“I have always had good service in the Calumet stores I have visited and it's one of the few bricks and mortar stores where one can see, try and buy professional photography equipment (the only one in my area, in fact). One can order through their website too, of course. Not always the cheapest option, compared with buying online, but Calumet sales offer great value, and the service is worth paying for - online can't replace that.”

“I get Calumet emails giving details of good offers/bargains. I got one that showed tripod heads were on offer with a % off. Great, just what I needed. Unfortunately they had no picture of the item but a quick visit to another photographic site revealed all. I made my order on one afternoon and was given the option of paying extra for next day delivery. I didn't need that but even so my parcel did arrive the following day, well packaged and secure in bubble bags inside a box. A few day later I got an invoice by post, separate to the delivery note on the parcel. Couldn't have asked for much more - just a picture of the produce and that is minor.”

“I was told my item was not in stock, although I had pay up front. After the intended date for the arrival two weeks) arrived without trace of the goods, I contacted the shop via phone a few days later. The goods arrived a couple of days later after my call. I am pleased my equipment wasn't worth a lot of money in relative terms, otherwise I would have been most concerned. Customer satisfaction could have been enhanced considerably by one telephone call to me!”

“It was my first purchase at Calumet and I'd happily go back again. The guy who helped me had a wide knowledge of the available products and gave me lots of tips, and actually helped me save money. He was very courteous and had a lovely sense of humour, as well. The shop is wide and stocks a great variety of photographic equipment, from cameras to accessories, and is located very close to Euston Station. Recommended!”

“For anyone used to choosing between Jessops or Currys on the high street or Amazon online, Calumet is a breath of fresh air. A hidden gem, located in an industrial estate just north of the city centre, they combine professional knowledge with an incredibly wide stock portfolio and great prices. I got a current-generation Wacom tablet for around 25% less than the typical high street price and 10% less than Amazon. Ready to pick up right away - no waiting for the post man. Highly recommended.”

“Well-stocked, spacious and airy showroom in Drummond St NW1, across the street from Euston station so very easy to get to. Plenty of not-easy-to-find ancillary photo products on display, can pcik up and handle caes, bags, tripods etc. Good range of lighting equipment, staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy. Highly recommended to visit.”

“Took sometime to be served. Very poor choice of lenses. Employee was very knowlegeable. Went to purchase a zoom lens with a budget of £300. Ended up with a second-hand lens at £125. Would not return to this shop. Future camera purchases will be made online.”
