) = 3800 yen”
