Worst service ever! We bought a dehumiditifier and it came broken. We requested a replacement and they did not have any other unit. Then, we requested a refund and they did not refund the whole amount of the transaction, they kept the delivery fee. What a joke to be honest.

Worst company to deal with!!! Avoid at all costs. Had to contact my bank to get a refund! Customer service is appalling. I had to wait over a month and half for a full refund. Do everyone a favour and order using another retailer. Don’t say you haven’t been warned. What an absolute joke. Still boils my blood. Absolutely diabolical

this company is a joke!!! they treat the customer like an idiot! my dehumidifier stopped working after a week. Ok, it happens. but then it started! I have been lied to for nearly 3 weeks now that a courier will come to take the parcel. I'm taking time off from work, I've already wasted 3 days! of course no one came, more emails, another lie and making me look like an idiot! 3 times! Now I'm hearing the same lie for the 4th time!!! I advise you to avoid this company because they are scammers!

Never ever!!!! This company is a joke!!! After week my dehumidifier stopped working. Week afrer contact with customer serwice, a courier was supposed to come ant take it to the service. He didn't come. I was promised that he would come in 3 day! Againg he didn't come! Waste 2 days off from work! Waste 230e! Over 2 weeks now!!!

Horrible service. They schedule the delivery date but nobody shows up. They say "sorry" but this is just empty words no help no action. Scam. You pay for the order, they use your money. No delivery after placing an order and waiting for 6 weeks. Shame on Buy it Direct!!!

Very poor customer service, beginning to think its a scam, ordered table & chairs on the 17th of August, had to rearrange delivery for the 26th August, it never arrived nor did i receive an email to this effect, now tracker shows 31st August but the excuse is its out of stock, i'll receive an email when its back in, 4 different names to 4 emails in the emails i received. Scam

Huge issues with delivery and collection, basically they give you a date 3 times before the real one happens, cost me 3 days annual leave so far! Bought a refurbished dishwasher which never worked at all. Took 4 weeks, multiple emails, phone calls and eventually got a refund, then to get the broken machine collected.... They are UK based and do not give a damm about Irish customers, in fact they are positively useless.

ASKED A QUESTION BEFORE I BOUGHT A COOKER AND WAS ASSURED THAT THE COOKER CAME WITH A GRILL TRAY AND HANDLE/ ON ARRIVAL I QUICKLY NOTICED NO GRILL TRAY AND NO HANDLE???. APPALLING SERVICE, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE., have essentially robbed my money from me. I purchased a bbq that arrived damaged and then faulty as it would not light and stay lit. So I sent on photos of damage etc upon receiving the item and started the return process, which has been an absolute nightmare. The package is still sitting here. I have had to chase up City air express myself, each time the couriers have told me they have no order in the system for collection at my address. That ridiculous "chat" they have where they cannot help you at all is offline. Countless emails today and 3rd time I've been told pick up is arranged and 3rd time it has never happened. Courtney phoned me the first time and seems they never gave the shopping company my address....W T F like you have ONE JOB. City air aren't mind readers it's not gona get to me without my address. Omg....I can't even express how upset I am by this whole thing. Avoid at all costs this company..I have filed with the Gardai and documented everything in the event that there is any issue. I'm at the end of my patience now and have asked my brother in law to handle it with his law form if I don't get a call back today. Soooo much hassle...please save yourself the drama

Awful ordered wine firdge 2 months ago and still havent recieved it. Countless messages to try and find out where it is too many times its been "on its way" to count. At one point it was dispatched and out of stock on the same day. Conflicting information patronising messages apologising for the delay but no action taken. Latest message its now the couriers fault?? Customer service non extisting they dont care once they have your money its a surprise to them that you actually want the product delivered. I would cancel but i installed a kitchen with a space left for the wine fridge. Under no circumstances deal with this company you have a better chance of winning the Lottery than recieving your order.

Have not received my order which was placed more then a month ago,having so much trouble with the company for a refund would not recommend this site as unable to get anywhere if there is an issue.

This is a scam company. I have been trying to arrange a pickup for a defective appliance for over two weeks. I'm stuck with the broken item and no refund.

I had the worse experience you can imagine. I mean unreal 3 month of waiting Dozens of delivery date official that are lies A sales team that stop answering after the sales And just a bunch of lies I will keep writing reviews, it's my first time in life. And it's the only time a company deserves it

I ordered an item on 26th march and still havent got it, told it would be delivered 31st march, then 7th april i was told it wasnt in stock, i called and was told it was in stock, ove had 6 different dilivery dates since then, every day i check my tracking order it changes dates, do not order from this shower unless you want to lose your money. In November 2021 we ordered a television via the site. We received the television as expected but the screen was blown. This is where the trouble started. At first we asked for the same television to be sent back to us, unfortunately it was no longer in stock. A sales representative told us that we had to pay the difference to receive a similar television. He refused to make a commercial gesture for the inconvenience caused (exempt us from this difference of around €60) and offered us a full refund. We didn't find it right to do so (they probably had their reasons) so we opted for a full refund. AND AFTER IT'S A BIG JOKE! They asked us several times for bank details before confirming that the refund was in progress. When we ask for an update, they ask us again for our bank details and reconfirm that the refund is in progress (which is a lie since it has been going on for weeks). We finally received a partial refund in January. So we claimed the remaining amount and they started asking us again for bank details and confirming that the refund is in progress, etc... Your refund process is SCANDALOUS! We are in February and today again you are redeeming my partner's bank details. Do your job properly and stop taking people for idi*ts.

Ordered goods from the Irish website. Gave a Dublin number. Was unable to enter my company name. When I asked for the invoice to be put in my company name, they refused. Then I was charged additional customs charge. Goods were coming from UK, where I was led to believe they were coming from Ireland, If I wanted to return, I'd need to ship to UK and pay that cost. This is just a UK site pretending to be Irish. Beware.

A really rotten service all round. I am Dublin based and searched their site for a 17 inch or larger laptop and purchased a Dell laptop as per their listing. It was paid for and delivered under the invoice number 104770476. On arrival I discovered it was an 11 inch netbook and nothing like the size advertised. I raised a return and was given the return number 77954886 and returned it via UPS (I was later told when I phoned them that return number was for a table and chairs ??). I tracked the return using tracking number 1ZE432R26897458090 on the UPS website, Buyitdirect refused to accept delivery of it 3 times so I phoned them on their local Dublin number and after a wait of 32 minutes got through to someone in the UK who advised me, after a lengthy conversation, that yes they would accept delivery of the laptop but since there are UK import duties to be paid that amount, £150 will be deducted from my refund. I have no way of reclaiming this amount from the UK government, they do, yet I have to bear the cost of their deceitful advertising. I originally wished to simply exchange it for an alternative 17 inch laptop but was told NO, I would have to return it and obtain a refund, which would take a month to process, yet they can take payment in 30 seconds, then I could purchase an alternative item. I was going to purchase an alternative 17 inch laptop from them, but not now, not after this fiasco and I advise EVERYONE to either stay completely away or be very, very careful dealing with them. I ordered a chair 3 weeks ago and paid €114. The chair is now 'on sale' for €152! Total scam. Chair still hasn't arrived either after being told it would arrive 2 weeks ago.
