“Beautiful items, but no packaging when posted so my item arrived damaged. I was told to come to store to replace it, when I did they told me it was out of stock. Waste of time and a disappointing experience. Would not return or recommend”

“Delivery took over a month and half to arrive as it was lost by dpd. I wrote 3 times to ask for a refund as I urgently needed the funds but this was refused. Dpd confirmed that the package was lost and rather than refund the order as I repeatedly requested, the order was reprossed and sent again. So almost
2 months after the original order I am still without a refund. I now need to find an opportunity to drive the new package to the post office and wait for it to be returned and a refund to be processed. I likely will not have this money before Christmas. So disappointed with this service and the customer experience. Angry and sad that my money is still not returned and feel there must be a law preventing this”
“If I could rate a 0 star for this company, I would. It’s a shame that the products in this store is beautiful but customer service and delivery was terrible! I had to remind them to send my order after weeks of waiting and then there was another order where a wrong product sent across to me and it took another 2 weeks (still waiting) for them to send the correct product! The person who I have been dealing with is not exactly the most proactive either and have waited to pick up the wrong product before sending the correct order out, making excuses etc. I most definitely won’t be a returning customer. There are better Irish companies out there like Josh & Jenna and Bellababy. Much more trustworthy and efficient when it comes to customer service.”
“Terrible. The flimsy packaging on my product broke because they cello taped it to the delivery box. They refused to exchange it because the product was ‘damaged’ even though it was just the cellophane that had broke and the product was completely fine. There was no way for me to remove it from the box without the package breaking, so if anyone caused the damaged it was them when packaging it, not me. I had to make the 2 hour round trip to the store to return it but when I got there the lady said they can’t take it back because they can’t resell with broken cellophane, so it is I who must incur the financial loss not the company. Don’t understand the companies stance on this as was a return customer and someone who would have spent more over the years at this store if I’d had reasonable treatment and outcome.”
“Poor quality item, got shipped broken pieces twice. Customer service not taking any responsibility. Order that was supposed to take 4-6 weeks took 12 weeks. Will never purchase anything there again.”
“Made it appear on social media that they were doing a baby event alongside the pregnancy-baby fair in Ireland. But in the Sandyford store, hardly anything was marked down. When I brought one marked-down item to the til, the lady said: "Oh the price of this item has gone back up". I was too awkward to take it back so paid full price but felt a little cheated. It's not my fault that they didn't update the tags.”
“We ordered a trip trap bundle... accidentally choose wrong colour for the chair. Time of the delivery called the shop and they said it cannot be changed as it's a furniture item. The box was untouched but we said ok then we asked if the seating unit could be change for a matching colour as we order according to the original colour we wanted. We were told that it's possible but they will give us a phone call back. Noone get in touch with us. The colour of the seating unit we asked it's on stock on the website not sure what was the problem.”
“Service in store was great at the time of purchase. But multiple mistakes with orders thereafter. Orders not being processed, no one aware of the order placed until mentioned and chased by myself, high end products coming damaged/broken, sebra cot and needed to be dismantled by us and changed, and still missing item that was ordered a few months ago a changing mat that was upsold to us instore. Now we have no changing mat for the baby and I am hospitalised the last month not able to leave the hospital.
Although customer service was polite, no reasonable solution given on any of the situations above. Lacked conflict and resolution training. Instead, the only solution was to buy more products from your store while awaiting the actual product I ordered a few months ago. The whole process has been the cause of alot of frustration at a very sensitive time.
Although I understand there can be a supplier issue on some products plenty of time has passed to come up with alternative or an agreeable solution. My contract of goods is with the store and the excuse was continuously someone elses issue. Byggebo took no responsibility in rectifing the issues at hand or responsibility for the lack of management or processing the order correctly. Sebra sent a new part but again could not send someone with knoweledge who could dismantle and put it back together. After spending such a large amount with your company I found the whole process extremely disappointing, frustrating, time consuming. The aftercare was non existing and the fact that you wished me to spend more money to replace the item while I wait for it still is not acceptable to us.”
“The website has a flaw that you cannot change your order even when the website incorrectly processed your order. But the worst thing is that byggebo does not care at all, they never came up with one solution to help get the order I wanted. buying from byggebo was a big mistake. I payed almost as much on shipping cost as the order it self which is offcourse absurt and never what I wanted. Byggeboo does not care about it and just want your money and don’t care at all if the customer is happy. If they came up with a solution to help me I would have been more to happy to buy from them again. But again they blame the customer and not themselves.. As seen on other reviews the customer service is poor and they won’t admit it.”

“Whoever you are using as your courier is appalling. The parcel came battered and ripped, with some of the internal boxes ripped open because of how roughly the package was handled and transported. The main box was also a reused box and very poorly sealed by whoever did it in your warehouse.”
“Purchased a Snuz cot on 25 March last. Was damaged in transit. Replacement part delivered first week of April, some of the fittings missing. To date due to gross inefficiency on part of supplier (incorrect documenation for customs)we are still waiting for parts . Possibly we will get them in another 5 working days. In the meantime we have e no cot.”
“Terrible experience so far - and product hasn’t arrived. We told it would be 2-3 day delivery. It has now been over 5 business days. I have tried to contact via phone on website, email and online portal. No one answering, no one replying. Terrible service. We also need the product urgently and went with this company due to their delivery time, never again.”
