“I have been having problems with my Canon Speedlite when using certain batteries. My friend always uses Calumet ones and never has a problem so I decided it was worth investing in some. I fully intend to buy more!”

“What a brilliant service. The staff took in my camera with its broken lens, they kept me well informed and when I said that I had a wedding to photograph for a relative the very day I could pick up my camera they recharged the battery. Fantastic and would recommend to anyone :)”

“Having bought a couple of (small) things online a while ago, I was somewhat surprised to discover the shop is less than 5 miles from where I work! Popped in after a recommendation from a friend, and was duly very impressed by the quality of service and knowledge of the staff. Being the clumsy, ahem, person I am, I managed to totally remove the sliding grip from my nice new Lowepro backpack; took it back in a couple of days later, and the problem was speedily and easily fixed for me. Very happy guy here, and would heartily recommend Calumet to anyone who asks. (And anyone who doesn't, too!!)”

“Great service, great staff. Was given a fair price for a trade in against a new lens. Lens arrived quickly and more importantly I was emailed with updates about what was happening with it. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. All in all a great experience and they will be my first port of call for any new equipment in the future.”

“I discovered Calumet through a friend who suggested that I should go and have a look at the shop. I went up for a look and a chat to the assistants. The guy I spoke too couldn't have been more helpful and at no point did he pressurise to buy anything. On this occasion I was only looking and trying to make up my mind. On the second visit I was on a mission to get myself the camera I had checked out and the experience was excellent. Good advice, a great opportunity to see and hold the camera and a very pleasant assistant who dealt with me. I would certainly go here for any photo equipment in future, as I probably shall!!”

“I was looking online to purchase a new tripod, after reading lots of reviews I still wasn't sure exactly what brand I wanted. the best tripods I had used previously were the Calumet 7300 at the college I attend, I wanted something similar to that but a little lighter. I logged on to the Calumet site and within seconds a window popped up asking if I wanted to chat, I clicked the link and wrote a brief message, within seconds Sean replied to me asking how he could help. I explained .. again very briefly what I was looking for and he quickly sent me a link to a tripod, It was the Calumet 7300 which I had used at college. I told him that I needed something that would give me lower angles. he replied with "how about this ?" the Manfrotto MT190XTPRO .. It was exactly what I had been looking for . and it was £20-30 cheaper that most other places I searched for the same model. I'll definitely be buying from Calumet again top class service”

“Things have changed a lot in the last couple of years when I was asked to fill out one of these and I told the truth. It was followed up with a phone call and things started to change. I received a great amount of help and enthusiasm with regards to my Russian Fuji XE2 drama from the Manchester office and I've just had another good experience in both London and Manchester with remote flash problems solved with a friendly wink when my battery charge problems vanished in embarrassment when shown how to put the battery in properly! So no longer does one need to be an attractive Scandinavian student with no intention of spending any money to get good service and attention. It's win win for the late 40's photographer as the only people who truly understand are the staff at Calumet”

“I have used Calumet before An easy website to negotiate with clear and concise information. I used the chat app to find out important information about lens compatibility My answer was replied to instantly which gave me the confidence to go ahead and purchase my products. I would recommend Calumet to my Family and Friends and will happy to continue with future purchases.”

“Calumet are to be commended for maintaining stores and showrooms in this age of Internet purchasing. They are staffed with really knowledgeable people who understand photographers' needs. Despite the costs of this they manage to be competitive on pricing especially if you look out for their offers. I can also recommend their own brand gear which is well made and often cheaper.”
