“Some miscommunication with stock meaning I came down and you had sold what I was coming for. However quick turn around and new one sent quickly from Edinburgh. Very friendly service and happy with product!”

“Good price, Good that I could use interest free credit. Only negative was that I wasn't informed that item was dispatched which was quite annoying as it was an expensive item and I couldn't arrange to be in on the day of deliver because of this.”

“Having recently visited the London store and bought a new camera I very much like Calumet. I ordered the camera interest free through their finance offer. Everything was smooth and it arrived quickly. I have taken a star off for the lack of communication. My order was supposedly completed with no email confirmation or tracking code.”

“Calumet offer a good range of professional photographic equipment and I would highly recommend them for this. The standards of customer service and interaction with the staff at Drummond Street is generally good even though you may have to wait in a queue to be served. I do find the direct sales telephone customer service and interface is not always friendly and verging on on being impolite. I recently made an enquiry about a £5,000 camera I had just purchased from the Drummond Street store and I was not sure if the customer service person had actually heard what I had said - I had to force a response from them. They were quick to cover up - however I didn't feel they were that bothered about my custom. To be fair - on the other hand I have spoken with other customer service agents who have been a model of what you would expect from a customer services agent - polite, engaging, mindful and they appeared to value my business.”

“Always friendly and helpful. Service can be a bit slow however. Understandably representatives will be busy carrying out daily tasks when a customer is ready to pay but in a couple of recent visits it has taken them slightly too long to pause their jobs to serve me as a customer.”

“Hi, I have been buying equipment from Calumet for a very long time, and have spent thousands of pounds down the years. I am now a dedicated Fuji X system user, and at the recent Belfast branch road show on the 19th. May, I ordered the most expensive lens that Fuji have recently launched the XF 100-400 zoom with a converter, and I have to say I am very disappointed that I am still waiting on the delivery of same. I have no problem whatsoever with the very helpful staff at Belfast, but just a little disappointed that there is still no definative date available for the delivery of same. I have been given on three occasions different dates as to when it was supposed to be delivered, and on each occasion I have been disappointed. I want to say that someone at HQ should be able to advise me exactly as to when I can expect delivery, as I would be pretty sure that a large organisation like Calumet ought to be more accurate about delivery dates for professional photographers. Perhaps you just might take my comments on board.”
