I had the worse experience you can imagine. I mean unreal 3 month of waiting Dozens of delivery date official that are lies A sales team that stop answering after the sales And just a bunch of lies I will keep writing reviews, it's my first time in life. And it's the only time a company deserves it

I ordered an item on 26th march and still havent got it, told it would be delivered 31st march, then 7th april i was told it wasnt in stock, i called and was told it was in stock, ove had 6 different dilivery dates since then, every day i check my tracking order it changes dates, do not order from this shower unless you want to lose your money. In November 2021 we ordered a television via the site. We received the television as expected but the screen was blown. This is where the trouble started. At first we asked for the same television to be sent back to us, unfortunately it was no longer in stock. A sales representative told us that we had to pay the difference to receive a similar television. He refused to make a commercial gesture for the inconvenience caused (exempt us from this difference of around €60) and offered us a full refund. We didn't find it right to do so (they probably had their reasons) so we opted for a full refund. AND AFTER IT'S A BIG JOKE! They asked us several times for bank details before confirming that the refund was in progress. When we ask for an update, they ask us again for our bank details and reconfirm that the refund is in progress (which is a lie since it has been going on for weeks). We finally received a partial refund in January. So we claimed the remaining amount and they started asking us again for bank details and confirming that the refund is in progress, etc... Your refund process is SCANDALOUS! We are in February and today again you are redeeming my partner's bank details. Do your job properly and stop taking people for idi*ts.

Ordered goods from the Irish website. Gave a Dublin number. Was unable to enter my company name. When I asked for the invoice to be put in my company name, they refused. Then I was charged additional customs charge. Goods were coming from UK, where I was led to believe they were coming from Ireland, If I wanted to return, I'd need to ship to UK and pay that cost. This is just a UK site pretending to be Irish. Beware.

Waiting 4 weeks for 2x Keyboards costing over £200. Products haven't arrived and emails ignored. I believe this is a scam site.

A really rotten service all round. I am Dublin based and searched their site for a 17 inch or larger laptop and purchased a Dell laptop as per their listing. It was paid for and delivered under the invoice number 104770476. On arrival I discovered it was an 11 inch netbook and nothing like the size advertised. I raised a return and was given the return number 77954886 and returned it via UPS (I was later told when I phoned them that return number was for a table and chairs ??). I tracked the return using tracking number 1ZE432R26897458090 on the UPS website, Buyitdirect refused to accept delivery of it 3 times so I phoned them on their local Dublin number and after a wait of 32 minutes got through to someone in the UK who advised me, after a lengthy conversation, that yes they would accept delivery of the laptop but since there are UK import duties to be paid that amount, £150 will be deducted from my refund. I have no way of reclaiming this amount from the UK government, they do, yet I have to bear the cost of their deceitful advertising. I originally wished to simply exchange it for an alternative 17 inch laptop but was told NO, I would have to return it and obtain a refund, which would take a month to process, yet they can take payment in 30 seconds, then I could purchase an alternative item. I was going to purchase an alternative 17 inch laptop from them, but not now, not after this fiasco and I advise EVERYONE to either stay completely away or be very, very careful dealing with them. I ordered a chair 3 weeks ago and paid €114. The chair is now 'on sale' for €152! Total scam. Chair still hasn't arrived either after being told it would arrive 2 weeks ago.

A complete and utter disgrace of a company. They sent me out an order after I had cancelled it directly with customer service. Took them 3 weeks to get it picked up from me. I was told after tgey recieve it, tgey have to check it for faults for 10 days,even though it was left on a chair at my front door untouched since they day it was wrongfully sent to me. Waiting for my refund a week now. A disgusting way to leave people without (in my case) 200 euros at Christmas. Do NOT buy from this company.

