“The tripod I ordered is great I believe but haven't tested its full capabilities yet however, the service was a little patchy as I wasn't notified on my order reaching the shop where I was meant to collect it. Only until I got in touch with customer services I found out that my order was ready to collect.”

“They provided the camera I wanted the Canon 5D Mk lV on the day they said they would but Canon has let me down very badly as my camera is not compatible until Canon provides the drive to Apple and I have been waiting for over two weeks to use my camera so am not a happy bunny. I even upgraded to Sierra on Apple as they said it was compatible with the new Mk lV but the vital drive has still not arrived. Grrrrr”

“Overall, service is consistently good. I've yet to meet any horrible sales assistants. Generally the depth of knowledge is spot on, but there are a few instances that makes me wonder if the management did a form of training with the staff to get their knowledge up to standard. I understand that cameras can be pretty confusing due to their naming schemes, but I was for example confused when a staff said that the A7S II was £1500, when she was actually looking at the price of the A7S, and insisting that she can't be wrong. Also, there was a confusion with another staff member over the konova K3 & K5, giving me the wrong price yet again. I would've taken advantage of that but ah, I'll feel bad about it. Lastly, I was told to go to euston to get the OSMO, and so I did. I purchased it, and waited patiently for an hour for them to find it in their warehouse. Turns out there was a logistics error where they didn't actually have the OSMO but only the spare battery, and according to them, some warehouse staff logged the battery as the device instead. That wasn't very nice, as I actually took the day off to get the product and was promised of its availability. If anyone's actually reading this, some form of voucher would be amazing for my time wasted. Once again, mostly understandable mistakes, but maybe that might affect those consumers whom are not that well versed in their product of interest?”

“When buying the new Fujifilm XT-2 was given some useful comparisons of the battery types that fitted it enabling a cheaper choice of spare. There seem to be some new enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, which makes a nice change as on previous visits some service was offhand and unhelpful.”

“The product is well made and feels the the part. You can get plenty of kit (one camera) in there for a day out. I am pleased with the purchase but like everything it's always a trade off Having used it , here are a things that would make the bag better for me. A cup/strap at the bottom of the back to hold the tripod legs and not the bag pocket, the top of the monopod swings all over the place, hitting things Quick release clips on the front straps Option to purchase another inlay for the top half of the bag allowing two cameras and equipment A pouch to place a business card , if lost please return. Water Bottle holder”

“I wanted A4 papers for inkjet printing. This was my first visit to Calumet and the staff member gave me a good overview of the different types available. I was pleased to find that she is a practicing photographer.”

“Customer service is excellent as an item I ordered was out of stock and as I needed it ASAP they arranged a refund really quickly, the case on wheels ordered was fine although I found it incredibly heavy so would not be suitable for taking on a plane.”