Bought an IPhone XR from buyitdirect. Phone was faulty since day one. Contacted them about it took almost a month for them to come and collect phone after I rang them 5/6 times they didn’t even realise the phone still was not collected. I am still waiting for my refund to come through in which there response is, “has the phone been collected by our courier ?” Nearly 3 weeks later after it being collected by them. Overall a disgrace of a company, could not express how much you should shop elsewhere. Bad quality, bad customer service and terrible organisation.

Buy it direct is a scam, there are so many people that have been caught, no orders delivered and no refund. They don't respond to emails. Go elsewhere and save your money and piece of mind

I have write the review all ready ,but to be more focus on facts. The Buy it direct was selling the hob on their website with wrong picture to the wrong type number and details,I have bought the hob not knowing this fact,even in confirmation email I got the picture of the hob tough I was buying with the words '' this is what you purchased '' In the delivery came wrong type ,of course, It took me a couple days to get someone on the phone ,and it took me a few more calls ,till they comprehend ,and ADMITTED ,that the mistake is their fold and they will replace my hob. They said that the collection is ordered for exact day,we waited at home all day ,nothing had happened, we were waiting another two days ,before the collection had happen,and than we wait another 5 days to get delivery of replacement,guess what ? THE WRONG TYPE AGAIN ! so all over again , we contacted the customer service,we didn't want to wait another number of the days for SECOND collection so we offered to drop it on DPD 30km away from us,the customer service said to send new return label,we were waiting all day for the label,nothing had show up , so we had to call them again,in the next call with the same useless approach we were promised to get the label in then minutes,to be able to take parcel and drop it on dpd,the girl did swear she made the order for collection,and let us to go on dpd for NOTHING,because they didn't had any order for collection in system,we had to go with parcel back to home.The LABEL we finally got in last email,was exactly the same as the last one so I even doubt that the parcel would get to them and I strongly believe,that they would blame us of lose of the parcel ! Have anyone ever seen so much of stupidity and sauciness in one company ? I have big doubt that in the Buy it direct,is even one person with IQ high enough to finish this shocking sample of total inability to do online business,I really doubt I will ever get the right induction hob I have purchased. I think that the Buy it direct is doing all this focused bully to damage Ireland market and its customers I personally feel it as Discrimination and racist attack by British company towards Irish client.And there is no place on this planet to get justice and help! no one cares.

Very poor service. Bought a dehumidifier from them and just after 1 year warranty expired handle snapped off. Handle is designed to carry the unit. Plus I would not have to carry it if wheels were not so terrible - was trying to wheel over think carpet but wouldn’t. Tried complaining but was told after about a month it was out of warranty. So I tried raising an official complaint that goods are not fit for purpose and that it took so long to tell me that it is out of warranty but after another long delay I was simply told same thing with no acknowledgment of complaint. Really poor customer service, no professionalism and lack of care. Have had to take up with consumer protection to take further. Very long delays in response as well. Would strongly recommend do NOT use this rubbish company.

I bought a Hotpoint UH6F1CW 60cm Wide Frost Free Freestanding Upright Freezer purchased from you in May2018 stopped working properly in Dec 2019. It became noisy and built up frost. When I reported the problem I was told they had no responsibility for the after sales service and gave me the number for Hotpoint service. They stated that Counsumer laws in Ireland did not apply to them. (The seller is responsible here) They did not help or want to know though the item was only 18 months old and should have been replaced by them. Just want to warn people what happens when an item is faulty or stops working properly. It was an unexpected and shocking experience with the company. I was at a loss.

Ordered a Smeg gas hob (€469).. when it was delivered the box had been opened and all the wires were hanging out from the side looked to me like it had been used before and repackaged up . When I eventually got on to them they offered me a €50 voucher to be used on their website which I kindly declined and asked them to replace it . I’m still waiting and it’s now over 2 weeks and still my hob has not been replaced nobody has even contacted me to organise this !!

I paid for a phone over 2 months ago. Still haven't got a the phone and they wont refund me. I have to go to a solicitor now to get it sorted. Steve
